  1. Hi I have issues with this on win 7. I have tried to understand this for two hour now and installed and uninstalled Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 4 several times with no luck so far. Im running win 7 64bit and here is what I have done so far: 1. Uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable 2. Downloaded and installed Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 4 3. But when I try to run the commanded: corflags /32bit+ F:/Steam2/SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Papyrus Compiler/PapyrusCompiler.exe this happen: 'corflags' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. And when I check folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\bin\NETFX 4.0 Tools" the only files is: sn.exe sn.exe.config Is this right? Anyway, I see that zilav posted a zip files with config files. This seem to good to be true, but can I just skip the whole corflag command and just unzip this files? Thanks for any help.
  2. Thanks for the tips it worked great.
  3. Yeah I see that you also write it in the guide...sry...I shall check better next time... Edit: I saw that I was wrong so I deleted the post but then you had already replied so...too late...I put it back again so others can see the connection ;)
  4. Hi I have just started on your awesome guide :D Just a quick feedback: In the guide it says: Merge Plugins TES5Edit Script v1.9.5 But i can only find 1.9, but I can be blind.
  5. Im looking forward to try this out when it is finished. In my opinion WAO and SS is just great and really needed. ENB is great and demanding but I would love to use it. Anyway there is some options to ENB but I dont know how good they are: I Cant Believe Its NOT An ENB: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48554/? Some suggestions for other mods: wonders of weather? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64941/? Real clouds: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39450/? Cheers
  6. I use steam worskhop but after I have downloaded the files I move the files and unsubscribe from the workshop. The way steam autoupdate things and that there is no mod organization make steam a death-trap for mod users.
  7. Mods is not made by professionals and there is bugs and conflicts between mods that will make it impossible to use a mod with certain other mods. And will it be patches to fix issues and what about customer service? Because of this facts I think mods work best with a donation system like there is on Nexus site. To make it into a paid product will create many issues and possible conflicts with consumer laws. But in the end it is up to the producer of a product to decide what they want to do with it, and the same goes for makers of mods. Personally I use many mods, not 10 or 20 but several hundred mods. I can't do that if I have to pay for all the mods. With a paying system, buying 10-20 mods will cost more than the game itself. Considering that the game itself was developed by a professional company that used several years to make a game, and that they produce patches and have a customer service, I cant defend the cost of more than a few mods. What consequences this will have in the long run is uncertain but I fear that some of the community will die and that the interest around mods will decrease. I also fear that this system will be exploited by for example persons that is selling mods that they have not produced them-self. And if that happen what can valve do? kick them out? what about the players that have bought the product already?
  8. This seem to be the same issue I had. I'm no expert but I think this happen because the backup program is interrupting the scripts. For some reason this get "registered" somewhere and the error will happen again every time you start the game. I fixed it by stopping the backup routine and reinstalling SKSE again. Now Im running manual backup when game is not running.
  9. Great news UnmeiX :) Im going to try this in my next game for sure.
  10. Anyone still using this mod, and any reason why this mod did not end up in STEP?
  11. Thanks again guys for explaining I need to find what approach to take, then I will be back with more questions
  12. sry for my bad english but I dont understand what you mean here? I would really like to merge STEP:core+extended with SR:LE in some way if possible, as Hansam talk about above. I know you said before that I can't really add SR:LE to STEP but I still hope there is a way to do this, maybe in a limited way. What would be a good work order to "merge" STEP core+extended with SR:LE? First I guess would be to make 2 profiles as you said, 1 STEP and 1 SR:LE, but Im unsure where to go from there. cheers :)
  13. Thanks again Smile44 for bringing clarity :)
  14. After reading different places I have an impression that SR:LE should work with Requiem pack, War Ensemble pack, Companions pack, Weather and Lighting pack, Immersive Survival pack, adventure pack and survival pack but I can't confirm this.
  15. thanks a lot guys :) So I need to learn to do conflict resolution then, and then I need to learn to merge mods so I can avoid the plugin limit...puh...
