  2. Hey I've been here awhile but I wanted to formally introduce myself. I'll only picked up modding after switching to Windows and finally being able to play modded Bethesda games. After months of trying and failing I think I have enough knowledge to give back.
  3. Am I crazy or was there a disparity-Caco patch? I remember their being one last week but i can't find it anywhere!
  4. The pistol thing is weird because the mod records are thier it's just not applying them. I guess I could reinstall project Nevada from a manual download or because of that radio but I could do a total reset. I really hope I don't have to do a total reset.
  5. The .22 pistol mods exist but arn't able to be applied. It's always the little things that get you. Also the console isn't working but that's neither here nor there
  6. I was about to grouse about weapon mods not working...but then I realized I had forgotten to put bashtahs on wmx and project Nevada and thier patches! Then I was going to grouse that the mods still didn't work but now I'm pretty sure that even if the plugins are all the same that re bashing that significant probably needs a new save. Am I wrong on the issue of leveled list and weapon mod changes
  7. Good news everyone the pink hands issue goes away after reloading so I'm finally solid. I thought that radio repair in good springs was going haywire but the I remembered that I touched the saloon radio before you were supposed to and even vanilla wouldn't like that
  8. OK serious question why are all my black people stuck with pink hands! Its so hard to deal with these little things I guess it has something to do with roberts mod maybe but its the worst. And I can't get mator smash to work at all!

  10. I'm happily able to report that I've been able to have both cows and posters work without flickering hardcore so far though its only been at night...
  11. I've decided to test of merge of all the advanced recon and detect trap assets possible to see if it all works. My goals is to get down to the 90 plugins or so with extras and see if can actually be a stable game. If it can then I think it will be helpful in some way...besides being able to actually play the thing for the first time in 3 months. I may accidentally be making this a blog thing but my search for perfection drives me to write these notes on this terminal... [Mushroom cloud explodes] I can only hope my loot eons from now is of use.
  12. Aww I'm glad I'm doing an install right now to switch! Better performance = yes Unrelated but in previous installs the nmc medium texture pack has mostly worked except for a lot of annoying flickering (the thing that sticks out most is during a bad install where the sky be and a 101 jumpsuit!) I have more than enough vram and all the memory stuff so what's the explanation? The Flickering vault 101 texture replacing parts of buildings makes me think that the vaultsuit is some kind of rolling over Texture that pops up when the game is having trouble rendering something. I've never installed it throughn nmm only manual so maybe that will make a difference? Interestingly objects are fine but walls buildings and Windows flickered like a bug zapper. If not I could go to small but I would feel like a putz. You know I was thinking that once I finally have a stable enough load order and some actual playtime under my belt that maybe I could make a little sub pack or something for a set of cool little mods I've found. Probably call it just the little things or something like that. Thoughts. Sorry for babbleing a bit...

  15. I know this is a bit old but my condolences. I'm on round 6 (or 9 depending on how you count) and nothing is quite as frustrating as a total wipe.
  16. If this can be confirmed to work (which it should it) would be quite a boon. Funny I was also doing some tinkering and thinking the same thing at least for things like merged compatibility patches for PN, EVE, WMX and stuff. You know when I first got into this modding scene I thought I could get in and out in a week or two. Now I'm seriously considering get fully on board the testing train. Even fiddling with xedit a bit.

  18. OK I have what may be a dumb question. When you complete a Smash do you still need the plugins that it's made out of in your load order? I have to imagine so, but maybe you don't need the patch plugins anymore? With wyre bash you can remove certain mods when you have the bashed patch completed. Is this at all similar?
  19. It's weird that I'm pumped about this but the increased bash tag coverage is hype.
