pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
Quahogs replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Curious about an issue in Jorrvaskr Living Quarters. Whenever I enter and look right down the long hall my FPS drops to <10 or so and get a lot of stuttering. The candles also flicker all in the same sequence. It continues that way going down the hall but all is fine if I turn around and go back to the entrance. Would this be an example of a conflict between JK's Whiterun and ELFX (or ELE) ? Thanks -
Wondering if MEM patch is working correctly
Quahogs replied to Quahogs's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Been reading up on some threads here and I'm going to give the below setting a shot. I have 16g ram and 4g vram. I was previously using the settings 64 and 4096 respectively. We'll see how this goes... ReservedMemorySizeMb=256 VideoMemorySizeMb=8192 -
Wondering if MEM patch is working correctly
Quahogs replied to Quahogs's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Thanks. Good to know that it's working as it should. The fact that my RAM never goes above 1200mb means ENB (.264 and Vividian 6.03) is working correctly too ? Not at home-don't have my settings- but am sure they are what NEO / Vividian recommended since I don't know enough to tinker. Oh well another start aborted, back to troubleshooting -
Starting to get frequent CTD's running from Whiterun to Riverwood (last test lasted 17 minutes before CTD) and 4 out of 10 times when I exit Whiterun to Skyrim. I have UGRIDS at 7, running Vividian High Quality version. I have 4G vram and before I crashed it registered 3824mb per Skyrim Performance monitor. I have most of the SR/LE graphics mods installed along with REGS too with about 250 plugins. I realize I'm probably pushing things and can live with the 1 hour CTD but they're now becoming more frequent. For starters I just want to make sure I have the MEM patch working at least. Thanks. I also ran the the speedmult 1500 test before I launched a new playthru and didn't CTD. Game looks beautiful but I'm probably never going to get a playthru using anything greater than 10 mods and stick figures... SKSI.ini (set up under MO) Memoryblocklog.txt

Thanks Smile, yes I saw some info on reddit so I think my game is good. This part. So far. :: As for 1.73 MCM stat configuration did you play it right out of the box or did you have to tweak some settings to make compensate for anything too weak/strong ?

No change. Was wondering if any Requiem players here see this as correct values. I did find something in REDDIT that stated a full set of heavy armor has an armor rating of 550. I simply have nothing to compare this too however...
-
I just noticed I had heavy shield fix active which is not needed if running hard times ? I also may not have had the latest resources mod and hard times either. I'm reinstalling now...

Sorry, posted twice.

I'm a bit confused. I'm running REQ 1.7.3 and have just started Helgen. I've noticed that my armor values seem whacked. For example : Stormcloak Curaiss has a value an armor rating of 182, imperial shield 138, Imperial bracers 72, etc. I checked TES5edit for Requiem and I don't see these ratings anywhere. My bashed patch, 0.esp only includes leveled lists. I've spent months working on this mod list and while extensive haven't really messed with anything other than the packs posted on these boards. Could it be that playing a Nord ramps these values so ? I don't have much PLAY experience since all I ever do is MOD this game but those rating don't look like anything I've played in my past REQ runs. Thanks all. I included my load order.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Quahogs replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Thanks Smile. Poured over the guide but it's probably an assumption that went over my head. Good catch with DCO, forgot about that one AOS2_CoT3_1_patch.esp : I could be wrong but I think the latest Vividian includes that patch? I'm not at home to verify that but I no longer have that in my LO. -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

I had this posted on another thread but the question is specifically for Neo: I have the below patches active in my LO: Besides the Requiem patch are the other patches redundant if I'm using the SR conflict resolution.esp patch ? Thanks AOS2_DCOd Patch.esp AOS2_GDO Patch.esp AOS2_RealisticWaterTwo Patch.esp AOS2_Requiem1.7.3 Patch.esp AOS2_WetandCold Patch.esp AOS_TAD Patch.esp AOS2_WAF Patch.esp -
Options for Audio Overhaul for Skyrim
Quahogs replied to jjjulien's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I always wondered why the SR guide didn't specify those instructions i.e. patch choices and subsequently not chosen for a merged patch. I do know that the SR conflict resolution patch includes a lot of AOS patching. I'm simply too raw to be certain about this. -

I have the below patches active in my LO: So what you are saying is besides the Requiem patch the other patches are redundant if I'm using the SR conflict resolution.esp patch ? Just so I have this straight... I reviewed the Basics of Resolving Conflicts STEP wiki and my step is to: Copy the records for the 4 files Skyrim.esm Update.esm USKP.esp WAF.esp so they show up in the new SR Conflict Resolution.esp file I created. So now there are 5 columns and I need to copy the record from USKP.esp to SR Conflict Resolution.esp and copy the Weight from WAF.esp to SR Conflict Resolution.esp ?
-
Ahh yes I was missing something basic. Thank you.

0001392A ArmorElvenGildedCuirass Conflict Resolution: Use record from Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp then move the Weight from Weapons & Armor Fixes_Remade.esp. Problem Resolved: Object bound and armor mesh fixes from unofficial patches were not properly forwarded. I'm finally attempting this CR and am not clear on the wording above: Skyrim.esm, update.esm, USKP.esp, and Weapons and armor fixes remade.esp have weights as 4, 4, 4, 7. The instructions say use record FROM USKP then move weight FROM Weapons and Armor fixes. So am I copying the 4 from USKP to WAF or am I copying the 7 from WAF to USKP ? It seems most instructions use from and from. Little tough for me to grasp this winner and loser conflict stuff even after watching some vids. Thank you NEO for doing the legwork here but it's still not clear to me yet. Thanks

@Smile @Mangaclub Supreme Storms - Cot Version.espCoT-WeatherPatch.espPureweather.esp Do you recommend ELFX be before or after these 3 mods ? I recall seeing varying setups hence my confusions. Also I see that NEO has the weather and ENB mod BEFORE conflicting graphics but in your Weather WIKI you note :Either install this in it's own section after Conflicting Graphics or place them in Landscape and Environment Thanks !

Are you familiar with merging your vividian esps ? I follow NEO's playbook : He has merged the below. Will I run into a problem if I merge ALL of the Vididian esps that I have ? Of course I didn't copy it correctly. I just moved the MP contents into the edit scripts folder :O_o: . I'm the reason why every tech guys says did you reboot the machine. Thanks !

Mangaclub, thanks for banging out a great ENB. I'm trying everything you have put out right now. Below is the plugin order I have under MO. I have looked at your order info on your Nexus mod page but the date shows April and since a lot of this is new I'd like to make sure I'm not screwing anything up. Thank you ! I'm attempting to merge plugins for the 1st time. After selecting the plugins to merge, apply scripts, merge plugins v1.7 this is the error message I receive: Cannot open file "C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonSkyrimTES5Edit_r1740Edit Scriptsmpdictionary.txt". The system cannot find the path specified. I can see that there is no MP sub directory hence no dictionary.txt file. Is TES5edit trying to create that sub directory but doesn't have permission? I'm running TES5edit thru MO. Thanks for any help.
