[WIP] Merge Plugins Standalone {PUBLIC BETA}
kranazoli replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
Okay. Something is confusing me or you, I guess. At the scripted version of Merge Plugin tutorial videos plugins were after each other: plugin 1 plugin 2 plugin 3 etc... without any break, any other mods among them. This is how we should use this standalone version as well? (Sry, I do not really understand your last statement, maybe the lack of my english knowledge) :/ 2.0.1.30 Didn't stop launching, but got this error. -
[WIP] Merge Plugins Standalone {PUBLIC BETA}
kranazoli replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
Hey, 1.) Video: I see, and you are right. I do hope Gopher or Gamerpoets will make a nice presentaion video from this very useful and also looking good standalone version of the mod. 2.) About BSA merge I have an idea what is it, but I have never heard about "Handle Script Fragments". I'll have to find out some infos about... 3.) At this moment, the most time consuming stuff for me with this new tool, to find the mods I want to merge together. I am not joking. But maybe I am the weaker one. :) -
[WIP] Merge Plugins Standalone {PUBLIC BETA}
kranazoli replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
This Standalone Merge Utility is Marvellous! Great Job! I've got some plugins which I hadn't managed to Merge with the script version and with this utility I have managed to make the merge files. Firstly, I was afraid of possibly my knowledge will not get enough to use this tool, but fortunately it is very easy to use! Ps.: But a great demonsration video would be more useful, just in addition the description section. But there's one thing I am not sure wheter should I set these values? And just one request, or recommendation: a search box would be useful in my opinion at the left side, where the mods are. Just like for instance how LOOT has. -

Hi, Without your support and your knowledge and your eagle eye :) I would have never ever find out what was going on. I thought lots of things, and tried a lot stuff but that one, using different language (which is nothing more, just an mod in MO) could cause that kind of issue. Really thanks again!

Are you jealous?

Dear Greg, Also thank you for you as well, for this explanation. Because totally accidently this option "solved" my issue (LOOT warning) is it adviced to use this function, for instance any mods? Still fon't really know wheter it is a good tool, or not. "so it's quite possible that TES5Edit compressed these records in the saved mod whereas these records in the original mod were not compressed. This would explain why the mod you saved is smaller than the original mod you opened." But, that's a good thing, or not? For instance: Now, what I've done with Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp: 1.) Reverted back the original version of the mod 2.) Disabled my language pack 3.) Now, I could clean those 3 ITM records +1) I could also use that Mark Modified option, feature on that cleaned mod, and the mod size again got smaller. Why do not we use that tool in general? I guess it has a reason, because I have never read about this feature in connection with cleaning mod, but atm it seems to me maybe a useful step. Thank you!

Okay, so now I loaded my esp without the Hungarian language mod, which is just an MO mod. And yes, in this case I have found those ITMs: Removing: FortNeugrad02 "Fort Neugrad Prison" [CELL:0001CE8A] [Removing "Identical to Master" records done] Processed Records: 389, Removed Records: 3, Elapsed Time: 00:00 [undeleting and Disabling References done] Processed Records: 386, Undeleted Records: 0, Elapsed Time: 00:00 "What you can do, is to remove these 3 records from "Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp" manually, which should resolve the situation." It's a little bit complicated to me. I have cleaned lots of mod where my Hungraian language pack was enabled. Is it bad?! It would be better to disable Hungarian language mod under cleaning? Mark Modified: I see, CRC, etc, ... Ok! Thank you! Now, I am a little bit confused about other plugins which I cleaned via Tes5Edit when my Hungarian language pack was enabled. Do I have to do anything now? And what if I remove Hungarian Language pack, clean ITMs from Remove Interior fog v2 original, and after enable language pack again? So, using language pack now a little bit confused me. :( "What you can do, is to remove these 3 records from "Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp" Exactly which 3 records should I remove? I guess I got it. Sry! I haven't thought that my language pack is the guilty one. That was very obvious for me to use my language pack! Now I have a question: I have cleaned several mods where my Hungarian language pack was enabled in MO. ITM issues, and other ones. Is there anything that I can do now with this mods? I mean all of the official ESM files, and other mods as well. Cloud that type of mod cleaning cause any issue? Bug? And so on... ? I must confess, now I'm upset stomach. And afraid of I have done something bad thing. F*cking language pack. But, I didn't read anywhere if I am right that language pack can cause issues. Now, what I've done with Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp: 1.) Reverted back the original version of the mod 2.) Disabled my language pack 3.) Now, I could clean those 3 ITM records 4.) Enabled my language pack again via MO Is this good? Please guys, I need some support : 1.) How should I clean mods with different language pack enabled in MO? 2.) Do I have to do anything with mods, that I have cleaned by Tes5Edit while Hungarian language pack was enabled? 3.) And anything useful ideas, tips, and so on, ... pStyl3: I really love your support. A big very thank for your goog eyes. :) Honestly, I was thinking about everything, use different Tes5Edit but language pack. Grrrrrr!

