for inclusion in STEP, as they all give a little performance boost without significantly affecting the quality of the visuals.

And yes, they're quite nice, I use the highest resolution options there is there (so I don't lose any real noticeable quality) and it seems to work quite nice for example in The Rift with all the aspens etc

I'll add my voice that these be at least mentioned in STEP. Or maybe if a STEP performance page were created on the wiki, these should definitely go there

This has been bugging me for a while now. Correct me if I'm wrong but can't everything this mod does be done via DDSOpt? Heck I'd imagine a batch file could be created as well as a set of settings for the guide. Thoughts?

I looked at one of the textures with Compressonator and the vanilla texture and the one in Skyrim Performance Plus seemed different when viewed at the same resolution, but I didn't look at a whole set of them. The textures have animation, and I'm not sure whether the Skyrim Performance Plus textures are simple reduced resolution versions of the vanilla textures or edited versions that are designed for use at lower resolution.

I use these but I was wondering if they're being used cause ENBoost uses some other kind of files for these, no?

This mod is just texture improvements as far as I'm aware. (Smaller textures without loss of quality to improve performance) I'm not aware that ENB Boost includes any textures...could be wrong bc I don't use ENB Boost on my laptop.
