Had the same issue. Never seen this before. Does it have to do with latest Windows 10 update maby?

Solved it by adding both DynDOLOD64.exe and TexGen64.exe as exceptions in the rules for Windows antivirus as stated above.

Just to the anti-virus? That is not working for me unfortunately. Must be something to do with the updates that came down this week. Was able to run Texgen earlier this week with no issue.

Same here. To me is was just to give permission in windows defender. And i also given permission to the whole MO2 folder and the DyDOLOD folder.

Yeah, just did that myself. Giving the MO2 folder and the DynDOLOD folder an exception in windows defender gets it back up and running. Though I am quite curious as to why all of a sudden WD seems to not like either anymore. . .

Read the log messages and follow their suggestions.

The message "the system can not find the path specified" means that the OS told the program that the path does not exist. In case it actually does, it typically means the OS, UAC, anti vir or some other crapware prevents access.

I tried adding MO2 Texgen and Dyndolod to windows security allow through firewall list and also ran them all as administrator and still get this error.

I deleted Noble Skyrim and aMidianBorn Buildings and Landscapes SE and Texgen started working. I then reinstalled aMidianBorn Buildings and Landscapes SE and it still works. I'm thinking perhaps the textures got borked somehow. currently redownloading Noble Skyrim.

Thanks for the help anyway.

Nope doesn't like Noble Skyrim for some reason. Tried the 2K and performance version too. I downloaded both manually cause MO2 sometimes borks the rar's for big files.

Also just noticed but Noble Skyrim doesn't have impwall05ice_n.dds? but dunno why that should be a problem, surely the file exists somewhere in the game or another mod installed?

I just cant get my head around it, I mean Noble skyrin never seems to work with texgen now but sometimes other mods are causing errors too. though if i keep messing with activating and deactivating mods eventually it'll work with everything again EXCEPT Noble Skyrim.

I think my brain is melting trying to figure out what wizardry will make Texgen like my mods 😞

Windows Security - Security against virus & threat - Settings for virus & threat\Administer settings - Exceptions\Add or remove exceptions -  +Add exception [point at the folder you want to make an exception for]

impwall05n.dds exists in vanilla Skyrim - Textures4.bsa

The problem that the OS tells a program a source file or destination path does not exist while it actually is typically that the tools are being blocked by the OS, UAC, anti etc.

I'm getting the following error, I was getting in on DynDOLOD 2x as well so I updated to 3x in hopes to fix the error but that didn't happen.

Can not copy resource textures\dungeons\imperial\impextwall01_n.dds to D:\Skyrim VR (Modded)\tools\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\DynDOLOD-temp\textures\dungeons\imperial\impextwall01ice_n.dds The system cannot find the path specified.

Side note: I'm using this with a modpack from Wabbajack which copied my skyrim installation to a new path (D:\Skyrim VR (Modded)\Stock Game). The reason they did this was because the modpack comes with DLL loaders, skse vr, enb, etc pre installed. I already added the following to arguments in MO2:

-TES5VR -d:"D:\Skyrim VR (Modded)\Stock Game\Data"

Edit: I saw the post above had similar issues however I'm not sure I understand how to resolve it.

Alright I've added Mod Organiser, Dyndolod and Texgen to the allowed apps in the windows defender firewall I also added all 3 to the exclusions for the Microsoft defender anti virus scans. I've turned CCleaner off (in case that was causing the problem) and nope still exact same error 😞
