  1. I haven't used REGS yet. Now, I would like it read the guide and installed mods. "All of them". I use STEP Extended as a baseline. I have some question in connection with Dawn Of Skyrim mod. I compared the JK version and that one. In my opinion Dawn of Whiterun is more lore friendly. I agree that JK one has more performance "issue" even if you a have a very good rig. Dawn of Whiterun runs more fluid and it looks also great enough. So, if I want to change REGS to use Dawn Of Skyrim instead of JK one am I right that I should change some mods. And above them, I have other question: 1. Dawn Of Skyrim instead of --> JK 2. Better City Entrances - JK's Whiterun (Outskirts) Compatible Version --> I choosed the All in One version. The REGS version says: "This version of Better City Entrances is tailored for use with the pack called "A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim" but can also be used standalone as an all-in-one version to get it to work with the Touring Carriages mod in Windhelm." I have tried the REGS compatible one, but I haven't noticed rotten bodies and some minor stuff if I'm right. And as I said, I didn't notice any issue with Touring Carrigies mods. Tried it in Windhelm and it worked. Or do I understand something wrong? I have tried, and I didn't notice any issue with Touring Carrigies in Windhelm. Maybe mod was updated and REGS Guide out of date? 3. Better Docks - REGS Compatible (all-in-one version without Dawnstar) Why do we use without Dawnstar? I have no idea. I guess maybe some kind of isseu, but I do not know that mod. Could anyone help me why the all docks version not good? 4. Nernie's Replacer - Nernies City and Village Expansion - REGS Version The same as above. I don't mind just haven't found any description about that as well. 5. And from REGS Patches in this case for me Riften JK patch also faulty.. REGS Patch - Riften NavFull.esp If I'm right without JK it missed master file. The other mods are ok. Or could anyone suggets a better settings? What I want is to avoid CTDs abd ILS and other stuff as far as possible? If this topic is not the right one, please someone sugget me the correct one.   5. Hi TechAngel, Thank you for the detailed explanation. I thought it could be a bug, but couldn't deside it is from game engine or maybe HQ Snow textures, or could be in related with DynDOLOD, but not. I guess, we do not use Better Dynamic Snow in STEP guide? And I do not use any other texture files neither city, town mods, as well. I'm going to start a new Skyrim gameplay walkthrough (after a long time) and didn't remember that kind of issue from earlier, but yes it look like some kind of game engine bug which is related to time for instance, and weather type. Yes, I'm sure COT just makes it noticeable. ATM, I'm trying my mod lists, how buggy they are, how reliable and so on... Thank you Angel, thank you!

  7. Hi, I don't know wheter it is a bug or not. I have STEP Extended and some other stuff but nothing which modifies Windhelm snow textures. Don't know why but usually where should be snow textures it is blank and black. :( Any idea? Wrong textures: Right textures: But mostly I have the faulty one. :/ I use COT. It is usually good when the wheter is clear, sunny and the time is about 10:00.
  8. I have never noticed that before, just under using DynDOLOD and I guess this could be because Helgen looks different after Alduin attacks then before. Some object does not exist after you leave the cave. I've tried to make screens but couldn't because textures looks wierd and flicker just a moment. These are just scenes where I noticed that flickering issue, on walls, rocks, etc... Sorry, it was hard to press print screen just in time. :/ Right after we left the cave and hurry back to Helgen from the first gate those issues had gone, everything looked right.
  9. Hi, If I start a new game under the first quest I notice some strange texture flickering at Helgen. Just under Alduin attacks while we(you) try to escape from Helgen. Flickering issues on walls and roads. Later I will try to upload screens somewhere. After we leave Helgen and coming back these issues they are gone. No issue at all. Every textures look as they should. My DynDOLOD works well, everything else work fine. So, these issues just while you try to escape from Helgen, under the attack.

  11. Hi, Just an easy and short question: After generating Bashed Patch; DSR Patch; etc... and DynDOLOD and ... later adding more mod and run LOOT again and again, ... LOOT does put DynDOLOD.esp before Bashed Patch and DSR Patch in do load order. Should I move DynDOLOD to the very bottom of my load order, maybe the last one or can I leave it just before those patches. So, like this: My load order end, after running LOOT: STEP Extended Patch; DynDOLOD; Bashed Patch; DSR Patch Thanks, in advance!
  12. Hi, I have a question. From STEP DSR page detailed instruction page: "Warning:Each time you change your load order, you should rerun the DSR Patch to remake the patch. Failure to do so may lead to a CTD upon startup." Whenever I just run LOOT and short plugins an APPLY button appear, but I don't think the load order has changed every single time. Where should I see that my load has changed? Thanks.

  16. My SKSE.ini is configured as how STEP Guide writes. I am using the DL pre-conf skse.ini version with tint 768/256 patch. I'll try DSI Low Resolution version. btw: Which version is recommended from BFS. - BSA or - Loose file version? "To achieve the best results, “Loose files†(non-BSA) versions of mods should be used when available. If a "loose files" version is not available, simply use the BSA version. DO NOT extract BSAs unless specifically instructed to do so in the installation instructions!" STEP Guide does not mention use the Loose version of BFS. But, there is. If I am not mistaken in earlier version of STEP Guide Loose version was recommended. Feedback: Switched to DSI LoRes, killed lots of chicken and seems to me stable. I hope it is solved that issue. I wasn't really active here, just usually read this topic and followed the STEP project. I have two general bug whith my Skyrim. - My games usually freezes when I use flames magic effect try to "kill" enemies; - Ma games usually freezes when at the 1st time we reach Riverwood. With Hadvar or Ralof, it does not really matter. Right after they says "we are almost to Riverwood" and turning to tha last "corner" in front of Riverwood. I have of course some other well known mostly Immersions mods installed as well, with patches if they needed, COT and the latest ENB but just for Shadow fixing, no other effect. The first one which is related to fire spell effect is really annoying me, and don't know why this is happen. :( I understood this topic is mainly for report bugs, and I do not want to spam this topic. Please help me, where can I ask some infos about my problems? Thanks! Really thanks!
  18. It is a little bit complicated to me. :( I use STEP Extended patch. Do not really understand what will happen if I load ADS first then AOS? Or the opposite load AOS first and after ADS? So, which one is better?

Now, I'm again confused. :( So, how can I understand these META instructions? For instance: Load AOS after those pathces, or load those patches after AOS? If yes, I should load those plugin after AOS, than ADS description is wrong? How, I understand: According to STEP guide I should load ADS before AOS. But on to the ADS site it says I should load AOS before ADS. I hope anyone understand what I tried to express? :/ It's hard to express myself, but they seem to opposite, or I understand META infos wrong. :/

  21. Also, something I bit confusing me. I have installed STEP Extended. 1st version: Downloaded every single patch for every mods which are require patches. 2nd: I'd like to use STEP Patches. If I have STEP Extended I need 2 STEP Patch? - STEP Extended Patch.esp Change Priority: 989000 Use these bash tags: Stats, Names, Delev, Relev - STEP Combined PluginHF.esp (this plugin does not require any Bash info?) Am I right? Followed the following instruction: Choosing the correct plugin: Do you own every DLC? Yes, go to Step 2. No, go to Step 4.Are you installing all of the STEP Core mods? Yes, go to Step 3. No, go to Step 4.Are you installing all of the STEP Extended mods? Yes, use the STEP Extended Patch. No, use the STEP Core Patch.Do you own Dragonborn? Yes, go to Step 5. No, you cannot use any of the STEP provided plugins.Do you own Hearthfire? Yes, use the STEP Combined PluginHF. No, use the STEP Combined Plugin.
