@ Allister: Well that was not as tough as I thought :-) Thanks for your efforts and concession for the greater good! ;-)

Please use punctuation. This gives me a headache. @Nshell: Is this other smaa injector you are referring to usable/better than the other one for a nvidia user? If so, why? Can a nvidia user configure this sweet FX in the same way as if using radeon pro? About ATTK: Which processes should be set to exempt exactly? the Nvidia Control panel or is it a other process that handles the gpu? Edited by torminater -REMOVED- Really, I don't think it's necessary for anybody to have to read a text like yours or a text like the one I just sucked out of my fingers (a saying in my native language). Let's be nice to each other and take care of another all together and everything will be alright.

THANK GOD! My performance will increase!

Yeah I get the messages " ... too complex..." "Ugh, I think that lock is too tough for me" But if I activate it and have lockpicks... tadaaa! can pick it.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
torminater replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Hey Neo, looking forward to updating to Skyrim 1.9 ;-) Oh man, I really don't want to switch with you! :-/ -
So guys, we can now apply for Skyrim 1.9 beta ... which might mean issues with current mods needing updates. Here's what's new:
-
This shouldn't have made any difference at all. Are you sure you've setup Wrye correctly?
-
I guess you didn't understand... I have enabled ALL features with hard limits except auto-lockpicking!!! I shouldn't be able to pick that master lock - but I am - which brings me to the conclusion that this feature doesn't seem to work.
-
Okay I've got an issue with this mod - a different one ;-) I can pick any lock although I've enabled all requirements and my bulky Orc 2-handed brute can still open a master lock - with a lockpicking kill level of 16?! Any idea how to fix this?

ACCEPTED Skyrim Project Optimization (by rgabriel15)
torminater replied to Besidilo's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I think this is not entirely correct. It affects performance all over by putting "blinkers" on your gpu so it doesn't render things which the player cannot see. -

That was exactly what I thought. Changed to Notepad ++ right away :-)

Dawnguard and Hearthfire ESMs reported missing by WB
torminater replied to Farlo's question in General Skyrim LE Support
have you enabled "override skips" for this package? -
I am not following this .... ? Okay I'll try to explain to you what I mean:- Normally the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini have included variables and values. Each variable has a specific value. All variables are separated from another by a line end. [Display] ... iMaxAnisotropy=16 # LINE END iMultiSample=8 # Next line ... - If I apply any ini tweak through WB my ini files look like this if viewn with Windows Editor: [Display]...iMaxAnisotropy=16iMultisample=8... - If I view the ini files with wrye bash for further tweaking it still looks like this: [Display] ... iMaxAnisotropy=16 # LINE END iMultiSample=8 # Next line ... - If I view the ini files through the Editor and copy all the content and paste it somewhere else it looks again like this: [Display] ... iMaxAnisotropy=16 # LINE END iMultiSample=8 # Next line ... All in all... weird. I cannot correctly tweak any values anymore except with wrye bash.

Skyrim completely in Slow Motion - no glitch! FIXED
torminater posted a question in General Skyrim LE Support
Hey guys. I just got a really upsetting bug and thankfully fixed it right away. I started my computer, enabled my sourround sound headset, started gamebooster, steam and launched Skyrim with ATTK. The main menu skyrim symbol spinning speed was in slow motion. I loaded my latest savegame and everything in the whole game was in slow motion. Nothing I could do against it. My character uses neither Bow nor shield nor does he have the slow time shout or any perk that would allow him to slow down time in any aspect. I made this savegame exactly after stopping using a tanning rack. But all other savegames were as well affected by this issue! No post so far on the internet has stated anything that I could do about this issue - the only results which included a fix were for the glitch of endless slowtime when using a bow and somehow doing sth weird whilst zooming in and thus slowing time. However this was not what happened to me. My whole GAME was in slow motion. What fixed it for me was to chkdsk /F my OS drive. Apparently some steam value got corrupted which lead to a memory leak of some sorts. Steam validated itself afterwards and now the issue is gone. I do not know whether this came to be because of ATTK or gamebooster. Probably just a bad coincidence. However I'm happy to have found the solution to this issue and I wanted all of you to know what's wrong with your computer when you encounter this issue! -
ACCEPTED Consistent Older People (by Winterlove)
torminater replied to Kelmych's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I think this causes an issue with texture seems on older people. Anise from Anise's cabin Southwest of riverwood had this problem. Can anybody confirm this? Also could be a other issue: Improved Foot Wraps for females requires according to the MA: FemFeet by Phygit https://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3666 which is not part of STEP -

I remember this issue. Since I don't have an ATI card I forgot about it. Glad you fixed it. I just knew it was something simple ;-D -
what kind of problems?

Have you deleted you skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini and renderinfo.txt? have you set you CCC or Nvidia Inspector settings for skyrim to the default settings (controlled by Application)? Have you gotten any "global settings" applied which differ from the standard settings? Have you tested your graphic card with e.g. FurMark's Burn-In-Test? -
From a philosophical standing I would counter: A dragon is a superior creature to Mer, Men and animal people since it is not bound to time and thus immortal. Think back to the conversations with Paarthurnax if you doubt it. In our realm a dragon takes on a physical form - a container for it's life essence which can be absorbed by the player. The physical form can be destroyed by any being - it doesn't matter through what. And it can bleed, get torn in to pieces etc. If a dragon gets slain and there is no dragon/-born to absorb it's life-force it doesn't dissolve and leaves only it's bones but it's a normal corpse which does dissolve over time. The other possibility would be, that the body of the dragon still dissolves, but into thin air - not concentrated on it's vanquisher absorbing it's life force. So the life force would "leave" this realm and gets sent back by Alduin who "awakens" the body of the dragon. In any way that would make sense, since alduin cannot resurrect dragons whose life force got absorbed by Dragonborn but only the ones slain by normal mortals even if in both cases only bones remain. However, the blades have constructed burial mounds for the slain dragons. Whether there were only bones left or whole corpses which became skeletons over time I do not know. Alduin could resurrect those corpses with his power and breathe their souls back into them which made the bones regain their full physical appearance (Salohkniir - usually 2nd dragon killed by player). Now we know that: skeleton + dragon soul = full dragon body alive and skeleton + no soul = skeleton. The skeleton is the anchor/scaffolding of a dragon in our realm, not bound to it's soul (unless this is lorebreaking from vanilla skyrim of course). The soul builds the dragon creature around this skeleton. If the soul gets absorbed... the skeleton remains but everything else dissolves and gets absorbed by the player and becomes a part of his own soul. This is true for any dov whether dragonborn or dragon. Trying to separate the facts of the game from theories: - Dragon souls get absorbed by dragonborn leaving only skeletons behind. - Not absorbed dragon souls can be reimplemented in their physical remains = skeletons by Alduin. - Paarthurnax talks a lot about what dragons are. This might not be taken by it's wordly meaning though. - Hitting a dragon with a weapon results in blood splatters. - No pieces are being ripped out of a dragon in or after combat (e.g. no decapitation) - There are killmoves with certain weapons that let the weapon sink in to the dragon suggesting it gets pierced by this weapon. - If the player gets killed by a dragon he does not get absorbed by it (I think it's lorebreaking...)

I have to tell you, that reinstalling skyrim was just a major waste of time. artifacting is caused by your graphic card being overworked. this should be fixed when turning your pc off, cleaning it out (remove dust aso.) -

could be artifacting. Have had similar issues when playing for a long time or overclocking!
