OK, well... Downloads folder emptied, my Skyrim downloaded mods folder cleared, MO completely removed, (Both versions of) Skyrim nuked to nothing and reinstalled via $team... Should be good to start on the guide tomorrow night after I get home from where I'll be. If I had the way to do it, I'd do a video of the install. But I don't have a good enough cam and/or mic.

With my connection, downloading a lot of mods wont be an issue. Time to do GBH to my unlimited data plan... :)

Much the same here. I'll likely boot it, run through Helgen to Riverwood and check what's going on, then wait for SKSE and SkyUI if it gets ported. BTW Schlangster has said he's not against porting it, he's just not going to do the work for it. If someone fixes everything so all he has to do is update the esp, repack and reupload, he'll do it.

You can probably rest assured that someone will come up with a SkyUI for the SE sooner or later. I'd think sooner. That's assuming the SkyUI people don't have a change of heart and do it themselves. I'd also lay a heavy bet that the SKSE people would have had early access to SE. I'd be surprised if a new SKSE takes too long.

That Champolion install is based on the bits of your computer OS if I recall. I run Windows 7 64 Bits so I use the 64 Bit version. Never seen an error anywhere.

Not really petty, it's just cleaning up. :) Anyone who's got a bit of experience would work them out, but for someone who's new to it all, best to be thorough.

Have a four day weekend coming up so if you SMC stuff is ready by then I will try this that weekend.

Get it installed ENB free first and check your operation. If all is stable and you get FPS you can live with, then drop in your ENB and see how you go. This at least gives you a baseline to work from.

You sure it's hidden? Looks fine to me. You just cant download it via MO. Needs to be done manually.

I should have said full clean install of the guide as it stands. No tweaks of my own. :) Complete with setting up MO and everything.

Let me know when you've got the guide pretty much all done. I'll do a full clean install of the whole guide and give you a rough idea of how long it takes me. Maybe you could drop that in as some form of benhmark? Up to you :)

Probably, yes. Else you'll likely get a crash in the vicinity of any of the statues due to mesh issues.

Probably depend on what the errors are, but I wouldn't. I'd post the errors you're getting and see if paul or anyone else can help you first.

It's an Either/Or. It'll still work either way whether you merge all into one or leave everything separated. Paul likes a clean left pane, so he does things one way. I like to see everything separate so I do it the other way. All it means is I have more stuff in my left pane. It shouldn't matter how you do it, just be consistent either way.

Jyggalag is very nice, I must admit. I do still like Vividian. Bleak and Unbleak are also high on my faves list, too.

True Nords probably didn't bathe often, but I never play a Nord. ;-) To each their own, though.

One of the reasons to extract BSA's is to get individual access to files they contain. You'll note later on that Neo asks to hide files etc. If they're still in the BSA you cant do that. As for Alternate Start, I've always extracted the BSA and never noticed an issue. Obviously some have else Arthmoor wouldn't say not to. I guess it's just one of those 'your mileage may vary' sorts of things.

I worked to a slightly older version of the guide (ie without the town and city upgrades and with ICAIO still) and did a little bit of 'editing' here and there. I run all the mods like Bathing In Skyrim, Campfire, Frostfall, iNeed etc. If I find anything I need to fix I'll either see if the guide's provided a patch for it in upgrades to the CORE or OPTIONAL patch pack, or have a go at patching it myself. I fully intend to make up another MO profile and do another SRLE LOTD Reqtified list without ICAIO and the survival mods and with the town and city upgrades and check that one out as well.

I was referring to Player Character presets actually. I'll have a closer look, though.
