  1. Jeez. As soon as boris gets his mem fix stable and i come around to reinstall my setup i'll add open cities to my install. If cabal ever finishes the major cities the game will be so awesome!
  2. There is no way to tell the garbage collector to flush tge data in shorter intervals through a .net script or sth?
  3. Exactly, CoT was the official lighting mod of STEP but only several version numbers ago.
  4. If this effect was only added to empty bottles? ;-) Or perhaps a dark effect for filled bottles as well?
  5. Looks good. If a admin supports it, it'll be marked for testing.
  6. Interesting... apparently he actually flushes the RAM, which leads to "missing" textures, just as if you'ld reach your 3 GB RAM limitation... What ever he did with his fix, it is definitely not ready yet. Black and purple textures everywhere even without coming close to 3 GB RAM. Also screen tearing and funky lighting... Doesn't bode well for a pseudo-64bit-skyrim...
  7. At least it is not STEP: Core philosophy. If you want to further change your game to get a "survival" feel into the game, we'll offer that and other things in packs, which can be safely added to the STEP:Core install.
  8. I'll be eager to see how exactly he tries to fix a ram limit of tesv.exe itself only through a dll file... Never would have thought this was actually possible?! o_O
  9. Some People don't even read the download name of a version... I like your script. As soon as it's known what it can do and what it can do wrong i'll try it out. I need all time savers i can get.
  10. Each their own I guess...
  11. Keeping this mod as as it is right now (fix&basic) seems a good idea. You can include your other planned features in either a expanded version or as optionals.
  12. Apparently Boris (creator of ENB) is working on implementing a "fix" to the 3 GB RAM issue which supposedly alleviates bottlenecks as well. Head over to the nexus discussion thread for Gopher's 3.1 GB CTD video, to find the quote.
  13. You installed XPMS with the joy of perspective optional, which was wrong. Reinstall XPMS and select "NO" for the Joy of Perspective or JOP optional.
  14. Only issue I'ld have, is that it refers to Frodo Baggins who is not part of TES Lore. Not a mod for purists then. Also, the "inside jokes" are not really true to the story happening in Skyrim, even though it refers to stuff from encounters with various NPCs. Still, if there is no other option than vanilla (and we overlook the Frodo Baggins "issue") this mod might be included. Other question: Is it a dynamic plugin which changes the numbers and values for the different shops or is it the same texture used for all business ledgers? I guess the latter, although the former would be REALLY awesome in combination with kryptopyr's Trade and Barter or sth like that.
  15. Even if sb would do that, it'ld be illegal to upload it (unless I'm mistaken).
  16. I think one of those is an admin here on the forums so beware!!!
  17. Put it in a gameplay pack as an optional.
  18. Building on others' work is usually a lot more efficient ;-)
  19. Isn't there just a wrong flag setting for the mesh or sth like that? Vanilla hair disappears completely when wearing a helmet, so there ought to be some setting missed by the mod author which does the same.
  20. Interesting... might test it sometime.
  21. I never actually saw it working...
  22. Yup, that optional quest has never been achievable by me when playing with Destructible Bottles active.
  23. Yes. With skyrim perfmon this should be possible. I don't think this ini line will provide a placebo "cleanmem" effect. More likely it'll not do anything OR actually cause issues between cell transitions, scripts, mods with multiple followers or quest bugs. Still, it would be nice if the setting worked.
  24. You can leave the DLCs in the data folder. Skyrim will be installed with the 1.9 update.
  25. Looks good what about a male version?
