  1. This guide is making me consider reinstalling Fallout 4 and actually trying to make it worth playing. I stopped and uninstalled last time when it became obvious I was going to get a set of Power Armour at what I thought was way too low a level. Plus I HATED the graphics...
  2. I'd ask Neovalen. It's his guide after all. There's a thread for it down in the Gaming section.
  3. This has been happening a bit of late. I've seen this happen too.
  4. Dyndolod worlds when run will give you a dyndolod.esp.
  5. Not with the new DynDOLOD. You don't actually have a DynDOLOD.esp till after you run the programs for text gen and world gen. If you do have one from SRLE, just delete it and rerun everything again.
  6. They always have been using the one from DynDOLOD. And DynDOLOD is still in the guide, it just tells you to add extra patches on top of what Neo suggests in his guide.
  7. If space is not a premium, I'd leave them separate. That way if there's an issue you know where to find it. But if you want to roll up one overall CR esp, you could do that too.
  8. You don't necessarily. If you just download the already optimized ones off nexus and use those you're fine. However, if you'd rather do the optimization yourself via DDSopt and that whole procedure, you will need them.
  9. Yep. That's what it means.
  10. Nope I set up MO to download them to the 2 TB drive.
  11. That's why I keep my downloads file on my normal 2 TB hard drive, not on my SSD.
  12. Do what I do. Read EVERYTHING at least twice before downloading ANYTHING. If you're unsure what a tool does, read its help files. Read the whole guide over so you know what to do, and then read it again so you're certain. Be painstaking. I know we all WANT to get finished so we can go slicin, dicin and flamin bandits, dragons and anyone else who gets in our way, but keep in mind the final goal is a good, solid game that looks good, plays well and entertains you. Rushing, making errors and ending with a crash filled mess isn't entertaining... And yes, as said above, jumping right to SRLEX is a bold start, with that many mods to install it's going to take some time. Just be careful, read, read again and then read again. If you're still not sure, ask questions. Also search around the forums, it's possible the issue you're having might have been asked about before. Lastly: Test, test and test once more. Run the game between every block of mods you add. Obviously make sure anything that's still missing masters is unchecked when you do. Run around, try and check things like crafting stuff, make sure it's working, make sure the perk trees are working, make sure the ENB, if used is actually on and looks OK. When you're happy, continue with mod installation. Extra lastly, have fun. :) Now you've been bitten by the modding bug, you'll be forever chasing DA UBER skyrim setup. :)
  13. Maximum Load Order reached? Have you more than 255 plugins? If so, try unticking a few till you have space for the merge you're going to build, then rinse and repeat. Regards your first point, yes essentially do it that way. untick anything you need to, do the merge, retick/rename etc.
  14. If you do SRLEX then that contains Ordinator, which I actually think does a better job with perks and skills than Perma, and needs a lot less patching.
  15. Look on the Perma patches page in one of the forum topics there's a suggested load order. Follow that and you should be pretty right. I know Raulfin suggests a Merge patch and then a Bashed patch, but I'm not sure that's needed if you do follow Neovalen's suggested Conflict resolutions.
  16. The easiest way is don't try and keep up with it 100%. Bookmark the guide page, follow it, play you game through, then look, see what's changed and redo it for the next play. It's how I do it. I'm probably about 3 updates behind, but the game's stable and i'm too far in to restart. :) I'll come back shortly after my now level 34 Elf Spell Sword has cleaned Alduin's clock and start again. Next up I plan on going the whole hog. :)
  17. Yes, have a look at what's in it. It'll be log and or ini files for the mod. All you have to do is move those files from Overwrite to either the mod folder or another folder as mentioned by some of the other posters. Do that and they'll continue to be generated there and not bother you by popping up in overwrite every time.
  18. Ah I'm OK. I don't have a wife (or husband, for that matter...) or kids, and I'm a soulless husk...
  19. If it was the armor, you'd expect something similar in every place. Are guards Ok in every other city? Does sound like some strange mesh issue. Are you saying they're perfectly fine until you interact with them? If you don't approach them or try to talk to them they're fine?
  20. If I were you I'd look more at Neovalen's SRLE and Darth Mathias' SRLE Extended. Extended does include the Bijin Mods and Helgen Reborn. SRLE includes Falskaar. SRLE Extended builds on the SRLE base install. As a general thing, though, always do a base install of any guide and ensure you're stable and not a crashy mess before you add anything on top of that.
  21. If you mean the log and or ini files that pop up, the easy way to fix that is just move them into the Campfire mod folder. Then every start up they'll continue to go there, not overwrite.
  22. Neo, just a small one: CCO's LOOT rule is: Complete Crafting_TrueWeaponsLvlLists.esp - Load After ELE_Legendary_Fs_Wt_Lite.esp Should that not now be ELE_Legendary_Fs_Lite.esp?
  23. I just straight out uninstalled, keeping the user rules etc and reinstalled. not a single issue to date.
  24. If it's by Kryptopyr it'll have to get into my load order somewhere. Krypto's mods just work. :)
  25. Revenge of the Enemies is already in the guide...
