  1. Thank you very much for the fast answer! Ill continue checking the nexus on forum! Once again tks and good job!
  2. Great guide! Thank you so much. i think its the first time ive had a fallout 4 moded experience without crashing to desktop every 30 minutes! Started two days ago ( from nexus) have 15 hours played and all goes really well ( even with the 187 plugins installed, going against your advice here ;) ) and added just a small mod to hack terminals) Instructions were clear, just skipped the 2 nvidia steps ( ATI here ). My only question is regarding loot. What is the best way to just order esm's and leve the esp alone. Wasnt able to find any info online about this and would like to add a mod or two aditionaly! great work and thanks again!
  3. Found a small guide in reedit, ill might try later in the night: Untested: HOW TO RUN ENDERAL FROM MO - THE EASY WAY! This assumes that you already have a Skyrim install with mods (and are using MO which leaves the original Skyrim install untouched) and you don't want to lose those settings and mods. Step 1: Rename Skyrim folder to _Skyrim Step 2: Make an identical copy of _Skyrim in the same folder, rename it Skyrim and use Steam to verify the integrity of the files (I do it this way just to make sure my working Skyrim install will be saved with no surprises) Step 3: Run the Enderal installer, which needs Steam open btw, and go through all steps & run all updates Step 4: from this fresh install of Enderal, adjust your settings which will write to the files in My Documents called skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini and boot up Enderal to make sure it all works Step 5: close Enderal and use WinRAR to make an archive of the Data folder - I call mine Enderal.rar Step 6: copy Enderal.rar to the downloads folder in MO and start up MO Step 7: under downloads you will see Enderal.rar - double click to install it - select manual - right click on the data folder to set it as the directory to use Step 8: create a profile for Enderal (no Archive Invalidation is necessary) and copy the text from skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini using the ini editor Step 9: check the box for only Enderal on the left side - on the right side under plugins make sure that skyrim.esm and update.esm are the only choices selected, under archives select ALL Enderal .bsa files (they all start with EEN) + update.bsa + all .bsa files that begin with "Skyrim" including Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa - DO NOT select any of the DLC or HighRes texture pack .bsa files Step 10: run the game using the SKSE loader (this assume you have already setup Skyrim Script Extender) Step 11: enjoy To switch profiles just change the profile and make sure your skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini are correct (they get saved per profile) That's it! I kept my _Skyrim folder because Enderal will be receiving constant updates - to update, just rename to Skyrim and run the Enderal launcher which will update the files - then copy and paste the newly patched Data folder and overwrite it under the mods>Enderal folder in MO
  4. Tks! That easy? I was worried after reading this topic: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/11146-enderal-english-version-is-out/?hl=%2Benderal&do=findComment&comment=177813 Ive started the download wile I get the courage to install it hehehe
  5. I have a stable step extended plus a few extra mods instaled. Does anyone know of a guide, tutorial, to set up an Enderal install, but without screwing up Step and maybe have both instaled? I dont want to risk losing my current set up and will give priority to Step if there is no simple way to have both ! Tks
  6. That was a very fast reply, tks! And BTW, I take this chance to thnk you for this wonderfull guide! I've been following it for the past two/three years, mainly during my vacations every year ( i keep doing a full F&L install every year, after a full extended skyrim install (done) , but never have the time to do a complete gameplay hehehe) and what keeps me coming is this always updated guide. Even with F4, I always have the urge to return to FNV. Again, thank you step team for step and essarrbee for F&L!
  7. I´ve used the new Caliberx version, and used the weapons.of.the.new.Millennia.store.LITE.esp and WotNM-CalXVer5-Patch.esp from the patches new file. So far so good and it all looks like its working. I was in doubt if should use the leveled lists esp also, but since the last version didn't have one, I skipped it. Are there any benefits in using it under the F&L guide?
  8. After a question that I placed in another topic, Neboulous112 adviced me to give BhetIni a try! never thought it could give me such good results with such little effort. To keep things short, im currently playing with a recent i5k, oc'd to 4.4, r9 290 3Gb, 8Gb ram and step extended with a few other mods installed in a HDD. ( no Enb -just speedhack and without Dyndolod - have to repeat instalation steps - geeting a ILS when loading ) Step guide is getting better and easier to follow and I applied all the Ini seettings and tweaks on the guide. Was really happy with the results, set it up on ultra, but, in certain situations I would get bellow 20 fps ( some open spaces and in whiterun on top of the castle looking at the citie. This is still a recent save) After the BhetIni "treatment", I get solid 55/60 fps on high settings and between 27/32 fps on ultra in the same places, so this is for sure a big, big improvement! Another thing I noticed is that the shadows look softer and cleaner and th overall look of the game is sharper. So, in conclusion, DoubleYou, this is an amazing tool, thank you for your efforts on this! And if the " see you in a month" means you are on vacations... Hope the sun is hot and the weather good! Hehehe
  9. WOW, im just amazed! Dont want to continue to clutter this topic and I will post in the Bethini topic ( to say thank you to the author) , but i never thought a few clicks could get me such an improvement in fps while maintaining the same visual quality! Some stuff, like shadows even got better and softer. Neboulous, very good advice you gave me! Tks
  10. nebulous, tks for the fast reply! I will definitly give bethini a try folowing your instructions!
  11. Im sorry to continue the off topic, but this got me worried... Ive got a full extended setup with a few other mods ( tks btw to all you that worked for this amazing moding guide). Doesnt the step guide refer specificaly to set this value to 200 in the ini settings guide? Should i reduce mine? Ive got a recent i5k at 4.4 speed with a r9 290 and 8gb ram and was trying to reduce some visual settings to get some more fps because sometimes i get around 20fps in outdoor areas or cities.
