reddvilzz Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 The main mods that I'd want to use not in the guide are the rest of the mods that plug into Legacy that aren't here. And a few other favorites. Amulets of SkyrimArtifacts of BoethiaHunterbornMad MaskerNew Treasure HuntOblivion Artifacts PackSkyrim UndergroundThane Weapons RebornWyrmstooth A few other favorites:Caranthir Tower RebornClockwork CastleDawnguard and Clan Volkihar EpilogueDwemertech - Magic of the DwarvesLeft Hand Rings ModifiedZim's Immersive Artifacts (excluding the 'thane pack') Also a few compatability patches among those. If you scroll back where you first asked this I have explained the general of adding extra mods to this. Nozzer66 Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Not sure how many times I need to say:1) We can't add everything.2) It's your game add what you wish.3) Keep in mind that the game can only take so much. 4) You want to actually play the game and not be continually messing with it.5) The more you add the more likely you'll end up with issues.6) We'll help when we can.
Minoke Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Hmmmm. I think the most logical course of action is to get the guide as displayed running properly on my rig. Enjoy it a while, THEN start tinkering. I know I did the same questioning I did before, and sorry for the repetition. I'm still trying to figure all this out.
eimerian Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 For what it is worth my personal experience.Mad MaskerSkyrim UndergroundI have added these two and their patches (I think underground has a CACO patch?) to the guide, no errors, no conflicts so far. However, I wouldn't recommend these two if you are super strict about lore-friendlyness, as they have a goofy un-skyrimly tone.Wyrmstooth This one was a little more work:Followed the guide, and made sure the end result was working and stable.Made a new profile for adding wyrmstooth(call me unnecessarily uber-careful but I recommend it)cleaned the textures (like described for Falskaar)Merged all the patches and fixes for Wyrmstooth to one esp and modfolderInstall order was Wyrmstooth and Wyrmstooth cleaned textures very early between Falskaar and Moon and star, the patch folder very late with all the other compatibility patchesdidnt seem to require conflict resolution so I just user the guides conflict resolution espreran all the patchers (like ASIS and dynolod) and wyre bashprofit!

Finished the guide, then make a new profile in MO before adding more mods so I can revert back if **** happened. And then start remerging what's needed as a different mods to prevent mixup. After that I just add more mods in my testing profile while playing, and if things go well I'll create a new game with the full mods while fixing minor bugs and maybe adding more. Rinse and repeat. Minoke Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 That makes a lot of sense. Question though about MO profiles. Let's take Your Own Thoughts. It has a patch for Hunterborn. The main guide doesn't use it. How would I handle that with a straight SRLE and a 'augmented' one? Reinstall it under a different name, or does the profiles handle different .esps too? Never looked much into it.
DarkladyLexy Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 hey guys here is TESTING Update CR for version 1.55 https://www.dropbox.com/s/9i5vkpsewavhorn/SRLE%20Extended%20LOTD%20-%20CR%20Update%20for%201.55%20%28TESTING%29.7z?dl=0As usually this is my Development CR for the v1.55 update it only contains the most recent CR changes can i ask you guys would you prefer i post these dev CR's to the Guide instead of the forums so they always be easily found and not be buried? this update removes 2 conflicting tree shrubs from the Nordic excavation site from Relic Hunter (Legacy and ASLAL addon) start and thus you may need to redo DYNDOLOD.

baronaatista Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 @Minoke - you need to disable the YOT merge in your new profile, add the Hunterborn patch to the other YOT patches and rebuild the merge, naming something different (ideally with the profile name - so YOT Patches Merged_New Profile). This way, you can switch between profiles easily.
Minoke Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) I was going to find where to put in the new value for the VRAM Size Test tool, but can't seem to find it anywhere on the prerequisites page... am I just missing it? ... or is doing "AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true" on enblocal.ini sufficient to take care of it without actually manually installing the number? Darth_mathias Posted October 20, 2017 Author Posted October 20, 2017 I was going to find where to put in the new value for the VRAM Size Test tool, but can't seem to find it anywhere on the prerequisites page... am I just missing it?well there are 2 methods:1. in your enblocal.ini change VideoMemorySizeMb=0 and set AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true (this is what we use)2. in your enblocal.ini change VideoMemorySizeMb= use whatever the tools say and set AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false (This is what STEP recommends)

I do know that the mod author of Skyui - Show Armor Slots doesn't use Frostfall and wont make a patch.so unless someone else makes one we're stuck with the old version from my dropbox.
Minoke Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 I was going over the modlist again and the new thing on Crash Fixes confuses me - the second part for Windows 10 - on the properties for CRashFixPlugin.dll - I don't have any such thing when I click properties about "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer.â€" I'm in File Explorer for this, not MO.