[CELL:00021594] [CELL:000399D1] [CELL:0001CE8A] But, these are all in Skyrim.esm file. I haven't done anything by manual. :O You manually searched ITMs, I am LOST! I also have those Blocks as well, now checked it. But still got it, how did you managed to clean those 3 ITMs. My side always: [00:02] Background Loader: [update.esm] Building reference info. No ITMs. Someone let me know if I get it. :) I just chose that, and after LOOT warning has gone away and my .esp file size reduced from 66KB -> 63KB But, I didn't make anything by manually, or direct. This was just an accident. And I have no idea what does it did? What does that option make(made)... On your side these lines looked like somehow like that? [Removing "Identical to Master" records done] Processed Records: 389, Removed Records: 3, Elapsed Time: 00:00 [undeleting and Disabling References done] Processed Records: 389, Undeleted Records: 3, Elapsed Time: 00:00 That's the point I don't understand. I have never read topic for cleaning ITMs records. Just 10 sec, and everything worked fine auto. (LOOT topic, GitHub, WHY?!) :o :O for cleaning ITMs? I have never heard about that. Tes5Edit Load esp Apply Filter... Remove ITMs UDR Done! Forgot!

Don't really undertood. :/ Sry! :/ I also downloaded again from Nexus. Yes, I saw that records you posted, but whatever I tried I haven't cleaned them. I still do not really know, how did you remove those ITMs? The general ITM cleaning method? As I posted the screens? That process doesn't removed for me nothing. After the last step UDR I could close Tes5Edit and didn't saved anything, because didn't remove anything. I must say, I didn't searched topics and so on... Interesting. Still don't get it...

I guess, you didn't understand what I tried to explain, and question. Ok, I see maybe masterlist bug, LOOT stuff, bla-bla, ... What I do not understand that what happened with the esp file when I accidently clicked at Mark Modified. Right Click on an esp file. After that my ESP file size reduced from 66KB -> 63KB But I haven't done anything else than before several times with that esp file. Clean ITM records process. General ITM cleaning process. + right click at the .esp file -> Mark Modified and saved. This is what I do not understand, what does it mean: " "Mark Modified – It will mark the currently selected node and all child nodes as modified. To minimize the chance that XEdit breaks something that it doesn't fully understand when saving, only records that are marked as modified are assembled field by field, sub record by sub record. Any record or even complete group that is not marked as modified is simply copied unchanged as a blob of bytes from the old module file into the newly saved one." https://www.creationk...t_Documentation Sry, do not really got what does it mean. :( My modding and english knowledge is limited... " I don't know wheter is it good, or not but THIS removed the ITMs warning from LOOT. If someone could explain that some kind of user friendly, I would be glad. I have never used that before. Now, just accidently. Thanks!

