Ahhh. So you did. Using those shots, it's still a bit of a toss up on the main shields. They both look decent, no question, though I think I like the higher paint coverage of CC... seriously, do the craftsmen just not care?... better than Frankly. Does Frankly give us shields for Falskaar and Helgen Reborn?

 

In the end though, your call - I just identified the error and gave a couple possible solutions - this bus is yours to drive.  ::P:

no Frankly textures don't cover Helgen reborn or Falskaar. I will have to spawn in some helgen reborn and Falskaar shield to compare but by that is might be worth going with CC's

Relinker 40 doesn't work for me anymore, this is my 2nd time doing this build and everything was fine until Relinker:

Apply merge maps.
          Applying merge maps: [#######-------------------------------------------] 13.4% Done  File "<string>", line 552, in <module>
  File "c:\miniconda-x64\envs\relinker\lib\encodings\cp1252.py", line 12, in encode
 
<class 'UnicodeEncodeError'>: 'charmap' codec can't encode characters in position 0-5: character maps to <undefined>
Is it vital to the build or can I skip it? Also 44 does succeed but I won't use it as I read I will just CTD on launching the game with 44 output.

New release of SSE Engine Fixes v2.12.1.5.50.  Can I "test myself" the update as I have time today to play with that or it is confirmed that dyndolod or other mods also cause a problem...

Well, the only other thing I can think is you use using a non-English version of Skyrim I have heard Relinker has problems with non-English versions. Yes, Relinker is vital if you don't run it all the mods that have scripts in them that have been merge will be broken. 

 

New release of SSE Engine Fixes v2.12.1.5.50.  Can I "test myself" the update as I have time today to play with that or it is confirmed that dyndolod or other mods also cause a problem...

I updated to v1.5.50 and thus I updated all the SKSE base mods that I could. Everything seems OK so far but I have not done any real testing.

Thanks Monge HDS and Lexys.  Well then I'll updated (mods listed in a previous message) and can do a little testing with a save and let you know if something bad happens. I have backups so I don't mind doing it... Good day!

basically, all have done is update and booted into the game to make sure I crash and startup nothing more so I haven't done any playing.

I don't know why Version 44 Succeeds and 40 doesn't.

I still haven't managed to run Relinker on my system (black cmd window just quickly appears and then goes away) but Merge Plugins work fine without any problems. Are my merges still broken then?  I haven't done excessive testing, but I've never run into any issues with merged mods so far... When it comes to scripts - I don't know if MCM is a good indicator, but all MCM's of merged mods are also working.

 

And DynDOLOD doesn't seem to be broken\not working.

well is possible your antivirus is blocking relinker also try running as an Admin I know that has worked for some users when Relinker wouldn't run.

I don't have antivirus, tried running as admin, tried diffirent versions of Relinker - nothing helps. And haven't find any information on this issue.

when you run relinker do you make sure MO2 is closed? another thing where is your MO2 Installed on your system?

In regards to an older post about the cinematic dragon soul absorbtion:

I manually exchanged the voiced animation with the somewhat annoying sound to the silent one also contained in the zip file and for me it's perfect now.

So I'm at a loss on what to do with merge plugins, it refuses to copy assets for merged plugins.

 

I was the one writing on Discord earlier about this.

 

I'm using 2.1.5 MO2. MO2 is not in program files folder.

 

Any ideas on how to proceed? Can I just copy-paste the assets from each merged mod into the merged folder of each merge patch that merge plugins produces? Here's a log from my audio merge for instance:
