Thanks for fixing it. No problems now. -
Mono's Lore Friendly Equipment Pack - Feedback

Wow that was quick! Thanks :) EDIT - I'm not sure this is the right place for this, however I tracked down an issue I was having with loading the game to the Project Nevada - Equipment.esm within Mono's Project Nevada Plugins. I can use the Project Nevada - WMX.esp with the regular Project Nevada - Equipment.esm and load the game fine, but when I let the other one overwrite it there's no cursor or main menu. Can this be load or install order related? I installed this pack at the Additional Weapons section in the main Fear & Loathing guide where it gives links to different weapon packs that can be merged, without using the other packs. Also, no WMX - Modern Weapons or Dragonskin Armor. -

Yeah, the Mono's Project Nevada Plugins link appears to be dead. -

I think there's something wrong with the latest ENB version (0.292). I updated to it and found that my game became very unstable; I wasn't able to get a save game to load and the game seemed to hang for a long time when starting up. I switched back to 0.290 and found everything to be running smoothly again. -

As a long time user of this guide, thanks for all the hard work creating and continuing to update it. It pretty much encompasses everything I'd want to use in the game, though I wonder if there's any quest mods you feel would go well with this? -

I googled that error message and found these threads. It's a bit old, but maybe it'll point you in the right direction. Alternatively, try re-installing DirectX to see if that fixes it. https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/616188677681003146/ https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/613937306548718176 -
This alignment fix for RH Ironsights might be a worth-while addition to the guide. It affects four of the pistols (Browning High Power, the M1911, Sig Sauer, and Beretta 92c): https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/21794/? There's also a detailed re-texture for the Armored Vault 101 Suit you get from Moira, but it doesn't affect the other Vault Suits so it might look out of place in comparison: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/21887/?

I asked the mod author for help in setting up for Mod Organizer and there's a few links which describe the process. Here's the discussion thread and a setup guide for installing it (TES4LL) on Oblivion. The MPGUI doesn't work with Mod Organizer according to author's comment on the New Vegas page. New Vegas Page: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61035/? Discussion Thread: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/9452-landscape-lod-generator-tess4ll-and-mo/ MO - Oblivion : https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer_Oblivion EDIT - Do you know of a way to change FOV on things like the S.P.E.C.I.A.L book in the Vault 101 beginning? I play on 21:9 resolution (2560x1080) and it isn't affected by any FOV tweaks that I found. It makes it impossible to close it out once the book is opened, unless dropping the resolution to a supported one and then changing it once finished. Bethesda's ultra-wide resolution support is pretty bummy. I wasn't able to get AA working through the ENB so I just went through drivers instead, and besides the minor issue noted above, the game looks and plays great. Thanks for taking the time to create this guide!

This is copied from the Oblivion version, but the tool does the same thing across the different games. "Compatibility The tool is compatible with TES4LODGen (which replaces only the static meshes) as well as tes4qlod. By definition, tes4ll is compatible with all mods which change landscapes."

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
Turkeys replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
He might have meant this (Taken from the FAQ) : "Q: Wrye Bash tells me that the plugin is corrupt or not the right version, is it safe to use? how do I fix it? A: This is merely an issue with the file header of the plugin showing a different number of records than it is expecting, it's caused when I make changes to some of the addon files, but does not cause any problem and can be ignored. Fully cleaning each of my files in order and re-sorting them usually fixes the problem and I get around to doing so every couple updates" -
GUIDE Mythic Dawn: Gateway to Oblivion WIP

As requested - https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6948-auto-update-leveled-items-and-spells/ -
A handy little mod that automatically updates the quest rewards so that they aren't useless only a few levels after you receive them. It uses an OBSE script and functions cleaner in comparison to Quest Award Leveler so that's a plus (The specifics regarding this can be found on the mod page). It also supports the DLCs and SI out of the box and is configurable via .INI file. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/39635/?

Turkeys replied to hishutup's topic in Oblivion - Mythic Dawn
He means items in quests not leveling up with the player and so becoming useless only a few levels after they've been rewarded. There was a neat little mod that handled it with an OBSE script automatically. EDIT - Found it - https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/39635/? -

Sure, I just have to get the base install completed first. BTW, The Unique Landscapes Compilation contains Up-to-Date versions for all the UL Mods except The Eastern Peak. The most recent version for that was released on the 29th of December. Also, I found an unofficial patch for Ruined Tails Tale - Ruined Tails Tale - Unofficial Patch -

Would this be a necessary addition for getting COBL Races and OCO to play nice or is it only for the COBL Races - Balanced changes? Thank you very much for the guide by the way, after reinstalling Oblivion so many times seeing this is a huge timesaver. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45382/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D45382&pUp=1 -

There appears to have been a re-release of Nuska's Dagi-Raht (Not by Nuska though). Should we use this instead of the UNP Khajiit and Argonian Fix? -
Low FPS and extreme stuttering
Turkeys replied to Arci996's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
That is a known problem spot for FPS drop. I had mine drop to single-digit freeze-frame levels of slow on my old GPU. I'm not sure why, but it could be the light sources and all the NPCs that congregate there maybe? There is a mod, Skyrim Project Optimization, which uses occlusion culling in that area and other spots to alleviate the FPS drop, but I think that is already included in the guide. -

Hey Neovalen, There was an update released for Wyrmstooth (v1.14). If updated, should one also re-do the BSA optimization with DDSopt? -

I'd love to know exactly where in the update description it would state that, "Installing this will completely break your current installation of the OS." If anything, the stupid ones are Microsoft for putting out an update which has caused plenty of problems for people who installed it (Typical Microsoft fashion :P). They should properly test their updates before releasing them to the public. -
Mod Suggestions for SR - Post in STEP Mods Forum

I have a mod suggestion that could serve as an unofficial sort of patch for Falskaar. It mainly corrects typos and things of that nature, but it is nice for making a more polished experience. Falskaar - Typo Patch by Treacleman : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51445/?
