  1. Ok I was not aware of that being a problem. What kind of problems can corrupted textures do? is it just that they will look strange? I can't imagine how you have managed to test all this and combine things together, some files here and some files here, its truly amazing the work you have done.
  2. I was not aware of this function. Only used on the left side to find mods. But for now I organize all through, MO and then move them to a "roughly hierarchy" based on similarity regarding where/where it is used. E.g All mods that is related to a hold on the map is put into one category. This can be followers, graphic for things in that area, new quests or things to do in that area, or city improvements. That makes testing easier.
  3. Another "quick" question. I just wonder if it will be any problems if I install optional files with less resolution than the one in the guide, as long as I do it with all mods? Im afraid to run into memory issues or other issues, so I try not to go higher than 1024. Most important for me is a smooth gameplay and I can sacrifice graphical improvement for fps. Personally I don't think there will be any issues with installing mods with less resolution, but since I dont know much about this I rather ask then to run my whole installation into the ground. Cheers :)
  4. aha that's great to know, thanks :)
  5. Thanks for response Pretendeavor. Yeah, I have read up on how MO work, but to go from there to choosing merge or to install files as separate mods from same mod is a tricky area. I like to reduce number of mods on install list to minimum for better overview, but it is safer to just install files from same mod after each other, but damn it look messy. Also if I install all files from same mods as optional mods and have hundreds of mods installed, I can imagine that all the files that get processed just to be overwritten will at some point take resources and time and maybe create issues. This is the same reason I try to avoid using hide, but it can be practical sometimes. About optionals, maybe Im slow but I did not grasp its function in the guide, optionals sounds like very much like optional
  6. aha...hehe...I saw that when I read it earlier but did not connect the dots, thanks m8 for teaspoon feeding me Its just how this guide have a tendency to confuse noobs like...think I need a serious talk with Neovalen at some point
  7. Thanks for responseNozzer66 and for the explanations Just a few things... So what you are saying that all places it say "Optionals:" in the guide, actually mean that I shall install them all and that it is not meant as optional installations? OK, but I still dont get what to do. In the guide it say to "Delete the light emitter changes" and "remove" later down but not what to remove. Also when I open up the mod with + there is nothing named "light emitter", so I need a more detailed instruction
  8. Some questions from guide: 1. About instructions to not install certain files or folders: Is it ok to use "hide" in MO instead of not installing, or will this have any negative effects like slower loading or something? 2. Papyrus Compiler Fix For 64-bit System Is it possible to confirm/check that this process was completed successfully? 3. 4.4.1.2 Blocksteal Redux I took files from optional file and just put it into main file installation, is this ok? 4. 4.4.4.2 Extensible Follower Framework Is it ok to "merge" the replacment file with main file when installing it in MO? 5. 4.5.3.1 Project Reality - Climates Of Tamriel Optionals: Dawnguard Patch, Dragonborn Patch. Just wonder why this is optional when many other mods need all dlc's, something wrong with this? 6. 4.5.4.3 Enhanced Lighting for ENB The cleaning instruction Right-click ELE_Legendary_Fs_Wt_Lite.esp>"Light" and select "Remove".Just to be sure: First "apply filter for cleaning" and then "remove identical to master" right? 7. 4.5.5.5 Enhanced Lights and FX This mod have many plugins, is it possible to merge all the plugins? Same goes for this mod 4.5.5.6 Project Parallax Remastered 8. Use of * in "Do not install" and "only install" Many places in this guide * is added after files that should not be installed or only installed. This dont seem to be consistent to me, I can be missing something ofc. Some examples: Serious HD Retexture Skyrim Special Installation: Install only the following file(s) and/or folder(s): textures/dlc02/landscape/dlc2road01ash01.ddstextures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_darkcliff_01*.ddstextures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_rocks_01*.ddstextures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_tundra_01.ddstextures/dlc02/landscape/volcanic_ash_tundra_03*.ddsWhat is the meaning of * here? Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul - Dragonborn Special Installation: Install only the following file(s) and/or folder(s): textures/dlc02/architecture/ravenrock/redoran/redoran0*.ddstextures/dlc02/architecture/telvannitower/telwoodendoor*.ddsDoes it mean all files with same name up to the * should be installed? Cheers
  9. ok, I was hoping that there was a way to organize these files easily and at the same time keep the nexus ID's.
