Skin texture

Can anyone recommend a good skin texture for vanilla models, other than XCE? Kind of bored with that.

I have looked at most of the skin and body mods out there, and overall I find that XCE is just the best. The skin textures for men are all really terrible. There are some really nice ones for females, but they all tend to make woman look too pretty and unnatural looking, and at best only look a little better than XCE does anyway. I have found that UNP with EEO makes elven females look much more dainty and elfy, but it doesn't much suit the human female characters and I find breasts and ******'s in my game really distracting. I searched for a quite a bit and tried out a few different mods, and eventually found that XCE gives the best balance overall. For the vanilla bodies its pretty much the only mod out there. If you are willing to try other body mods than UNP in particular has a lot of good options, but I still prefer XCE over all of them.

I liked the texture from a mod -forgot he name sry- that offered a more natural look by making the skin high res but also adding moles and stuff. It was only for women though I think. If I recall later I'll look it up.

For women I use Mature Skin, but I'm not certain that there's a vanilla body version of it.

Recently tried True Daughters of Skyrim for females. Really like it. linkie Versions for Vanilla, UNP and CBBE.

Apparently a male version is WIP.
