Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Neovalen replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Totally agree and this one killed my system twice before I figured out which update killed me. My original install and then again after a clean reinstall. Hid the update this last time and my PC is running again. -

That ESP / optional was removed from the guide, so yes. You should just need the custom esp I provided in the improved closefaced helmets install. -
Do you feel there is enough salt?
Neovalen replied to Crazy_San's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
i think there is, at least I never seem to be in a shortage. Especially if I turn on the food scarcity option in iNeed. It replaces some of the random food you find in barrels, etc with salt. -

Its right. You do not need to add the HRDLC lines as they are just textures. The reason the DLCs need to be added is because they contain scripts nifs and other game assets not found in any other bsa. I haven't personally had a reloading problems (in fact the save i took that screenshot from is under the roof). Haven't had a sound cutoff either but I expect there to be minor things like that... still an amazing mod and very useful. The biggest thing for me was making sure the transitions were smooth and not overly jarring as they were in old versions. I love the mod. P.S. I have PerMa installed and working on my current setup... P.P.S. I think the world is conspiring against me! AC:Unity just released... BF4 Expansion Nov 18... DA:I Nov 17 9pm... Far Cry 4 Nov 18... NOT ENOUGH TIME! lol -

Nope, and its now removed. Yes. I know, I'm hoping MM re-uploads with his new name soonish. My copy is now fixed. Sorry for the slow updates of late guys... I've been sick about 3 weeks now plus finished Shadow of Mordor which I got cheap. AC:Unity released with Far Cry and DA:Inquisition coming up very soon. Busy times! In any case, I'm working on re-upping my PerMa install with the release version + patches... we shall see how the final version fares. -

Blah, yeah go ahead will fix my copy tonight. :) -
The thing with PerMa is it pretty much "locks you in" once you start a game. The patch on long load orders can take a full hour to run. Keep this in mind if you like adding or changing things often.

No problems over and above the vanilla skyrim issues (water ripples flickering). Problems with ENB from what I've found are with xfire not SLI. Nvidia in general is having some driver issues of late (the 900 series is mainly affected since we can't use previous drivers) but I'm sure they will work out.

Do you think Hunterborn will be added to SR:LE?
Neovalen replied to Crazy_San's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I have it installed now that it finally supports Dragonborn. Need to use it more before I can say if it makes the cut. :) -
Its there. :) https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition#Skyrim.ini_2

Lost Legends is modified by TCIY so when you read it you must select "Investigate Further" to the pop up window. Since you said your not getting the pop up window I'd check in TES5Edit for that book and make sure everything is merged properly.

Do you have any overlays installed such as Afterburner, etc?

This will be great for LOD compatibility between mods that do also. :D -
Upgrading to GTX 970 but CPU from an i5 to an i7? Is it worth it?
Neovalen replied to acindron's question in General Skyrim LE Support
The 3570k is just fine, its what I have and no issues. I have mine over clocked of course, so if anything if your running stock invest in a good cooler and pump up your existing. P.S. 3570k is Ivy Bridge. -
ELEP - Full Vanilla Customizable ENB (by JawZ)
Neovalen replied to TechAngel85's topic in Post Processing
Lanterns of Skyrim default preset is red to match Morrowind. That is by design and cannot be fixed by ENB, select a preset. -

I went with the SLI 970s (obviously) and chose the Gigabyte because they are simply the best out there for temps and base over clock. Single card 980 is good too, especially if you still game at 1080p. I game at 1600p so for me the extra SLI power helps and being able to get 2 at a 700 price point is a steal vs a single 980 at 550. 2 970s definitely have the price/performance crown ATM. As far as motherboards go I've had ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI boards in the past... The Gigabyte by far was the smoothest install but read reviews and research before choosing, its one part you don't want to skimp on. All of those manufacturers make quality parts. As for STEP mods, I think I've gone through the list and chose what I wanted, did you have a mod in particular you were curious about? -
