MO2 CTD when loading save or starting new game
alpha_sneeax posted a question in Mod Organizer Support
As said in the title my game crashes when i either load a save or try to start a new character. It works fine when i launch using steam but in MO2 it crashes. I get "Cannot start skse64_loader.exe" (it appears to work when i run MO2 as admin). My Skyrim SE version number is: 1.6.1170.0. I...- 7 replies

Hi, I've returned to playing Skyrim and modding after a few years. I have no idea what changed or what the issue is, but I cannot get SKSE to function properly. I'm assuming that I've done something wrong or made a mistake in a process somewhere that I can't find. For context, I have used SKSE...

I've been trying to run SkyUI for a while now, but every time I load the SKSE loader through MO2 (or even the Skyrim folder,) the game loads itself up and runs perfectly fine but there are no mods loaded. It shows the correct version is running but there just are 0 mods. When I run the game through...

I have been trying since November, 2021 to get DynDOLOD to work. Every time I try, it gives a different excuse for not working. I have Skyrim AE on my laptop with the version of SKSE64 for Skyrim AE, and that works fine. I have the DLL's installed. DynDOLOD resources 3.00 Alpha, and DynDOLOD 3.0...

I have the skyrim script extender loaded into the mod organizer but it won't run it. Instead it always run skyrim default. I have double-checked and the skse link uses C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\skse_loader.exe as the 'Binary' entry. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but...

My SKSE launches correctly through MO2 but whenever I check to see if my mods are enabled, they're all disabled. None of the files are in an UAC-controlled file. I also made sure MO2 is not installed in Skyrim or Steam's folders. I always run MO2 as administrator as well. Edit: Some addi...

Mod Organizer 2 Can't Start Skyrim SE
imadethisaccountbcMO2broke posted a question in Mod Organizer Support
I am at my wit's end. Mod Organizer 2 won't start Skyrim Special Edition with SKSE, launcher, or just the game. Steam starts it up fine but with no mods. Every time I click 'Run' on any of these, the MO2 locked window pops up for a few seconds, my computer fans speed up as if the game is about to st... -
Ive been modding for a few years now, and its gone without a hitch. I dont use vortex since its over complicated, and use a community driven NMM (Nexus Mod Manager.) Ive tried installing skse64 to play my new mod profile, but i cant seem to load it on skse. It somewhat loads on vanilla, but very bug...

I followed the guide through the entire thing and when I load up skyrim through the SKSE launcher, it works. I can load a new game and it doesnt crash. But when I load the new game I get 2 popups that morehud and skyui can not detect SKSE and wont run. I even ran the getskseversion command and it sh...

MO2 was loading up the game earlier just fine. I installed some mods and then it wouldn't load up anymore, I proceeded to delete said mods but the game still won't start up. Any help would be appreciated!

SKSE "Won't load properly or is being overwritten"
Sharkanoh posted a question in Mod Organizer Support
I load SKSE in MO2. I'm able to get to the main screen, but whenever I try to actually play SkyUI Error 7 pops up and says SKSE isn't load properly or is being overwritten. After that dialogue comes up the game crashes. I've tried multiple ways to fix it, but it just isn't working. -
Hi. I've been reading about the possible benefits of having particular entries in an SKSE ini file. E.g. ClearInvalidRegistrations=1, which sounds like it might be useful. Where I have got stuck is that I don't have an SKSE ini file in either my MO2 mods folder or in my SSE Steam game directory, an...

I recently reinstalled Skyrim Special Edition on my PC and decided to use MO2 after failing to use Vortex. Fell in love with how simple and easy it is, and I regret that I didn't use MO years ago or MO2 whenever it was released. I launched the game out of the SKSE 64 executable and realized that non...