  16. Thanks Smile44 :) I did not expect comments on each mod in my example but very nice of you. Sry about immersive patrols, I checked against mod list but not well enough. Based on your reply I think I get an overall idea that adding more mods after SR:LE should not create much problems except the normal conflicts and plugin limit. Thats great news :) I did a quick search for answer to this question but did not find anything. Is it possible to take out mods I dont like from SR:LE or do I have to use all or nothing?
  17. anyone that can help me with the above questions? thanks :)
  18. Hi and thanks for replies :) I restored a backup of MO to before updating and then did a update again and no issues now. I'm not sure what it was that happened, it could have been a setting or that something was wrong, anyway it work well again now. Thanks :)
  19. Hi guys I updated from a earlier version and some things have changed that I struggle with. 1. Not possible to drag mods in priority order anymore. Can only change priority order with typing and that sucks. How can I get back the dragging functionality? 2. Group mods together and I can't separate them and put them back as I want. How can I separate mods that is grouped? eg: SKSE Smart souls XP32 Skyrim realistic overhaul cheers :)
  20. Hi guys I have some similar questions so I hope it is ok to post it here. I have finished install Core + Extended but now I wonder if I should install SR:LE instead, I just have a few questions before I decide. What mods in SR:LE can make it difficult to install more mods on top of SR:LE? Is there some categories of mods that would be easier to install on top of SR:LE than others? Is it possible to take out mods I dont like from SR:LE? [spoiler=Just as an example, here is a few of the mods I would like to install on top of SR:LE if possible.] More treasure maps Sunken Treasures Moonpath to Elsweyr Interesting NPCs Populated Forts Towers Places (by RS) WAO - Weather and Ambience Overhaul Megapatch Agent of Righteous Might The Elder Scrolls Quest Series Immersive Patrols Hunterborn Fences of Skyrim World Map - Skyrim Hold Borders Fishing In Skyrim Pumping Iron - Dynamic Muscle Growth Athletics Training - with MCM Scarcity - Less Loot Mod Loot and Degradation Achieve That Fire and Ice Overhaul Appreciate any replies :) cheers
  21. Yeah ok, sry for not doing much research on it, I just hoped all packs would be compatible with STEP CORE and extended. Anyway, maybe I should start fresh with SR:LE instead of Core + extended and then build Requiem, Explorers guide, war ensemble and the other packs on SR:LE. I'm probably in the wrong forum then :P Thanks for help Jarl :)
  22. Thanks for quick response and good explanation. The most important packs I want to use together with STEP core + extended and Requiem is Explorers Guide and SRLE, but I also would like to install War Ensemble, Companions, Weather and Lighting and Immersive Survival. It say they should be compatible with requiem but Im not sure if they are compatible between each other and there is also much overlapping. I have Core + Extended already installed, so what will be the process to go from there to have all this packs installed with Requiem? I know that install order also is important so what pack do I start with and so on to get this to work together?
  23. This pack look awesome and I would love to use it, great work :D I have installed STEP Core + extended and wonder how I should proceed to install the different packs mentioned as compatible and Requiem? Where do I start? Cheers :)
  24. Great work...keep it up...mod comparisons and guides safe a lot of time..thanks :D
  25. Thanks for clearing this up even further. The reason Im trying to avoid batched patched is that I love to test mods and my understanding of bashed patch is very low even after reading through some guides. I therefor difficult to evaluate what is being patched, why it is patched and if things is done correctly. And according to STEP guide this have to be done each time the plugin list/order changes and STEP also use "Import Names", "Import Stats", "Tweak Settings", and "Leveled Lists", not only leveled list. Its fun testing mods but the goal is to build a mod library to work with STEP core+extended, but I find it hard to evaluate other mods when Im not even sure if bashed patch is done correctly or working. So I hoped to avoid using batched patch when doing all this testing But when using STEP I guess I just have to either trust batched patch or spend more time reading up on how it work. Thanks again for your help :)
