SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified

Weird bug while playing, I can talk to Ri'saad outside of Whiterun about his home land, but when I ask him what he has for sale the game CTD's. It's repeatable. I checked form ID's and nothing overwrites him so I'm not sure what's going on.

Hmmmm, check the ownership on his goods/merchant chest.  If they're wrong CTD can occur.  The more likely problem is that he's selling something with a corrupted inventory mesh.

Hello, I've finished installing this modlist today (haven't done the Beautification yet), and during some play-testing I had occasional CTD's, as well as some low fps:

- 20fps inside Riften interior - (normally I have 50-60 fps in cities, with occasional drops to 40).

- Whiterun is fine, I almost always stay above 50

- Markarth brings me to around 33-50

- Solitude around 40-50 depending on direction

So far, Riften is the one city that feels unplayable due to the lag, I haven't checked further.

My computer specs:

- SSD

- i7-7700k (not overclocked)

- GTX 1080 Ti (not overclocked)

- 1440p GSYNC monitor (I've disabled V-Sync, enabled GSync for Fullscreen & Windowed)

I've installed everything on the page - HQ, CORE, Optionals, City Overhauls etc. Just wondering if I've missed any major optimizations or if this performance is to be expected for a high-end PC. My beth-ini settings are exactly as described on the Prerequisites page. Thanks!

yes could be vsync. Have you disabled all vsync ? enb, game ini and nvidia driver if you use gsync ? And also dont know how the game works with this new sync mode since it was not around when Oldrim appeared. Also Oldrim engine doesnt work well with higher than 60 fps so you need to limit.

For Markarth and Solitude fps are normal. A bit low in Riften but could also be due to the old engine. Try with and without enb and see if fps improves.

Or switch to SSE and all these fps problems are gone. :)

Thanks so much for that! I actually had my VRAM set as 2944 mb and VSync enabled in the enblocal.ini file... I thought that ENB Organiser was properly syncing the changes I made to the Phinix preset but I guess not. I have limited my fps with Nvidia inspector.

Now I get ~30 frames in that same place I had 22, so that is a massive improvement! Wondering now if I should go for the SMC and beautify this game even more...

I'll definitely switch once I finished a Requiem playthrough, was just curious as I've never played deleveled Skyrim.

Once again, thanks for the help!

if you go with SMC you should choose 2k 1k textures and only on big models 4k like moutains, dragons etc. so you wont exceed 4gb limit in vram.

SMC doesnt impact FPS only vram. If you want full SMC you should consider win 7 (or dual boot)... i had like 5.5 gb vram used with full smc and in win 10 this can't happen in oldrim. For SSE is not a problem (which i currently have installed)

Yeah, while building this I'm only choosing 4k for stuff like unique weapons or uncommon clutter, everything else is 2k. I heard that there is a patch coming out for Windows 10 to remove the DX9 limit, but that might take a while..

I don't have enough space on my SSD to dual-boot and I don't want to install an OS on my 2TB HDD so I'll probably just wait on upgrading textures until that update comes out.

Hey again, I've finished making the SMC pack and on the SMC - Patches section of the Beautification page there is a link to a dropbox page which is no longer working, so I'm unable to get the Blowing in the Wind - Stable Signs Patch. Could you provide an alternate link?

sry i moved past oldrim for some time now... i dont have any patch left. But i think you dont need any extra patch now just the one that is provided in the nexus patches section. I just think that the SMC / Beautification page is just not properly updated (for texts)
