Neovalen replied to Tetran's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
LOVE it, just started using this in my own playthroughs. Must have imo. -
SKYRIMLE Wheat height/Chicken egg/Whiterun ligh Fix
Neovalen replied to auroreb's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Hoping CoT will be updated for Dawnguard soonish as I'm using the DLC for my "real" playthrough. As a note for future STEP, CoT causes minor issues with Dawnguard. "This mod breaks Blood Sun (Dawnguard) weather. It's supposed to hold the whole daytime, but this mod circles around weathers, so the effect of sun blocking stays, but the visuals dont. Ive got sun shining away, but people still going "Ohh, where did the sun go?" Quite funny, actually." In any case, getting back on point for this set of mods recommended I agree with all the above posters. -
Hope life picks you back up friend and we'll see you again before too long. Thanks again for all the excellent work and I'll definitely be using what is currently in the TPC for the foreseeable future.

None of the above, get a 4GB GTX 670 SLI system. Thats what I run and it eats the game alive with 60+fps with everything turned up and full ENB @ 1080p. In Surround with a good optimized ENB can keep up with doing ~40-45fps but there are UI issues and the fix (flawlesswidescreen.org) causes minor shadow irritation. SLI doesn't do much in the base game but ENB does take advantage of it. There are a few minor issues but as long as you can overlook a little water shimmer you'll be fine. Also if you play other games, I can't recommend SLI enough on those. Just my humble opinion after fighting with the game for quite awhile. :) The 4GB VRAM is especially nice is surround where I've 3+ Gigs of usage.

Oh I no doubt have more to add to the list, but looks like your plate is pretty full. I'll give you a rev or 2 before dropping the full list on ya. Since I saw some related mods on your list I'll mention these two: If your going to look at SLOD you should also look at Radiant and Unique Potions and Poisons. If your going to look at Elaborate Textiles and Clothing Improvement HD, you should also look at 2x clothing re-mix. Now I'll leave ye be. :)

Link: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16791 I hadn't seen anyone mention this mod(did a quick search), but I think it looks great and may be STEP-worthy. Putting this forward as something to evaluate as it sticks to the vanilla style while making them look good.
-
Cestral, Hope I'm not intruding too much by asking but what mods are you evaluating for 1.6? I'd love to see things like Redefined Dungeons, Riften HQ Textures, and other larger STEP mods be included in your mashup or at least evaluated. I know you've already been looking at including WATER.

I like the replacement of the flowers to heather, that looks like a nice change. Though I'm just looking at the screenshot, haven't checked in game yet.

Interpreting Papyrus Logs

I'm guessing Vanilla bug... doubting very much the USKP touching something related to Iron Arrows. Could disable USKP and give it a try, just don't save. -
Skyrim fails to load a save that uses > 2GB RAM
Neovalen replied to Nyven's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Not sure on that, I've had my VRAM go over 3000MB before while fully modded... without issue or stutter. -
Well, I compared Tobe's non-SMIM version since the SMIM version was a patch. I didn't know if it affected all of the textures or not. (hence why I had a note above it). :) Glad to hear there are no further errors. :)

As another note for you Cestral: Vurt just updated AGAIN now version 1.3 of Skyrim Flora Overhaul: == What's new in v1.3 ? == Yellow and Blue flowers is replaced with Heather which imo looks more natural for this type of climate. Reverted back to an older version of the common green grass which, after comparing back and forth, looks superior to the newer. 2 New ferns The new roots are now in the correct folder "Missing" files compared to TPC 1.51: Textures\architecture\whiterun\wrtreedeadbark01_NRM.dds Textures\landscape\grass\fieldgrassobj01.dds Textures\landscape\grass\jkkkk.dds Textures\landscape\grass\snowgrass02.dds Textures\landscape\trees\treeaspenbarkcomp_N .dds

SRO: Vurts Skyrim Flora Overhaul: High Quality Food and Ingredients: Tobes Highres Textures (probably related to SMIM patch): Trees HD Skyrim Variation: PP Windhelm HD2K: PP Solitude HD2K: PP Whiterun HD2K: Skyrim HD - 2K Textures: PP Markath: PP Solitude SRO: PP Whiterun SRO: PP Windhelm SRO: I omitted some that are "configurable" like Visible Windows / SMIM as it would obviously have missing files depending on configuration. Also omitted any txt or documentation stuff.
-
Thanks for the response Cestral! I'll go ahead and install these then as well. When I get a chance I'll also post any "missing" items from other mods also to see if they are also bugs.
-
My only concern doing it this way is files that were intentionally omitted will be installed. For example with TPC 1.51, the following files are not installed from ruins clutter improvement and no other mod in the TPC overrides these (found in the "missing" tab in Wrye Bash): meshes\clutter\silver\silvercandlestick01.nif meshes\clutter\silver\silvercandlestick02.nif meshes\clutter\silver\silvercandlestick03.nif meshes\clutter\sovngarde\sovcandlestick01.nif meshes\clutter\sovngarde\sovcandlestick01static.nif meshes\clutter\sovngarde\sovcandlestick02.nif meshes\clutter\sovngarde\sovcandlestick02static.nif meshes\clutter\sovngarde\sovcandlestick03.nif meshes\clutter\sovngarde\sovcandlestick03static.nif meshes\dungeons\dwemer\levers\ruinslever01\dwelever01.nif meshes\dungeons\dwemer\levers\ruinslever02\dwelever02.nif I'm not sure the reason for the omission of these particular items (cestral would have to say) but installing RuinsClutterImprovement then installing TPC would put these in when cestral obviously didn't think they looked right. The STEP crew may have a differing viewpoint and that is totally valid too just figured I'd point this out that there will be hangers on like this with that methodology.
-
Well, hopefully when it comes back up the issues will be solved. :)
-
Is Nexus completely down right now? I keep getting connection reset.
-
@cestral Good job on the TPC, it makes me wonder if I should follow my old STEP install or use it instead/supplement... lol. Made a full install version of TPC 1.5... so hard to decide without seeing it all together. I know TC has been looking at your work, see him posting in your comments section... makes me wonder if it'll be the next base or not. :)
-
I believe that feature along with WATER is scheduled for 1.6 Farlo.
-
Well, Dimon99 declared UNP finished as of 1.51 so not entirely sure what needs to be supported once a body is finished. Any changes as of this point would just cause issues with already built armor and cause confusion.
-
Feel free to Nitpick. It stops the directory thrashing.
-
Remove the space between the = and the path and it should work fine. Mine for example is: sOblivionMods=D:\Games Misc\Skyrim\Mods sBashModData=D:\Games Misc\Skyrim\Mods\Bash Mod Data sInstallersData=D:\Games Misc\Skyrim\Mods\Bash Installers\Bash
-
Definetely going to give TPC a try very soon, may as well do it now since I have a clean install going. :)
-
Dark0ne is looking into it as several premium members have also complained with similar issues. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/117-feedback-suggestions-and-questions/
