    For the majority aMidianborn looks the best suited, only in some odd places that change the vanilla style, otherwise those interior walls/floors are nice improvements. SRO seems to apply noise and is no longer used to justify people unpacking. VL looks strange without ENBs and brown colours. Perhaps a mix-match with aMidianborn and Vanilla HD is the best option? edit: The outside walls look quite bad imo, forts are meant to be strong buildings made with large stones. aMidianborn uses many small stones that would've taken ages to build and seems impractical. I can understand the hassle it takes to review such changes.

    Dwemer retextures are lacking it seems in STEP (and Nexus). This one isn't too bad, worth the bump.

    bump* This is another one vs Book of Silence, that matches the vanilla style better. It also helps having the missing DLC retextures included, unavailable by BOS. edit: The other difference between this and BOS, as mentioned, the BOS makes the Falmer look "mean" where-as this emphasis their blindness. I don't think the Falmer are ment to be looking mean.

    adding more retextures by Gamwich would be a nice improvement. i.e. -standing stones, -strong box, -word walls, -revamped alchemy lab, + map etc. (all his clutter). - Azuras Star - Business Ledger - Ramccoid's AIO Little Things - Spider Egg Retexture - Green Egg, are also worth checking other textures for horses, death hound, waterfalls, wearwolfs.

    could you not request permission then to include this in the STEP compilation? It would help in the newer STEP to compile as many of these small retextures as possible.
