  1. I actually had that happen to me once, it was caused by deadly dragons and another mod interacting that I never was able to trace. It begs the questions are you running deadly dragons?
  2. Glad he made that, that's who I got the idea of dropping the .fx files from Strange that nobody else reporting loss of AA but you guys, you got great eyes to notice right away
  3. Its just a vanilla shadows only implementation, without the fx files you won't get any additional processing besides just the shadows.
  4. I am using the latest version with just this ini. Delete all other enb files except just the d3d9.dll and than save the following as enbseries.ini
  5. Do you have AA set with the nvidia inspector? ENB shouldn't be able to override that, I can't even run AA so I'm a useless tester :(
  6. It was supposed to be out already in 2.1.1b I thought
  7. Why divide by three? From Hardware Guide "A note about SLI/Crossfire and multi-GPU cards Each GPU in a system must have its own dedicated VRAM that is not shareable, additionally in order for GPU's to work together they need to have access to exactly the same resources. What this means is that for multi-gpu configurations (whether its several different cards or multiple chips on a single card) all VRAM memory must be mirrored, so if you add up your total VRAM and divide by the number of GPU's you get your functional dedicated VRAM. All the extra VRAM for each additional GPU makes absolutely no performance difference whatsoever, it is entirely utilized to make the GPU's able to work together seamlessly. So lets say you have just spent $1620 for 3 HD 7970's in Crossfire, what you would expect is that your games will now have 9GB of VRAM available to them, in reality you are still limited to 3GB and the other 6GB is utilized entirely to make the other GPU's compatible."
  8. yep great info there, particularly for running skyrim on a wimpy laptop, endorsed
  9. Thanks for this stopping, btw what are your enb settings? are you just using the default ini and fx settings?
  10. that will happen if you don't have the skyrim profile checked, bsa format is different for each game.
  11. It may have been fixed by a patch or the USKP and torminator is experiencing something new, but clearly it doesn't seem to be step related if noone else has it.
  12. You can also launch tesv.exe with the +fullproc switch. That forces the use of all cores.
  13. I assume it made coding the NPC AI easier or maybe they just wanted the player to never run out of arrows, there are a bunch of mods that will fix this if you wish.
  14. that doesn't fix the ctd problems though. thats a vanilla feature with the arrows and is working as intended.
  15. Theres only one safe way to alter your ugrids, launch the game then tab out and edit your ini, tab back in open console and refreshini. Any other way leads to ctd and savegame corruption.
  16. The saves should be completely clean lvl 1 with no quests done (even helgen) running only the dlc and USKP. Just turn on god mod and coc to each location. Should be done by people that have already to completed the game so as not to spoil it. Every city, at least 3 locations: player home, outside the gates, and a high point of the city giving a good view with the most different textures. Every major dungeon: in the final cavern, other unique areas. as well as all the above. Look for locations that have great line of sight and represent the unique textures of the area.
  17. There have been 7 revisions of 109beta, he never changed the name though, the latest includes ati support.
  18. Thanks for the link, it may be true because all the testing I have seen was done well before beth turned on the optimizations and I haven't seen any since. We will have to conduct our own tests to verify this. It also jives with my own personal experience with pc games, but skyrim was created for console which I know nothing about, I do know that directx9 is not particularly gpu optimized so that may be the issue as well. As it stands all the available performance data shows that GPU use goes down in heavily shadowed areas while CPU use goes up. If you have the time please post your cpu-z and gpu-z results for us to examine. stopping
  19. Yep I just install sro second instead of first as well.
  20. Please post your source for this information.
  21. @angry, shadows are entirely cpu bound I just downloaded this to test, my gpu is far better than cpu so it will likely be a huge improvement. I am hoping the the in development enb 110 (with post-processing shadows) in combination with this will revolutionize my skyrim experience.
  22. Thanks we are thinking of using a version of that one for the STEP pdf and possibly the bbs. If you are bored you can add the sword from the logo above to make a new header logo.
  23. Awe that's too bad, best rain mod by far. I'm learning papyrus so one of these days I'll able to solve these kinds of issues.
  24. Thats it for today, but we will be reskinning the wiki soon so we may need some help with a background texture and header and sidebar textures and possibly some buttons.
  25. It was in the last version of STEP and hotfixed out because of a conflict with rlwc, no reason not to put it back in now.
