  1. That's a very good point, was considering downloading it but that's a dealbreaker for me I believe.
  2. Yes ofcourse, still interesting to test it on different computers though. :)
  3. Tested on workcomputer which has better cpu than my homecomputer but much, much worse GPU. 13.99fps, so thats 1.3fps higher than my homecomputer. Annoying! :) i7-930 @2.80Ghz 6GB ram ATI 5770 gpu, 1gb ram
  4. I tried setting it to =2, and there was no difference as far as I could tell. Will try -1 aswell when I get home tonight, hardly had any time at all yesterday sadly.
  5. Haven't tried that no, can do. Also sometimes -1 seems to work for some of the tweaks. But yeah, there's a LOT of 'tweaks' you can add to the ini's that do absolutely nada.
  6. I tried that option and didn't have it do anything at all sadly
  7. Been using this mod some time (I used WAC in Oblivion so was quick to grab this when it was ported). The weapons are, ofcourse, very very nice. The issue with the current version is that they are sadly too common. Pretty much every bandit you'll face will drop 1 or 2 of them, which is why I'm holding off on it til changes to its level-lists are made.
  8. Already let him know about it as I posted this here yesterday. :) (I am ztrathego on nexus forums)
  9. Just noticed that after copying all the planar-textures from Skyrim - Textures.bsa that I mentioned (black.dds, green.dds, gray.dds etc) rather than using the optimized versions the "hot irons" at the forge in Whiterun is no longer purple. Turns out it was using black.dds, and are now black rather than purple. So the solution above fixes that aswell apparently. :)
  10. I'd say yes, I just about max out my VRAM (1280mb) when using 1024 versions.
  11. Hmm, meminfo can show VRAM aswell? I only get it to show fps, RAM usage and pagefile size And yes, the uncapper is indeed great, just as it was for Oblivion. :)
  12. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=12026 Do note that this (and the other mods I'll recommend by same author) does have some compatibility issues with certain mods. I have them working fine by now however after deleting some housing mods and Moonpath to Elsweyr, but others may not necessarily have issues with those. Highly recommended anyway!
  13. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=12024 This mod is also great together with the Live Another Life - Alternate Start mod option to start as a Vigilant of Stendarr, and the Vigilent of Stendarr Quests mod which makes them a joinable faction and adds other quests to them aswell (it has been made compatible with No Mercy) Do note that this (and the other mods I'll recommend by same author) does have some compatibility issues with certain mods. I have them working fine by now however after deleting some housing mods and Moonpath to Elsweyr, but others may not necessarily have issues with those. Highly recommended anyway!

Another note about this particular quest-mod is that if you use any other of his questmods, this one needs to load before the others. BOSS currently does not sort it that way.
  16. Don't forget your nifty dwarven mechanical equipment whilst braving the railroad!
  17. Sorry if you pointed this out in the guide (watching football ((soccer)) atm so can't go through it all currently!) but if you didn't, you should mention that there are some SLIGHT issues with using DDSOPT on the default textures. First, we have the hotiron01.dds (.../clutter/common) that will show up as purple, non-textured, in the forge in Whiterun, even if it works in all other places. No known solution to this, even replacing with the original non-DDSOPT version of that particular texture doesn't help. Very, very strange. Besides that, there's another two textures that shows up purple aswell after using ddsopt, but that are very tiny and thus hard to spot at first, which is ..\textures\gray.dds and ..\textures\default_n.dds. They are the "nails" in certain crates. Result can be shown here below on the bottom crate, even if it might be hard to tell from that screenshot. I believe DDSOPT considered gray.dds a planar-texture and thus improperly changed it's format etc, and after that it didn't work properly. Solution: Copy the original gray.dds and default_n.dds from the original BSA, and it will work just fine. Edit: Updated path to gray.dds and default_n.dds, they are not under clutter but directly under textures. Sorry for the confusion. To be safe I copied all the textures that are located under the root-dir in the Skyrim - Textures.bsa into it's own 7z that I install via WB, as all those files (black.dds, green.dds etc etc) are considered planar textures and get their format changed by DDSOPT to what appears be an incorrect format. They're all extremely tiny anyway, so would be no performance gained either way (1kb by default).
  18. From author: Yes, the name of the mod(s) is a bit misleading, which made me not bothering even to check any of them out, until very recently. What I thought was another mod that would make town inhabitants wear skimpy clothing, was infact some quite nice re-textures of the villages and cities (although not of the same high quality as for example SRO, but for those who prefer this type of palette it is a good choice) of Skyrim that among other things make them more colourful, but without overdoing it at all, in my opinion. It just makes them feel... less depressing. Also, one could argue that this is more what actual medieval cities would look like, as they were often quite colourful. I'm sure it's not something for everyone though, and I doubt I'll be using them myself other than for testing - but they're worth having a look at, and I might use some of the textures. (Some of the new windows especially are very, very nice). There are several mods released so far in this 'series': Sexy Villages and Towns - (Any town/village that uses the Farmhouse texture-set) Sexy Windhelm Sexy Winterhold College Sexy Whiterun Sexy Riften Sexy Solitude Other than these, there is also a "sexified" version of boats that I find very nice: Sexy Boats [video=youtube]http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCDgE_d3fls&feature=player_embedded#
  19. Jealous :) I had 12,61 in that test Intel Core i5-760 @ 2.80Ghz, 4GB ram with GeForce GTX 560-Ti (1280mb)
  20. Holymartyr: For ENB there is an injector version, rather than the standard wrapper, that works (was designed especially for) Optimus.
  21. Sadly doesn't work with RCRN, even if you use ENB aswell as then you need the proxy lib for the RCRN d3d9.dll. I believe they were working on implementing it instead of using FXAA for a later version together with the creator of the SMAA injector, but were waiting on v1.3 (apparently the current one is unstable) however so possibly I'll get to try it out eventually. :)
  22. Me likey. A lot. Any ETA on when we can expect this? ;)
  23. Aye, the few such mods that I've tried all had patches available already so didn't see it as an issue at all. There are links from the page to recommended mods for adding more food and such aswell.
  24. Oh right, forgot to mention that cloaks from Winter is Coming or Cloaks of Skyrim, they work excellent for keeping you warmer when using this mod. :)
  25. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9778 Yet another excellent mod for immersion that adds tons of new animals, foods, ingredients, diseases etc. There's also AI changes for wildlife in general. It has a compatability patch availble to work perfectly with Imps More Complex Needs, and there is a No-Food version available aswell if you simply want the rest. It does conflict with a few mods, namely Wars in Skyrim and the Hunter.esp from Skyrim Monster Mod. There's a few other minor conflicts aswell that won't cause any crashes or anything, it's all mentioned on the description page. Personally I use neither of those so haven't been an issue, and I find it to be an excellent addition to my load order.