It is very strange! EDITED: Could anyone tell me what does this do mean exactly? Is it good, or bad?... TES5Edit Documentation Main Context Menu "Mark Modified – It will mark the currently selected node and all child nodes as modified. After I have done all the same ITM cleaning process again nothing changed. Doesn't matter which Tes5Edit I used. So, nothing changed. And accidently I saw that option at right click menu ---> Mark Modified. I thought, what could happen, if something will be wrong I can reinstall the mod, or revert backup. I was surprised, as I chnaged that option my esp plugin went to bold. Hmmm.... I saved the plugin, inspite of the fact I didn't changed anything. And secondly I was surprised when I saw, the size of the esp file got smaller. Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp 66KB Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp 63KB (After chosen Mark Modified via Tes5Edit) But, I didn't make anything. As you see above, I have tried to clean those 3 ITM, but nothing happened. After load that smaller, modified plugin again, same the things above, but that time it is kept 63KB. After, I got an esp file I haven't used them yet. Done everything like above. I have chosen Mark Modified and saved that esp file. But the size does not changed. Now, at LOOT I do not get ITM warning for Remove Interior fog plugin. I am not 100% sure it works great, haven't had enough time to test it (with and without). So, Dear Skyrim Guru :) what did I made exactly, by accidently? And is it good? Or "harmful", not good, ... ANY(!) support really appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, Is there some kind of workarounds to put his mod some kind of exception in LOOT? https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5655-cant-clean-a-mod-with-tes5edit/?p=140802 It is clean, but LOOT always shows its warning title, bla-bla... It is clean. At least, for me I haven't managed to clean it via Tes5Edit. Apply filter ---> Remove Identical ---> Undelete and disable ref. Nothing. Doesn't have LOOT a whitelist plugin, or anything like that? It's so frustrating. Why couldn't I tell LOOT "Hey! It's clean". :/

[WIP] Mator Smash
kranazoli replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
You are a Sir! Or Two! :) Thanks again for your replies. At this time I keep using Wrye Bash and follow Mator Smash topic. -
Okay, after that discussion, how what is your opinion about Hunterborn? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33201/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D33201%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D939546&pUp=1 unuroboros 78 kudos 1338 posts "Do not clean them. ITM's are not always dirty. Cleaning them will break the Strange Claw questline." Thank you!
-
Ok! Thank you all of your support. I have cleaned every mods which required by LOOT. Only two exceptions: - Hunterborn I also wrote at the mod topic, why do not sign towards LOOT Team that handle Hunterborn like GDO, because if it's still true that harmful to clean it, lots of fellows will clean because LOOT said that. - Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp Contains 3 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit. I just can't able to clean it. It looks clean, but LOOT says it should be clean. Ps.: Don't you guys know, why can't we add a mod as a custom exception or whitelist via LOOT. Which is okay dirty, understood but please do not bother me the annoying cleaning that mod warnings?

