  1. I do like the idea of faster arrows at least. I do feel that the arrows always felt a big slow.
  2. Ok. As long as I will get the intended effects :-). I just don't understand exactly what the best approach is. Hopefuly the STEP guide will be written to explain it to me :-). That's why I love you guys. So speaking of STEP guides....when is 2.2.9 launching?
  3. Makes sense. Thanks. What about the decision to switch from COMPLETE WAF to COMPLETE PLUS WAF?
  4. Ok, I understand that but it doesn't seeml ike i'm getting an answer to my question. what I'm asking though...is even though it may seem that I'm doing something the long way, is what I listed above ALSO a correct way of getting these two mods to work OR am I doing it incorrectly?
  5. Two questions: 1.) Since when, and why, does STEP now recommend the COMPLETE PLUS version. I think it used to say to install the COMPLETE version. 2.) Why doesn't it say to install the optional Amidianborn Skyforge Weapons Patch in the instructions in the guide?
  6. So what I'm doing is correct then, right? Yes, the WAF versions do overwrite the Improved Closedfaced ones Im' pretty sure. But my way works? I don't understand how to do what you are saying to simplify it so until the STEP guide is re-written in a way that makes sense to me, this is the way I will do it, assuming it's correct.
  7. And why aren't we using the WAF amidianborn skyforge weapons optional? and I thought STEP used to say to use the COMPLETE version, not the COMPLETE PLUS version. I hate these mods. They confuse me :-(. I thought I had this locked down but everytime someone posts in this thread, I get confused again. I have done the following. Can you tell me if this is right? 1.) Installed WAF COMPLETE Version 2.) Installed optional WAF GDO file and placed AFTER GDO 3.) Installed optional WAF Skyforge Amidianborn Optional File and placed AFTER amidianborn files 4.) Downloaded the Improved Closefaced Helmets WAF file (but didn't install yet) 5.) Installed Improved Closefaced Helmets 6.) Installed Improved Closefaced helmets Dragonborn 7.) Installed Improved Closefaced Helmets Dawnguard 8.) Installed optional no cloth around the neck file 9.) NOW I INSTALLED the WAF improved closefaced helmets files. I did NOT use legendary file. I installed each .esp separate. I installed "imp_helm, imp dragonborn or whatever it's called, imp dawnguard or whatever it's called, and imp_helm_imp (which is the no cloth around the neck file, right?) 10.) I did NOT install imp_guard_helm (which is tighter eyeholes and not recommended by step) Sorry for the long explanation but is this correct?
  8. 1.)I really don't understand the confusion here. This is taken from the readme: LEGENDARY EDITION I have also included a combined "Legendary" version of Improved Closefaced Helmets. This file requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn, and replaces imp_helm, imp_helm_dawn, and imp_help_dbrn. The changes from the two optional files (imp_guard_helm and imp_helm_imp) are not included in this combined file. If you want either of these options, then simply install those files after Improved Closefaced Helmets_Legendary.esp. Are we saying that the author made a mistake and actually DID include those two optionals? I personally don't use the legendary file. I use all of the individual ones so I don't have to worry about issues like this. Does step recommend the tighter eye hole option or no? (i think it's imp_guard_helm.esp) 2.) Also, the note for "weapon and armor fixes' doesn't say anything about the optional amidianborn skyforge patch. Do we not need that anymore? 3.) And since when did we switch from the 'Complete' version of WAF to the 'Complete Plus version'?
  9. That point is valid I suppose. Perhaps it is just my PERSONAL view (and therefore, not really important since each individual is entitled to do what they enjoy) but I find something a bit strange and immature (and ESPECIALLY LORE-BREAKING) about turning these games into Pornos. I mean, it takes place in a fictional middle-age fantasy world. Violence is obviously going to be part of the atmosphere. I mean, wars have always existed, but making the characters into supermodels and unrealistically jacked men....kinda hard for me (again, personal view) to take the game seriously with those types of changes. Also, as a 24 year old guy who (sorry, not trying to sound pretentious here) who gets laid on a pretty regular basis and watches porn pretty regularly too, it seems like a huge step back to "get off" to fake video game boobs. Just my two cents. Again, to each his own. I just PERSONALLY don't get it and I obviously don't think this stuff belongs anywhere near STEP (in the guide I mean, obviously they're welcome on the forums as far as I'm concerned)..
  10. Am I the only one who's completely satisfied with the vanilla body shapes? Why would you want to make Skyrim look like a fantasy porno? If I want to watch porn, I'll watch a freaking porn with real human beings. I don't play Skyrim to get off....I don't understand this stuff. EDIT: Maybe I'm missing something. I apologize if I am. I just see all these mods with screenshots of naked girls and unrealistically jacked dudes. Do these mods have other features that are useful besides making people look like pornstars naked?
  11. CJ, do you know if BOSS sorts all the patches correctly yet for version 2.0?
  12. Ohhh. Ok so I don't use CharGen Morphs and I never downloaded that separate precache killer file....so I can just uninstall RaceMenu and install the new version, right? Also....the new version has the precache killer built into it? Why did you say to delete it in SKSE? And that's awesome. I never knew you could change your race/facialfeatures whenever you wanted to.
  13. I'm confused. What is Chargen Morphs and Precache killer? I only installed the main file last time. It also always dumps some mesh crap into my overwrite folder whenever I play Skyrim. I usually just empy the overwrite folder on a regular basis after I play.
  14. Can I safely update this by uninstalling the old version and installing this one?
  15. I've actually been holding off on updating AOS because I don't feel like having to sort all of the patches manually or in BUM. Hopefully they're all in the BOSS database by now.
  16. Most likely Tech support or find the mod in the thread analogy section. Usually this section is for suggesting new mods.
  17. Why is this posted in 'Mods'?
  18. So leaving it at 512 would be the best?
  19. Yea, I'm not using CoT with Serenity either. I doubt it'll look any better. Serenity looks beautiful with vanilla weather. Yea, I'm very interested to see how RW2 Ripples compares to Real Rain Ripples. Also, yea, also curious about ENB Rain vs Real Rain vs ENB Rain + Real Rain. I'm looking forward to your findings. I won't be home until the weekend so I can't test this out myself :-/.
  20. Hm, I've never noticed anything like that before...is it only in that location?
  21. I was under the impression that reservedmemorysizemb should be set to either 256 or 512. Just for reference, I have 8gb of System Ram and 4gb of VRAM.
  22. I was not aware of that. One of those things I just never saw. Thanks CJ.
  23. Would you mind posting your findings here about which is better? Also, do you know if the Real Rain Ripple file is better than RW2? Does it even conflict with RW2?
  24. You should put the changelog somewhere on the nexus page as well as in the download!!! :-). Mod looks awesome though.
