  1. Learning curve on this one is high, but worth it. Now for the 'dummy' moment, I made the incorrect assumption that the textures shown in the meshes displayed in NifSkope were somehow stored alongside the the *.nif, and not in the textures BSA. Duh. Now as I look again the path displayed in the *.nif does show the correct location of the texture, I was just thrown by it because it is used by a number of different meshes with different uses and the 'restaurant' sign is just a minor one.
  2. Maybe these...?! DogHouse Diaries Comic
  3. There's three ways to move that BSA to the correct position, at the top of the list. (that is why AI isn't working) Open 'Settings' -- 'Workarounds' and uncheck "Force-enable game files" Move all the other BSAs to a position lower than the AI BSA in the 'Archives' tab Manually edit the 'archives.txt' in the active profile folderThe 1.3.7 version has fixed this, at least I can't replicate this anymore. Are you sure you have 1.3.7? EDIT: Thanks @oqhansoloqo for pointing out an error in my description. It is the 'Archives' tab, not the 'Data' tab.
  4. Is it possible to select a texture from a *.nif and then export that texture? I've found a spelling error in one of the vanilla meshes and went looking for it in the textures BSAs only to realise it was actually a mesh! I'm fairly sure the mistake isn't intentional, ie. a spelling error to reflect the post-apocalyptic world. It is the poster for the Gourmand restaurant in the Ultra-Luxe Casino, restaurant is spelled: restaurnt You can, if you are so inclined, check it by examining the formID 0017262e.
  5. Ahh, Nozzer. That was so refreshingly funny. Not sure about all the results, my money was on Cass over Clover, but that maybe because we are currently wondering the Mojave together! Raul running away though is right on the money.
  6. Version 1.3.7 fixes all the issues with AI.
  7. I agree with you on the dialogue changes. I reckon it has a lot to do with the fact the game now has a voiced protagonist and the limited options available for console gamers. Since they can only access A, B, X & Y, or whatever the keys are, the choices are limited and condensing the text choices places more emphasis on actually listening to the 13000 lines of dialogue for each character. Bethesda has obviously invested heavily in that area and they want users to 'use it'. Apparently there are two voices for each gender so paying voice actors for all that work and not seeing it used extensively in game would be a bummer, if I was the developer.
  8. Where did you get the INIs from? Is it the default game settings or have you found one on the internet somewhere? @Tannin, MO's author, made an extensive search earlier this year and found a number of settings are incorrectly placed. If the warning is there then it is probably in the wrong INI.
  9. Well if that is the case, the new profile would have pulled the INIs from the games defaults in your 'My Documents' folder and used those as a base. If there are no active mods in the profile and the problem still exists logically the fault is in those INIs. Clear out any trash that may be left over from your ENB and get Steam to verify your files and then run the game from the launcher to set the new default INIs and work from there. All new profiles MO creates will be based on these newly generated INIs. With this clean slate of a profile add in each section of the guide and double check the settings as you go. With the later versions of MO there isn't as great a need to extract the BSAs, though you can if you wish. Actually on BSAs, check in the 'Archives' tab that each of them is actually checked and that you have MO managing them, and Archive Invalidation is working properly. The AI BSA should be listed first in the list.
  10. I'd like to help with that if I may. This UIO oddity is something we need to get a handle on and the more systems we try it with I think we may cover as many options as possible. Just to clue you in again, that grenade icon issue I fixed with the copy of the Darn menu has, for reasons unknown to me, returned. No changes to mods or load order just another session with a save that had the fix in it. Checking the files reveals the files I expect to be there, are and it all should just... work.
  11. Your MO for a Fallout 3 game is installed in a folder under Skyrim?! Glad you can now at least play Fallout 3.
  12. Might I suggest you try using @Kelmych's guide instead. That is not only a list of mods to use but also a preferred order to load them that will likely fix a lot of the errors you see. I have also moved this post to a more suitable location. It isn't really an MO issue.
  13. It would be nice to know which MO version you are running also. I would create a brand new profile, not a copy of an existing one, and with no mods active try to start FNV. Any issues you face then will be down to a corrupt set of INIs.
  14. For all you 'not-so-impressed-with-Fallout' gamers, you also get Fallout3 when you purchase Fallout4, according to the XBox E3 event. So dip your toes in the rich Fallout universe based on the guides here and once you're hooked, step up into the latest edition.
  15. If you mean this folder: Mod Organizer\mods\UIO - User Interface Organizer\menus\main, no, these are populated at runtime. On the other hand if you mean this folder: Mod Organizer\mods\UIO - User Interface Organizer\uio\private\menus\main, then there is a problem. Though I imagine you mean the former in which case all is good. Your 'Overwrite' folder though should contain at least some empty folders after each run. Are you absolutely sure you have NVSE installed correctly and also have the UIO plugin installed? You should see ui_organizer.dll in the 'Data' tab listed in the NVSE -> Plugins folder.
  16. I would use 1.3.7. The issues are minor, such as the AI not listing its BSA correctly, and can be fixed very easily. But... do so only if you wish to contribute to the debugging process. We ask that those that mention issues stick with it to verify the fixes.
  17. Wow, just watched the E3 presentation by Bethesda, fantastic. They've been working on Fallout 4 since 2009 and have changed the look/play to match what users are wanting now. I wont mention everthing, but a couple of the features that I like are: layered armour system companion commands builtin completely logical crafting system based on many options ability to modify all your weapons and armour Next-gen Creation engineAvailable November 10th this year. Or get your free "Fallout Shelter" game for your phone now.
  18. The 1.3.x series, at least from 1.3.4 onward, don't have the BSA issue of the past. You can safely enable all the BSAs you like.
  19. The exe in the 'Exes' folder is created by FNV4GB on each run. As mentioned above, you can't have two files with the same name in the same folder, removing the ./FalloutMO.exe switch means the patcher must place the patched FalloutNV.exe elsewhere. Pointing to that exe will not work. Clear out your 'logs' folder in the MO directory and run FNV from MO. Post any and all logs here so we can see what is and isn't being hooked and loaded. Make sure you try to run it from the FNV4GB option with the profile containing the mods.
  20. Actually it might be both Fallouts and the Oblivion version.
  21. The OP sounds to me more like a scripting error or something. It may be Danica is currently engaged in a script run that can't be interrupted by initiating a conversation. Or another mod has inadvertently taken over her dialog choices and caused her to be in the state she is.
  22. You said you can load a saved game, which mods are active in that? According to your INI, you haven't modified any of the basic executables, such as NVSE or FalloutNV, they appear at the top of that list with basic settings. Can you modify one of them by actually going into the 'Binary' field and selecting the corresponding exe and then select it, even if it is the same as in the field. Also if the 'Start in' field is filled, try removing it and see what change, if any, that makes. These are to be considered 'out-of-left-field' ideas, as so far nothing else is working.
  23. Ahh, I see you still have that laaexe switch. I can't see what version you are running and I assumed one of the 1.3.x series. Since 1.3.4 that switch is no longer needed and you can just run the FNV4GB program. Further to @Kelmych's line of thought, what happens when you start the game from the NVSE launcher or just the default game? Do the mods get loaded then? If they do perhaps there is a problem with FNV4GB and your drive setup? I see the games are on a Z drive. Is this a network attached drive or any other software configured asset?
