Better Embers

 

I really like this one as it removes the purple haze that plagues many of the current ember textures used in STEP/TPC. Currently it is packaged as a BSA but it's just textures.... so I just extracted them. (it's a transfer from Steam Workshop)

Noticed that, unfortunately it looks like some of his work was based off Isoku's RSE with a few modded files. I really hope he fixes his upload so he does not get banned as he has posted some nice stuff on the nexus lately. I've left a post in his comments section.

Looks like he took my advice and added credits for Realistic Smoke and Embers which his mod is based on.

I don't understand why some modders even bother uploading somebody else's work without crediting them in the first place, even if it's just a part of the original mod.

I think in this case it really was just a matter of not remember where he got them... but in any case, the textures are nice and most of the purple "haze" is gone. I fully recommend this one.

Has he actually improved isoku's work?  Or either of the 2 mods in step, cinematic and dynamic fires?

It only conflicts with RSE (part of TPC now). It's basically Isoku's work but with the purple haze problem removed.
