  1. You ignored the wishes of the author. That's what's wrong. If they say they don't want their mod used then that's the end of the story.
  2. And this entire issue is why I doubt I'll bother 'upgrading'; that and I consider it a waste of time.
  3. ^That. They're essentially how those mods keep details like Menu Config settings etc...
  4. Hello, I'm Nozzer aka Paul in real life. And I'm a Mod-a-holic.
  5. Pretty sure with the Flora Mod that the cleaning depends on which version you choose. It's been a while since I've set Fallout 3 up so I may be wrong.
  6. You can add it if you want. You may need to roll your own Conflict Res on it though. From what I recall there's an occasional issue with Bring Out Your Dead and EEO overwriting some records there for Elven NPCs...
  7. It's not some strange issue with bsa files and not having them in the correct place? (That's a complete guess BTW, I have no idea either.) Have you asked on the actual Perkus Maximus page? Raulfin's usually pretty good at solving issues there.
  8. There's some old versions and the 1.5 current version. Shouldn't it be self evident which file to download?
  9. Happy to help out if I can.
  10. I have a 120Hz monitor so I use driver v-sync at half refresh rate. I've found that still occasionally spiked to say 80 Fps, so I've now taken to using the ENB limiter and clamp at 60. that seems pretty rock solid.
  11. You'll need to take out more than just the d3d9.dll. You'd need to get rid of anything with enb in the name. Enbseries.ini, enblocal.ini, enbseries folder etc.
  12. Get a WD Black. They're damn near Bullet proof. Or I've had no issues with my Seagate either.
  13. Wont bother me, I wont even bother to use it.
  14. That's not an unusual size for a Patchus Maximus file. And it's hardly surprising that it would take longer to load. With the patches, put them in the order that's suggested on the PaMa patches page. No point blocklisting them, that would defeat their purpose.
  15. I wholeheartedly recommend Ordinator. It's dead easy to use and needs less patching and skyproc stuff than Perma. I'd start with Neovalen's SRLE and then look at others like Dreadflopp's and/or SRLE Extended.
  16. I always zip up the Downloads directory at least and save it to a USB Stick.
  17. I ALWAYS use that. The first time you get 5 FPS in the basement of Jorrvaskr, you'll know why.
  18. Yes I always launch from MO SKSE shortcut. And no I don't usually lock anything. Never seen a need to.
  19. Rigmor is very good. Played a full playthrough once with her as Lydia as the only two followers I ever used.
  20. or you can just edit the ini file for the Uncapper.
  21. I know with Neovalen's particular guide they are since his pre-built CR patch relies on several masters that are the ones made by the merges. So it's possible some may be needed, yes. You'd have to see if things like Missing Masters pop up. I think in Kelmych's guide you MIGHT be able to get away without them, just that it leaves no space if you decide to add additional mods at some stage. That may or may not be an issue depending.
  22. You can mouse over the file in the right pane and it should tell you where it's from. But I believe that's a script from "Automation Tools for TES5Edit."
  23. SRLE also has High level Enemies, and OBIS which some times makes life interesting. :) You can't necessarily just go flying into Bandit Camps with the steel flashing and not run into a Boss bandit who hands you your arse on a platter...
  24. I prefer Ordinator. But all of those are more than usable. Just check for patches on the Nexus for all of them and you should be golden.
  25. If you manage to pull this build off and get it stable, Dunc, I'll personally send you enough to buy a bottle of scotch. :D
