Thanks Paul, 'modify them yourself' lol easy for you to say. I've come this far I guess it's time to figure out CR... Curious about CR V1.25 - It lists bring your silver merged.esp as a Master yet I don't see any reference to that esp in the CR subguide. Why would it be a master then?. Basic ? I know sorry. Thanks -

Hi all, I have a Sep 4 stable build using the CR V 1.25. I'm tempted to move forward with the new AAE but don't want to update the guide elsewhere in order to use the CR V1.28. Would I encounter issues going about things in this manner? Uninstall previous AAE and Sirjesto's Patch Merge. Install new AAE V2.0 normal and Sirjesto's updated patch merge Uninstall BYOS and merge. EDIT conflict resolution to remove all references to BYOS. Does the CR V1.25 only reference the older AAE v1.51 or am I able to "cheat" the process and run the old CR v1.25 with the new AAE 2.0 ? -

Hi, when you say hiding the file do you mean deleting it from that mod? Then does DynDoLod have to be run again? -

@Kareemamr50 - back in Nov 15 I put together an SRLE game under WIN10 with the specs I have listed and well... naturally I thought it had to my install or something I screwed up. The game was playable but the stutter was rough and I just dealt with it. I read about the WIN10 4g cap and it dawned on me why my stutter and fps drop was so bad. I had some issues creating a WIN7 dual platform but was lucky enough to have an IT pro help me out. I JUST finished SRLE EXT LoTD install last night (who who!) and the game runs smooth as butter. I fluctuate high 30s to 50s where I tested it ( whiterun tundra) but there was no stutter. So basically the long and short of it... do WIN7 -

Install Skyrim Flora Overhaul 2.5b - No grass + SFO Billboards for v2.5b (updated) (This is optional. If you like SFO 2.5b grass you can use the one installed in SRLE Base) Skyrim Flora Overhaul Billboards As per the SEP 4 complete guide it's advised to install SFO Billboards for v2.5b but the integration guide shows it in red - which indicates it's to be removed. Should that be switched to green ? -

Hello all - I'm recreating the LOTD Patches Merged because I'm excluding More Interesting Loot. Using LOTD'd fomod it looks like I have all the selections correct but my question is about PrvtI_HeavyArmory.esp. It shows in optional and with all the other patch esps. It's also not in Sirjesto's list of merged patches. It's correct to delete this esp? I see it's a part of CCOR Heavy armory v.2.4B.02 anyway. Just looking for confirmation: I've been installing by the book (up to Aug 29's changes) and haven't made any adjustments - other than now removing More Interesting Loot. Thanks -

SRLE Extended LoTD ICH patch 50 apophysis question
Quahogs replied to Quahogs's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I think it's finally sinking in. At the end of the day I have: Can someone confirm? Thanks Improved closedfaced helmets - patches - SRLE extended LoTD meshes actors dragonpriest character assets / *.nif files armors dragonpriesthelms/ *.nif (127 unique files) dlc02 armor / etc etc... ICH_____.esp ICH_____.esp ICH_____.esp -
Ok, so if I'm adding the meshes folder from 50 Apophysis/ to Improved closedfaced helmets - Patches - SRLE extended LoTD -> am I adding unique content from the 50 Apophysis/meshes folder or am I REPLACING the meshes folder that exists in Improved closedfaced helmets - Patches - SLRE extended LoTD in total ? If anyone can guide me to what they're file structure looks like it'd be a big help. Thanks.

Sorry this tool is still quite new to me... As I imagine in this scenario - A mod was updated from 2.0 to 2.01. That mod was a part of a 5 mod/esp merge. All 5 of those mods are now inactive in MO's left hand pane and the new MERGED MOD is active with it's new esp. Would my procedure be: 1. delete the newly created Merged Mod. 2. re-activate all 5 mods 3. install the new updated mod to 2.01 4. follow NEO/DARTH merge instructions from scratch again. Thanks all

As long it's ok with NEO I don't mind helping here... That's probably one of the creepier encounters I've had in Skyrim but I didn't uncover any quest involving it. It did serve as cover during certain attacks but I appreciated that the mod author had some strange loose ends. -

I was able to head back to the island after the initial quest. As I recall he on the boat...maybe Immersive Citizens or Wet and Cold has him ducking inside somewhere (if the weather's bad)? -

Installing the latest SRLE and am wondering what happened to Real Shelter? -
Why I'm having problems installing WIN7 on my new rig? Drivers not installing... need to get a techie to figure it out. I can only take it so far... I thought I was in great shape with 980Ti 6g VRAM and new PC... I loaded up SRLE with the top textures for everthing... I played for 6 months or so and learned to live with the stuttering and drops into the 30 FPS. I didn't realize until recently why.
-
Probably not There are a lot of variables behind a smooth running of SRLE+LoTD. I myself am installing a SRLE+SRLE LoTD extended. If you are using WIN10 then your are capped at 4g VRAM. If you choose all 1k textures and the performance options that'd be your best bet. I'm hoping to run everything on WIN7 in order to extend my VRAM beyond 4g but am having problems with that install... seems my new hardware and old OS aren't seeing eye to eye...

Bearing that in mind (reinstalling mods with a lower texture) for example I'm installing both NOBLE 2k and performance and running 2k initially. If I need to pare back to Noble performance would I have to run DYNDOLOD again? -
Oh I did lol, but running into a snag. "Windows installation cannot continue because a required driver could not be installed" I get that early during the 2d step of the installation. I have an ASUS x99A MB and added the SATA driver but I can't decipher the setupact.log file to figure out what driver can't be installed :O_o: . But if you say you notice a world of difference running SRLE LoTD fully modded on WIN7 well then I think I need to keep swinging...

WILL MO carry over from WIN10 to WIN7?
Quahogs replied to Quahogs's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
@dunc001 thanks for the confirmation. What a great tool MO is. Now if I can ever figure out the driver issue for WIN7... -
I have a workable MO setup on my WIN10 platform. If I create a WIN7 dual boot scenario will it be as easy as copying the MO dir to the new WIN 7 partition (assuming I install all the appropriate programs SKYRIM etc in the same place they exist on WIN10) Can it be that simple? I basically want to go ahead and keep modding in WIN10 without having to recreate everyting once I ever get a dual WIN7 boot in place. Thanks

Congrats Darth and Lexy. Life's about to treble in fun and stress! lol -
I'm totally torn. I want to get the SRLE LoTD build moving but I've been having a bear of a time creating the WIN7 boot partition. I basically gave up last night and was going to move ahead with just WIN10. Now I'm not so sure again. I hate having the 980Ti 6GB go to waste like that.
-
Thanks for the input. Performance monitor has me pinned around 4124mb running around outside in Morthal (but I did load up on 4K during my last SRLE build). I never really bothered to check vram usage since I always thought I was at a minimum using 6GB plus whatever RAM I added on with ENB. I finally realized the other day that my WIN10 VRAM usage is capped - which explains my stuttering and FPS drop. I guess I just want the option to push the rig. I've never compared side by side 2K to 4K but other than the FPS drop and too frequent stutter the game looks great. That and a new SRLE LoTD build makes me want to open the VRAM gate!

I'll make a note of this thanks Joat_Mon. This will be my 1st attempt at creating a dual boot platform. As typical I'll spare no expense and effort for beloved Skyrim
