Excellent. I saw you are running Pure Weather too with CoT. It seems that on Pure Weather's page that they're not compatible. I assume you have had no problems or is there some patching someplace that needs to be done. What does Pureweather bring that CoT doesn't ? -

I'm finally getting around to installing this great pack (this close to a playthru ll so can't wait for Etac's 13 patches and such :-) ) and at some point I had D/L ETaC v12.0 complete but the ETaC complete patches I have is v 12.1. Will this be an issue ? 12.1 is no longer available on the Nexus. Thanks for this Pack ! -
@Faylon, You just need to take a leap of faith :-) It's not easy that's for certain. I'm in the middle of a REQ build myself customizing STEP and SR to my own liking. Haven't hit REGS yet but will. Try to stick with the mods Azirok has patches for. Read SMILE's great REQ Pack thread - in there are load orders from smart people who have things working correctly. Also go to Azirok's patch central. He has a load order in there himself. . You'll then get a feel for where the patches should be loaded. Learn BUM if you don't know it - that's the key to having the plug-ins slotted correctly I'm almost to the point of having all my mods in place - next step will be learning TES5edit and what I should be doing with the bashed patch: which boxes I should be checking, level list or no level list ? Talk about confusing. But one step at a time. In a perfect world SR would have a REQ overhaul and all we'd have to do is follow instructions. That's not the case however so we have no choice but to roll up our sleeves :-)

@supra, Yes I have the updated v1.61 patch dated aug 17. Could it be as simple as not activating or installing the 2 esp's that are missing the masters ? Should I just install the Requiem - Improved Closedfaced Helmets Legendary Patch.esp ?

@smile First off thanks for all your work and support on the packs you've put out. There's no way I'd be able to get close to the game I want without these great packs ! I'm wondering what I have to do to fix this... I've installed Improved closed faced helmets and Weapons and Armor fixes remade where now the the Weap and Armor fixes_remade.esp replaces all of the Improved Helmet esp's. Now when I install the Requeim - closed faced helmets patch the esp's from the patch are looking for missing masters --> imp_helm.esp , imp_helm_dawn.esp and imp_helm_dbrn.esp. Those 3 esp's were rolled into the weapons and armor fixes_remade.esp. Just don't know where to turn here. Thanks

Smile, All those Quest mods and REGS world additions drew me in... eventually causing me to abandon my playthru. But that's cool, world was a bit empty anyway. It looks like I'll have my plate full as is (Helgen Reborn looks great ) besides 3NPC, Falk,Wyrm,Moon DB and DG are new to me anyway. I'm all stocked up :-) Thanks for the advice.

Smile, thanks for all your hard work with this pack. My question pertains to REGS in a way 1) do you think it's wise to avoid the non Azirok patched Quest mods in REGS while employing the Requiem Overhaul ? They may work I suppose but I don't want to venture forth in any of those if there will be vast imbalances. I can "save" them for another non-REQ playthrough. 2) In your opinion which non patched Quest mod(s) MAY be ok while using REQ ? 3) Azirok mentioned not running a bashed patch - if I go this route (and just stick with the mods he has patched) what kind of downside am I looking at ? I have no idea what I'd be affecting by skipping this step. Thanks !

So you mean keep the 1.0.7 MO as is but just copy the archive.dll file over from 1.2.8 ?

Hello, I have a stable skyrim using MO 1.0.7 but am now looking to incorporate some PACKS and need to upgrade to 1.2.8, From what I read my old version was too far away from the latest so I needed to do a manual install/upgrade. I have the new version 1.2.8 installed in the same directory 1.0.7 is located (I'm currently on vaca away from my pc and cant list the exact root dir but it's where it's supposed to be :-) ) My question is : 1) I don't have room on my SSD to download all the mods again under 1.2.8 so I moved the MODS directory from under 1.0.7 to under 1.2.8. Will I be frigging things up with a new game by doing this ? I was able to copy a profile over and all "looks" well but... Is this the correct way to migrate from 1.0.7 to 1.2.8 while trying to use the same profiles ? thank you

@Smile - case closed. Did the upgrade to 1.73 incorrectly. Hopefully that's my only mistake LOL . "Once more unto the breach, dear friends..." Off I go, script/spawn lite but World heavy... locking down MO, level 100 here I come