  10. Hi The download folder is getting crowded, more than 1500 files there, and I have problems finding files I have downloaded when I need them and identifying what mod they came from. Before I started using MO I download files info folders that was organised according to category. This made it easy to find things and when a update come out I just put it into the same folder. Is there some way to organize downloaded files in MO in a easy way? I know most files is identified and MO keep track of what mods they come from. Can these somehow be used to organize them? Any help is appreciated.
  11. SR:Le is a stretch for some of us and it would be great to have some pictures of how things should look in mod organizer. So does anyone have some pictures of a complete mod list and plugin list, and maybe even archive list and data list of SR:LE installed? This way I can check to see if things look the same or if I ****ed up something as usual
  12. Im trying hard to not be a noob but here we go again Enhanced Lighting for ENB Author: -JawZ-- Version: 0.95a Should I use default version or only IL version?
  13. Ok thanks again, I rest my case, for now
  14. thanks for quick reply Neovalen, you are a life saver :D
  15. ok thanks. That dont sound promising. Before I used gtx 470 x 2 in sli and I had like 45+ fps outside with STEP core+extended. Now with 2 x 980gtx I cant expect much more? It cost me 1200 euro and I bought it just for this game, that is horrible. I expected to have 60+ fps everywhere with SR:LE installed :(((((((((((((((((((((((((( Is sli defect in for gtx 980 in this game? In most games it should increase fps with 80-95% when running sli. Anyone running 2 x gtx 980?
  16. A question about Vividian ENB. I have just installed it and is about to merge the vividian esp's. Before I do that I wonder if I can use the "vanilla version" and not the "vivid version" that is used in the guide? I like crisp and clear air, like a sharp winter day with bright sun, but with "vivid version" I think the game look murky and muddy (sorry for my lacking vocabularly). Since I have only installed like 1/5 of the SR:LE maybe the visual will get crisper later, if not, I really like to use the "vanilla version" if possible.
  17. Im struggling with low fps with SR:LE. Have installed around 30 mods. I have like 40 fps just standing still looking out on the landscape just exiting the start cave connected to helgen. I have gtx 980 x2 in sli, i7-4790@4,7ghz, 16 gram, win 7 64 bit @1440. 40 fps with this setup feel like crap so I wonder if this is what i can expect or if something is serious wrong? Any thoughts or ideas what that can be wrong?
  18. Hi Some questions about DDSopt. 1. Should I do both "texture processing" and "normal maps" processing on every mod that need DDsopt? 2. What DSopt exe files should I use, 32 or 64 bit? I have win 7 64 bit and installed both versions according to guide. Edit: Found some answers on forum so I made a new question
  19. Thanks for your reply hishutep Have to say I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but it solved the problem. I usually do that to solve other issues that arises but I could not even imagine that a restart could fix this. I was certain the esp was corrupted in some way so I downloaded different versions and re-downloaded latest version. EDIT: BOSS seem to be very sensitive to something since this also happened on other mods I installed today. I never had this issue with LOOT. Any idea what kind of activity/background update that cause this since it is starting to become annoying.
  20. Hi guys Im installing Skyrim SR:LE and using Boss regularly. After installing moreHUD Boss crash every time I try to run it. I tried reinstalling the mod and tried earlier versions, no luck so far. I have minimal understanding of Boss so I have no idea what this can be. Any suggestions? Cheers
  21. Same warning here. HighResTexturePack01-03 all report missing masters. I have enabled "have mo manage archives" and unclicked the esp files. Its strange that it still keep reporting missing masters, and it is redundant since everything work correctly. I dont remember that this happened in earlier version of MO. Is it possible to remove this warning?
  22. Thanks a lot for clarifying this issue GrantSP Thanks also for explaining what the command actually do I have no idea if this worked but this was what happened when I executed the command. I did it in two different ways just to be sure ;)
  23. This download dont seem to have corflags.exe Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 4 , at least I can't find it anywhere. But this have corflag: .NET Framework 2.0 Software Development Kit (SDK) (x64) But it install corflag.exe in this location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\SDK\v2.0 64bit\Bin This also have corflag: Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) for Windows 8.1 Here corflag.exe is installed in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.1A\bin\NETFX 4.5.1 Tools hehe, Im sorry for being such a noob but this make no sense to me ans I have no idea if I can run the "Papyrus Compiler Fix For 64-bit Systems" using corflag from any of this locations? PS: I'm running win 7.
  24. Thanks for your reply GrantSP I tried with quotes and without quotes and tried different spaces between but I was not sure so thanks. Anyway, since corflags.exe is not there nothing work atm. Can I use the zip file from zilav and skip the whole process? And why is there no corflags.exe? I also tried installing all the tools in the "SDK for windows" but still not there.
