  5. Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking a dedicated "update" section is probably better than a bunch of notes around the guide. I'll see what I can do in the next week or so. Did you guys try low? Did you use Skyrim Distance Overhaul / Skyfalls before DynDOLOD without issues? Doesn't hurt to be there, but for consistency sake I should remove it. :) Did the resulting tree lod from DynDOLOD work ok? I know some people complained about color issues with aspens.
  6. I don't think the VRAM has anything to do with it, just simple processing power. Likely both CPU and GPU.
  7. The dying at the inn, simply jump further right. Problem is the fire actually hurts now. :) As for Frostfall, it depends on the randomly selected weather how fast you freeze to death. Basic prisoner rags leaves a lot of exposed skin. I suggest waiting until the keep to activate so you have a decent set of gear.
  8. I'm using a single 980 4gb myself, 45 fps min on high.
  9. Blur != Pixelation. When draw distance is high it's basically stretching your shadows resulting in pixelation, blur looks much cleaner. That being said, I cannot confirm or deny his recommendations just figured I'd share them for the curious as they sound rational.

  12. You can (I think), don't see the point though as they won't affect anything being there or not. Well, except if you need to update for any reason, then it's an extra step to remember reactivating.
  13. Phew... alright, I think I have DynDOLOD integrated into the guide now. Advanced users please take a run through and let me know how I did with the explanation, hopefully nothing got missed too bad. Here is the changes in a nutshell: * Updated TES5Edit to SVN Version 1930. * Added PapyrusUtil (New Section - "Resource Mods" just below unofficial patches) * Added TES5LODGen (New Section - "Resource Mods" just below unofficial patches) * Added DynDOLOD (New Section - Dynamic LOD at the top of "The World of Skyrim") * Updated Skyrim Flora Overhaul to 2.1 * Removed Realistic Aspen Trees for now (SFO 2.1 Version Not Available + No Up To Date Billboards For DynDOLOD) * Removed Skyfalls and Skymills (No Longer Required) * Removed The Skyrim Distance Overhaul (No Longer Required) * Removed Vivid Landscapes SDO/Skymills Patch (No Longer Required) * Removed B0D1C Conflict Resolution (No Longer Required) * Added "TES5Edit Scripts" subsection to the "All Good Things Must Come To An End" section. Two subsections, one for Real Shelter and one for DynDOLOD for script instructions. Obviously moved the script instructions from the real shelter mod to here. * Updated a few notices around the guide. Phew... exhausted. :)
  14. Here are some nice preliminary screenshots for those interested. Introducing SR:LE with the added power of DynDOLOD. All shots done with standard uGrids=5 and normal SR:LE ini tweaking. P.S. Dont mind the widgets and such, was just a test character. :D
  15. Yep, got it installed and checking it all the new stuff out now. So far, I like it a lot. :) I have a family BBQ to go to in a short bit, I will likely make my recommendation / add it to the guide tonight. DynDOLOD might also make its appearance.
  16. Tools is near the top of the guide. As for ICH to none that was inside the WAF installer iirc.
  17. mteFunctions.pas should be from the Merge Script in the tools section. The one in Real Shelter is out of date. The hot fix is to make it work properly with the updated mteFunctions.
  18. Yes, there will be (currently) 3 dropped mods assuming I did everything right. Going to test results in a few hours. Setup wasn't too bad to do, writeup will suck though. I'll check out the changes. As for the In Testing list, I could perhaps make it a forum sticky. With my limited time it might be helpful to get more inputs from adventurous types.
  19. Someone reported an installer problem on the forum here. I'm not home to check so reverted until I can. As far as the mods, they are on the short list for tests. Edit: Looks like the installer problem was MO Beta issue, so will reinstate my change when I get home. On another note, I have DynDOLOD on the test bench right now. :)
  20. I assume at some point the SFO 2.1 Billboards will be uploaded to the TES5LODGen nexus presence? For some reason EssArrBee's copy.com link doesn't work for me... just brings up a blank page with a sign in area. I don't need to create an account to get them no? Edit: Turns out the link posted a few pages back in the forum is wrong, the actual "fixed" link is: https://copy.com/CDdyCBKnSDWvLbIm Trying to get this setup in my user area for an eventual SR:LE update... depending on results of course. Edit2: Looks like RAT doesn't have proper billboards yet for 3.0 version, even then its not SFO 2.1 compatible yet... so gonna drop RAT for this test run.
  21. All taken account for in the guide, and half of the text here is flat wrong as it pertains to SRLE.
  22. 1.3.4 of MO Beta was just posted, as an FYI. Maybe fixes this issue.
  23. For anyone who uses some mods that aren't supported with the current mesh packs, SlothAbility recently posted a huge bunch of packs here. He is also taking requests for new packs.
  24. Yeah, I know. Hoping RAT updates it's lod soon.
  25. Don't have a need right now, we'll see when Witcher 3 comes around.