What a knucklehead. Did the upgrade to 1.73 wrong. Chances of me getting to level 80 with my setup? about 1.73%... -
@Smile. Â Thanks. Â Actually I had AS unchecked since I didn't need it for the Vanilla start. Â I did come across a similar issue on the REQ board involving a Tullius floating head and the response was missing files and to re-install. Â I guess I can try that. Â The readme bitbucket for REQ also mentions characters with invisible armor (Ulfric's Dragon Knight armor?) can indicate an issue when updating. Â I never did update though I just installed the latest anyway. Â Is Ulfric stationed in Windhelm? Â I have yet to have any kind of major playthrough so I'm not sure. Â I can test this thru AS and seeif he's invisible in Windhelm too. Â

@Smile or other Requiem players. Since I just read where game changing mods can play havok with the opening sequence(carriage ride, and my issue is Ulfric's and Tullius invisible bodies-just heads and hands show) has anyone here started Requiem that way or mainly just through Alternate Start? Truthfully I prefer Alternate Start but wanted to cut down on 1 less scripted mod. Now I'm worried that if I use AS that the invisible body issue is a precursor to issues down the road... any thoughts ?

No to Civil War but yes to Requiem.  I have the latest aMidiianborn book of silence armors but I unchecked that and there was no change.  Only NPC's I have is Inconsequential NPC's,  Aela  and Hoth.   I thought it must be a texture mod at first which is why I didnt include my mod list but I'm showing it now.  I had been testing gameplay with Alternate Start but decided to forgo that for a vanilla start and after a month of fixing - bang!  The invisible man.  Great.  === Current Bash Tags: -
Starting a new playthrough and during the carriage ride Ulfric next to me has no body, just a head and his hands. Â After we stop the head bobs along and eventually meets Tullius' head which is just floating too. Â All other characters are fine. Â I googled this but nothing came up. Â I tried removing certain texture mods and such but nothing is doing the trick. Â Anybody see something like this before? Â Under what hood should I be looking ? Â Thanks

Thanks for the info. I will look at ELE again this evening. BOSS had it before ELFX but then I read it should be after so that's where I parked it. However I don't know what kind of conflicts they present. I am curious about water transparency. Is there a way to tweak where you CAN'T see the fish from where you're standing on the shore? My old ENB was like that too (I use RW2). Thanks.

Well I found a home! Thanks for all your hard work Aiyen. It really straddles the perfect blend of vibrancy (blue skies, green lush) yet maintains realism (not cartoon colors). Night is smooth black without looking like black gauze is covering the landscape. I was able to tweak the GUI inside a mine to the darkness I preferred - took 2 seconds. I don't know, are other ENB's this easy to modify? What's best is the customer support! :-) For what I'm paying I demand nothing less ;-) I have 2 questions for you. 1. I dropped a DoF file in there (just love the effect). I had to overwrite your file enbeffectprepass.fx to do it. Will that affect your ENB in some capacity ? 2. Is not using ELE a game breaker? I was testing the game and had issues entering Windhelm or loading a game right in front of Windhelm's door (black screen or ILS). Since it was the only mod I added prior to everything working with my old ENB - when I removed ELE I had no issues. It was late so I didn't attempt the reversal to see if it holds true. What am I losing not installing ELE if it really is creating an issue I can't resolve? The one interior I visited look fine by me without it. Thanks

@jmike, I read somewhere that there's a conflict between Safety Load and Elysmeminfo. Possibly on the elysmeminfo boards but I can't double check from work. The two combined will cause CTD's from what I recall so you have to go with one or the other. -

Just a follow up on this problem. I blew up my old mod list and profile and worked hard at streamlining everything. It's now Requiem based with zero additional spawns(creatures or W/Armor) with only Frostfall RN&D,Alternate Start, EFF and some companion mods as my only gameplay adds. Going very vanilla to create a hopeful long play through. Added Wrym and Falsk too. About to set out and wanted to test Windhelm again and sure enough - bam. Same freeze crossing the bridge. It took a little bit but I finally figured it out! It was SMIM v1.49. Maybe the old v.conflicted with something, maybe a file was corrupt. No idea but testing without it and with the new 1.59 v in place I'm able to cross the bridge. Again and again. Finally :-) -
Skyrim only. If you are using the latest updates did you use the latest v.(1.97.1) of Nvidia Inspector to create the Skyrim profile ?
