Been using this one since it first popped up on Nexus. :D As crazy as it may sound, use the standard-res instead of the high-res one. The "lesser quality" one blends better. The hi-res is.. funky.

Hey! Welcome to Here. :D

Woooooooooooooooooww. I knew I was forgetting something huge. I haven't updated my drivers in a long time. <__< >____> Heh heh heh... Thanks for the reminder. And heads up of new drivers. I, too, am a beta driver advocate. Or was... before I forgot all about it.

I'm of the mindset that we should wait a bit before putting it in STEP. While it's great, it is admitted by the author that it is not complete. If it were included in STEP, there should be a note added that it's still a Work In Progress and advise that people should occasionally check for updates.

DROPPED High Realistic Tundra Moss for AOF (by Aron)

It's evil! Burn it!! BURN IT!!! -
So... Will IHUD make it back into STEP again since its update (9 November 2012)? :P It's pretty awesome and I've had no real problems with it. It's even more awesome with MCM from SkyUI 3.0 Alpha. :D

I was actually just thinking about how bleh the moss was last night while playing. There's quite the amount of rocks in Skyrim and personally I think this mod fits rather well as in the screenshots it looks great. I'll be trying this out then. -

SKYRIMLE Possibly The Most Realistic Rocks and Mountains in Skyrim

I was thinking the same thing, techangel. Maybe good for ES VII though. :D -
Epic moments in Skyrim

XMFD I especially enjoyed Nazeem getting what was coming to him. -
Yeah, he still pops in from time to time. He helped the fellow out who did another mod that's in STEP (one of two I suggested and are still in STEP to this day), which was the Projectile Soul Trap mod. :) The other was Clams Drop Pearls. Still wondering what's up with the Better Docks suggestion I made. :P

Better Magic is pretty awesome, been using it for a long while. It's basically a vanilla enhancement without much addition at all, which pretty much fits STEPs philosophy very well on top of fixing severe issues with magic and making schools other than Destruction have worth.

ACCEPTED Better Dialogue Controls (by ecirbaf)
Sairven replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Hmm. Maybe it's something else then. I was fiddling around in a Dawnguard area at the time (Soul Cairn. I CTD in that place so much :|). Wait.. I don't have Alpha 6. Hmm. Maybe that's it? -

While I can say that the mod works, it has some weird issues when used with SkyUI or/and iHUD, I believe. When I went to save, I was faced with everything in the menu saying CONTENT LOADING. When things started to pop back in, nothing was clickable. I love what the mod does, but not at the expense of my ability to save/load/quit/etc. Just a warning to those who use SkyUI or/and iHUD. -
Here is my number one Skyrim modding tip: 80% of the issues you might face can be solved by doing a "clean save. A clean save is very (ridiculously to be completely honest XD) easy to do: -Load up game -Make a New Save -Load the New Save -Done, time to play! It sounds very simple, and it is. But it's one of those small things that go a long way in fixing an issue you might be having. Example: I recently discovered an issue with Immersive Hud ( https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3222 ) where the Compass Toggle Key would not work. A clean save fixes the problem permanently for that character through all saves. Edit: Thought of another. It's all ready been stated but honestly it can't be stated enough: SAVE OFTEN. For the love of the Nine Divines, save often. A Crash To Desktop (CTD) can happen at any time. Usually it decides it wants to happen at the worst possible moments. Another tip: Don't be afraid of making new saves. Actually, I encourage it. Making new saves protects against save corruption. You can easily get rid of your humongous excess of extra saves by going to: C:\Users\(Your user name)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves Just try not to delete your important saves! Luckily, the format of the save can help determine what character and when the save happened, just in case.

I need a new Survival/Realism mod. :(
Sairven replied to Sairven's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Yeah, I agree. I think Notch (Minecraft creator) said it best: You have to find the balance between realism and fun. Those calorie counting mods go too far towards the realism side of that scale (for me, anyway :D). -
Wayfarer makes me nostalgia for Morrowind. It seems to level as you do things (move, jump, kill things, get hit, gather ingredients, etc). It also gives you protection/bonuses against various things (diseases, cold, enemy types, etc) and increases move speed outdoors. Someone else will have to do a review on it as I had to deactivate SkyRe before I got that far with it (only lvl 48 wayfaring). :(
