question why do use relinker , when reading a post here, doesnt zmerge cover relinker. or is it that zmerge not been updated too do so yet.

 

zmerge is going to be far superior.
When it drops, use it over relinker.

Relinker is dead, but Ill still provide it because I do not remove my files from the internet.

Just curious if anyone else is seeing a consistent crash with zMerge on "LOTD Patches Merged"?

 

So, zMerge looks to be awesome.  Going through and sorting out/updating all the merges - I've done about 10 so far without any problem, but zEdit crashes hard when I try to do the LOTD merge.  Seems to have some problem between "OMEGA LOTD Consistency Patch.esp" requiring master "DBM_ImmersiveCreatures_Patch.esp"...  but they're both present and ready to go... 

 

I know this isn't the right forum for zEdit (not to mention it's alpha, etc.), just thought maybe there's something extra I'm missing with this one (or maybe still in process...?)

I crash when I try to enter an outside area. Should I redo my LODGen and DynDOLOD?

I checked all my mods and load order and redid the entire finishing line. Everything works great until I either start in an outside area with LaL, start inside and walk outside through a door, or coc to an outdoor area. Is there anything I could try? This is the same thing that was happening my first go at the pack before I reinstalled everything from scratch last week.

I get the same Error, but for me it says it requires "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch" but its present

added a link on the merge page to some sexy screenshots on how to create a merge hopefully it will those of you unfamiliar with zMerge

Thanks for the Screenshots but all other merges working for me just fine, just "LOTD Patches Merged". I will send your some Screenshots from my error if i get home

First off - thank you!

 

So finished modding and the "finish line".  No errors with zMerge, and made it through easily.  After merges, I deactivated the mods on the left (except when they had other parts that were not merged).

1)  When I created a character, I had a problem with the eyes.

The eyes were all black, as if the textures were missing - no matter what I chose.

The only time I saw a difference, was when one eye was blind.

 

*** I plan to redo the faces merged and leave out the eyes. ***

 

2)  I also trying dynamic things, and it merged in miscellaneous fine (this worked before with merge plugins and was based on the Skyrim older guide).

 

*** I plan to redo the misc merge and leave that one out as well. ***

Will let you know if that fixes it.  Open to ideas also.

no, you do not deactivate the merged mods anymore you instead leave the mods active in the left pane but move the merged ESPs to optional within MO. you can either do tey yourself or use Merge Plugin Hide.
