I've been using CoverKhajiits for quite some time, it makes the furry critters so much more lifelike. It almost looks like real fur. Should have been that way from the start. As for Argonians... yeah I don't care for them as much anymore. They almost seem like an "inconvenience" for modders, someone needs to take a good hard look at them. Unfortunately adding joints and such isn't easy as they share the skeleton with Khajiits.

It looks like the patch moves it to where SMIM meshes look... directory structure is a little different. Textures\smim\clutter\ instead of Textures\clutter

Well, I just installed it. As far as I can tell it just added the Dawnguard.esm file (BOSS already updated, Wrye reports missing localization files) and the Skyrim version is still 1.7.7 ... -

I'll have to try it again but I'm fairly sure with my 2 card SLI setup that disabling one of the cards didn't drop my FPS... (even though usage monitor on Precision says 60-90% for the second card when I run in SLI mode).

Yeah Skyrim doesn't even bother to use the potential of a second video card and it causes bugs (HDR disabled and Water Ripple Bug) unless Stereo 3d is enabled. (no-one knows why) I really love my 2nd video card for just about everything else but Skyrim definitely not. That is a Bethesda patch I would kill for...

Hrm looking at the result it seems BDR makes it so the passage of time is not so aparent (objects appear newer/not worn) whereas SkyrimHD/SRO/etc you have installed before leaves it more worn looking. I can't decide which I like better... Dwemer architecture stand up more over time or less...

The USKP is in an odd state right now. 1. Yes USKP 1.0 for 1.5 will work again, dialog works fine. 2. Yes USKP 1.05c for 1.6 will work also and has more fixes than 1.5 (minus all the dialog stuff). So it's dialog fixes one way, other gameplay bugs fixed the other... until we get 1.05d or 1.1 from Arthmoor.

Problem after deactivation of Sound of Skyrim mods

How to fix the problem regularly: Â Â Reinstall SoS mods and load save prior to save bloat. Follow the procedure detailed in this post to properly remove. You can TRY to do the same loading up the bloated save but I think your screwed tbh... As to why you'd want to uninstall these beauties is another story altogether. There is NO BLOAT unless you uninstall them improperly. -
Sounds of Skyrim was hidden due to errors found when uninstalling the mod. Source I'm not 100% sure why he did that as it works fine otherwise. Users have come up with a safe uninstall procedure here. Personally I still use all three of the SoS series of mods without any issue. Not sure about the other one.

How do I know what is a mod and what is a vanilla error/information? For example, with my custom STEP install (no additional mods) this is what I see during the cart ride to Helgen when I start a new game. Trying to of course minimize the # of errors. I've found a few posts that say timescale change is OK for questing, etc until it goes below 5... after that it starts getting a little wonky. I'm worried about it so I'll probably just leave the default but I really hate it. lol

Hey guys, Has anyone played with changing the timescale in Skyrim? Is it safe to use to a certain point? I'm finding the days to go by too fast while playing the game it's really breaking my immersion factor. I set the timescale to 6 and what a difference... Seems about right game time vs real time. Took ~1 hour game time to go from Helgen to Riverwood and talk to Gerdur. That would be 6 game minutes for every rl minute. I just need to know if it's safe or not in the long term.

Perhaps this is what he is referring to as Texture Popping? I consider this one of my pet peeves with Skyrim as it occurs so close to the player. Just toggle between the two pictures and that is literally how it looks in game... This is base SRO only, not a full STEP install with default Ultra INI files. Note that it is only the wall in the center of the frame that has the issue, the other foliage on the walls don't have it... This happens on a variety of textures, but figured I'd point this one out as blatantly obvious.
