@ Farlo: Have you tried to load the save with a vanilla ini? Try Ultra settings first, and hangle your way down to medium if needed until it works, then troubleshoot the value that causes the infini-load for you.

When posting for support, please including the following: System Specs - Including model and clock rate of the CPU and GPU, whether you use an HDD or SSD, and screen resolution Graphics driver version and settings Skyrim launcher settings STEP version and any additional mods used Texture/quality resolution options - "highest available", "only 1k", etc. Installation method - Wrye Bash, Mod Organizer, NMM, or manual Screenshots and/or video of the bug, where applicable Thank you. As for you issues, I'm guessing you've removed vsync and you have a vram-limitation.

Also, apparently there are some quality differences between the different options to apply AA or AF. You might want to see what offers you the best quality over performance (using the same settings of course). Report back, if you've come to a conclusion and also try to offer some hq screenshots to prove your findings. :-)

Usually you only apply AA or AF once in launcher, Nvidia Inspector/CCC, ENB. Everything else might lead to performance drops or other issues.

Everywhere in windhelm there are ice puddles, so why shouldn't there be any on the market? Are all the other ice puddles in windhelm real meshes and textures or are they decals?

Ok, thanks for your input on this :-) 1. You never, never never never NEVER delete anything in the CK. Disable those references instead please. Then you can verify it still works in game and upload your esp to the nexus where it might very well be incorporated into step :-)

From a subjective point of view I'ld say that most of your ini tweaks are useless/don't have any noticeable impact on neither stability nor performance/actually decrease your performance without quality gain or cause issues.

I don't know of any game out there which supports hyperthreading.

Are you using ATTK? If not, try it.

Were you getting CTDs more often before?

Some of it is a bit too sexy for my taste. And vampires don't get scarier if wearing gothic paint in their face. But other "dresses" look pretty good! :-)

+1. I don't want silly teenage elves in my game. I don't think the thalmor were half as intimidating if they keep making duck faces around you. Kind of silly. Although, thinking about it... I need my double barrel shotgun.

Afaik, there are some issues with this mod as it apparently is not a simple retex. A more experienced modder would be able to resolve those issues probably rather quickly.

If you use step mods only, sure. If you use other mods, too, it depends on those mods, whether they edit the same leveled lists etc....

To make things clear: There is a new difficulty setting called Legendary: This has nothing to do with Legendary Skills!!! Legendary skills are completely optional. A player can choose to downgrade a mastered skill (100) to 15 to relevel it again - or leave it be as it is. Of course you can use the legendary difficulty setting without legendary skill reset.

I'll just put another note here about the Troubleshooting Guide, which must be overhauled completely to meet our current knowledge. Therefore I'ld like to ask all the forum moderators to look through the old threads in the support forum and mark those as solved if they were solved. I will start going through the solved threads and see whether this was an issue common enough to find it's place in the troubleshooting guide.
