Mandalay Posted November 12, 2016 Author Posted November 12, 2016 i must admit that some of the samples are pretty goodwill try it on top of my SRLE installation
torminater Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 oh god, that spotlight video in the description has too much texture shimmering for me. I only see billions of colored ant pixels crawling everywhere. I'll have to pass.
TechAngel85 Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 I didn't see shimmering besides on the mountains, but there was lighting in the videos that could be throwing it off. I personally think the textures look very good. I would be interested in a compare against current STEP and vanilla to see just how close to vanilla the author stayed with their vision...since it looks very similar, imo. I'm not sure I care for the mountain texture though. This is just coming from the video viewing, but they looked rather dark.
phazer11 Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Very interesting, wonder how long it took them to get everything tidy (and photogrammetry is annoying to do)
james4832 Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 The mod just had a massive update today, looks (imo) much better than before.
TechAngel85 Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 I seen the update. I'm really interested in testing this one.Marked for Testing.
TechAngel85 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Dropping this from testing. I've been playing with SRO and nothing compares to the quality while still staying in the realm of vanilla. SRO will be added back into STEP on the next release.
