I am thinking it might also be that the two databases don't sync immediately.  I'll give it a few days too.

They do sync immediately. Log in using 'Ruedii' and your forum password.

Yeah, it still isn't working.

My password is a little long and cryptic because I'm using a password generator for added security.  Do you think that might be the issue?

That shouldn't be it. The software should be up to latest standards. If you can log into forums with that pass, you can (in theory) log into wiki using same. The only diff is that wiki expects capital first letter of your forum member name, so if it's 'ruedii' on forums, you must use 'Ruedii' on wiki. Can you post the errors and anything that could help us dig into the issue> Also, please try using a browser you never use so that we can rule out browser caching issues (clearing cache also works, but it is more difficult to accomplish this than one might think)

It's something to do with the IPBAuth extension not being able to negotiate account creation. No new wiki user accounts created since site upgrade. I will need to look at this on the backend over the weekend to resolve.

Do we have an ETA on this it's been down all day. Somebody wake Z up. thought a new Server was being purchased to help with these issues?

It when down sometime late last night. I have a message out to Z on Discord. I'll send him a text message if he doesn't respond within a few more hours.

The server is going to be purchased, however, we're holding off until we're closer to live testing our development work. This is so that we're not paying for two servers, unnecessarily, for several months. Plus, we can't move the current setup to the new server until the dev work is complete because we don't own the current version of the forum software. We just purchased the latest version for development, though. Until then, I'm hoping for no more than a 24hr downtime before the wiki is reset. Not days like it used to be.

Stay with us ladies and gents. It'll only be a few more months before you'll see some massive changes (for the better)!
