And Boris updated 0.484 again...

Restored fix for transparent hairs in water reflections which looks green there. Fixed size of complex particles when sky mesh is scaled. Removed shader caching functionality as it not works because of some skse plugin or mod manager which replaces file access functions. Applied minor cpu performance optimizations.

New version of ENBSeries v 0.488

Fixed various bugs with water and made sharper looking displacement. Water For ENB mod was also updated to match recent changes. I found some places where game do not apply amplitude modifier, so patched such waters. For example near Solitude is one of such water which do not react properly for waves amplitude. Same happenened to caustics.

Updated ENBSeries 0.499 for TES Skyrim SE without version change. Fixed bug of indirect lighting when sun or sky intensity is huge. Fixed bug of the game volumetric rays when big values of their intensity makes picture darker.

It appears that the mod "Enhanced Lighting for ENB," recommended in the ENBSeries Guide, was deleted from Nexus. Is there any recommended alternative for this mod that won't cause issues with the Step Skyrim Special Edition Guide?

That file was deleted over a year ago, I think. Nexus archives all files, so they can always be accessed if you know how to use their API.

A better option is probably Kulharin's rendition.
