I believe I use a Hyper 212 Evo in my system. There are plenty of good options out there.

XCOM Long War mod is pretty damn good, though I haven't played in quite awhile. Games recently played (no particular order): * Battlefield 4 * Battlefield: Hardline * The Witcher (Modded) * Dragon Age: Inquisition Once Witcher 3 comes out I imagine it will basically replace all of the above until I finish it. Then later in the year, Star Wars Battlefront will scratch the multiplayer itch. Planning to get GTA:V once it hits the bargain bin since I already own it on PS3.

Glad to see you here on STEP and your work back up on Nexus. That is a classy move on your part. I was going nuts trying to figure out what to do without your mods... /relief.

I overclock everything when I buy it... is it absolutely needed? No. Do I enjoy getting the best possible performance for my dollar? Yes. 99.9% of the time I will replace my hardware before overclocking ever becomes an issue so there is only upsides in my experience. :) If you do it right, it is also as 24/7 stable as a non over clocked system.

Unfamiliar with his work, but still sucks to see yet another one go. Doubt it will be the last, unfortunately.

This game can now be had for as little as $45 which isn't bad, however I wouldn't have time to play it anyway between modding, battlefield, and the upcoming Witcher 3. Played about 35% of the game on console when it first released, but I got tired of console.

Unfortunately for me, this whole paid mod in Skyrim thing got me distracted. I don't think I'm personally going to have enough play time to finish before Witcher 3 release.

Another author down, this does not look good. Hopefully he will come back eventually.

Seeing the petition with 27 signatures in 22 hours is what's got me down.

That blows, he had great work. :(

Normally I would use something like this but with Mod Organizers save game tools I don't need to.

The content is not up to my quality standards. If it gets a makeover like Immersive Armors did then it may get included. -
wanted Donate Button/Link for Mods in MO?
Neovalen replied to z929669's question in Mod Organizer Support
You can add feature requests on the MO bug tracker. Don't think one exists yet, but not 100% on that. -
I just left this note on his thread. "Thank you for releasing this even though you didn't have to do so and for your past work. Despite me being against the paywall system I was never against the authors themselves. I'm sorry you got burned, it was undeserved and good luck in the future. Let is hope this is a learning opportunity for the community to be more supportive of its contributors."

Purity by Laast Purity was previously a paid mod on the Steam Workshop. Laast decided to release this updated compilation on the Nexus (a classy move, imo) in thanks for the outpouring of support from some community members but this will be his final work for Skyrim. Think what you will about the paywall, it's the authors who got burned by this fiasco and that's the saddest part of this whole thing. I can tell he is hurt from the tone of the description. If someone wants to move this as a stand alone thread in the mod area please do, I cannot set a prefix on Tapatalk.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Posted a bug report over at the Mod Organizer Bug Genie: https://issue.tannin.eu/tbg/modorganizer/issues/1150 Looks like the internal installer is incapable of overwriting an already installed file or something to that effect (at least with the DSR installer). External installer works OK. Will keep you guys informed. i.e. Folder 000 Base Mod is installed first, it contains a meshes/weapons/imperial folder with ImperialSwordLeft.nif and ImperialSwordSheath.nif with weapon straps. This is from the "Patcher and Base Mods" option. Folder 000 Base Mod - On Back Meshes is installed later, it contains a meshes/weapons/imperial folder with ImperialSwordLeft.nif and ImperialSwordSheath.nif without weapon straps. This is from the "YES" to the "Swords on Back" option. Using external installer - the final result shows the nifs without weapon straps. (as you'd expect) Using internal installer - the final result shows the nifs with weapon straps. (doh!). Also reported that auto detection isn't working. Unfortunately, I am unable to completely ascertain how many mods this has affected and kicking myself for not seeing it sooner. Edit: Found a workaround by adding priorities to vanilla replacers. Will be uploading the fix tommorow night (Don't have time to do it tonight). Tannin should still look at it though. -
I know there a teabagging joke in there somewhere... "I used to be a modder like you, then I took Gabens teabag to the knee." Yep.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Told ya so! Checking out Alpha 4 today. Yep, talking to Will on steam as we speak actually. -
I sincerely hope not, things will heal over time. Some will be lost, but hopefully not all.

This is the best outcome, for now. Time will tell, but I hope they do appear with a donate button. Perhaps once Nexus adds new donation features. Nexus is still relaxing the rules on donations, so still a plus. Hopefully this was a wake up call for people to be more appreciative and donate, but doubtful. I'm sure there will be, but not likely for Skyrim in particular. Maybe FO4 or TES6. Judging just from my donation inbox, likely not. First day had a very small flurry of donators, second day almost none, since then absolute zero and I don't expect that to change. I can't speak for anyone else ofc but it was interesting to watch.

Speaking of entertaining, check this one out. The mod review video is absolutely hilarious and made my laugh out loud. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65187

That's even worse than I was imagining.