[WIP] Mator Smash
kranazoli replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
Hi, "Depends on who you talk to. I think it's fine, but hishutup thinks it's a bad idea because you'll get records patching that you don't want to be patching. Smash is blind - if it sees a conflict in a record/subrecord that is not excluded, it will resolve it." First and foremost, thank you, your read my "stupid" and long questions and also thank you for the answer. Be sure, I am not a half God Skyrim Guru like you guys. :) So far, os could I could understand what is the issue, problem with Tes5Edit Merged Patch (as a pre Wrye Bash patch) and Wrye Bash. But for me, using Wrye Bash at this time, with its lots guide, every guide use that tool yet (STEP; Skyrim Legendary) plus extra YT video guides and so on, made me that I can use WB easily, can manage my mods, etc... And I really love that I almost do not have to do anything. Just run it, read the STEP or Legendary WB guide, some click and my Wrye Bash patch has done, or rebuild again within 1 minutes, without I should care everything. I mean that, so called some kind of user friendly, automated, ... Easy to use. As easy to use Mator Smash just how I tried to describe. Load my whole plugin list, click apply script, waiting, patching done, and everyone is happy. But if it is require more manual procedure, so I must say I would need more user guide + videos to understand how should I properly use Mator Smash tool and forget Wrye Bash. Change to Mator from Wrye Bash. A little bit polishing my knowledge: :) Is that order fine? (if I choose Mator Smash) 0.) Deactivate my Tes5Merged patch and Bashed Patch 1.) Deactivate any plugins which were created after Bashed Patch, every single SkyProc plugin 2.) Use Mator Smash, how I can handle at this moment yet and creating patch file 3.) Activate Mator Smash patch file and continue to finish my other patches And use that Mator Smash patch instead of Wrye Bash patch. If it is more or less okay, there's immediately one thing I miss: - Wrye Bash merge plugin feature. If I use Mator ones as I described above, I didn't notice Mator Smash merged unnecessary plugins and save my load order. Reducing my esp files, ... In conclusion, what do you recommend for me: 1.) I still continue using Wrye Bash how I've been doing it for a long time; or 2.) Change Mator Smash Ps: I guess, from what I wrote more or less you know about my Skyrim modding knowledge. The most important thing for me, stability and reliability. Edit: How long the Mator Smash process take does not matter for me. It is nothing compare to DynDOLOD. ;) Thank you! -
Okay, you are zilav and I am who I am. I am sure you can solve any kind of issue with your knowledge, but I am just a player. Two mod authors said that, no three of them they have no idea what will happen if I clean they mods. They said, they are working fine with those ITMs records, as well. But as you read the mod author of Hunterborn mod said do not clean Hunterborn. If I am not mistaken there are others: Guard Dialog Overhaul, and one more... Honestly I do not really understand why I can't make for instance some kind of white list via LOOT. Mods I do not want to clean, but I do not want to se the annoying warning always. I am sure this conflict could be solveable by a proper patch if anything has gone wrong way, but I am still hesitate what would be the good choice. I know, if I clean for instance Hunterborn and it is true that cleaning that mod break the mentioned quest line, I don't have the knowledge to solve that issue, and mod authors mostly retired. They are passive, etc... Ps: Helgen Reborn which is also has ITM records: "Not necessary because it's been cleaned record by record. The first set are not errors but simply warmings and are showing up because of how the aliases work in those packages. The so called ITM's are in a completely custom worldspace and it's beyond me how a custom worldspace can show ITM records." I have fixed these issues: [00:00] Checking for Errors in [02] Helgen Reborn.esp [00:04] BalokGuardsRadiant05ToKorst [PACK:020DEC04] [00:04] PACK \ Package Data \ Data Input Values \ Value \ PLDT - Location \ Location Value -> <Warning: Quest Alias not found in "BalokRadiant05 "Changing of the Guard" [QUST:02023591]"> [00:04] BalokGuardsRadiant04ToKorst [PACK:020DEC03] [00:04] PACK \ Package Data \ Data Input Values \ Value \ PLDT - Location \ Location Value -> <Warning: Quest Alias not found in "BalokRadiant04 "Changing of the Guard" [QUST:02023590]"> [00:04] BalokGuardsHerdRadiant03ToKorst [PACK:020DEC02] [00:04] PACK \ Package Data \ Data Input Values \ Value \ PLDT - Location \ Location Value -> <Warning: Quest Alias not found in "BalokRadiant03 "Changing of the Guard" [QUST:0202358F]"> [00:04] BalokGuardJotoRadiant02ToKorst [PACK:020DEC01] [00:04] PACK \ Package Data \ Data Input Values \ Value \ PLDT - Location \ Location Value -> <Warning: Quest Alias not found in "BalokRadiant02 "Changing of the Guard" [QUST:0202358E]"> [00:04] All Done! [WIP] Mator Smash
kranazoli replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
Hi, I've been using and know (able to use, ...) Tes5Merged Patch as a pre Bashed Patch plugin (deleted Leveled Items, Cleaned Masters) + Wrye Bash ReBuild Bashed patch, ... so the well known method. (but Tes5Merged Patch still a little bit new for me). But this whole process took me just some minutes and after makeing other SkyProc plugins... I have heard about Mator Smash before, but didn't read topics and more infos about it. 1.) Is it good to load my whole plugin list via Tes5Edit and run Mator Smash script? Enabled every plugins, leave everything by default in Mator settings, and creating the Mator Smash patch file? (I've done it, but to be honest I am do not really understand that tool yet, as how I know Tes5Edit and Wrye Bash) I am not sure at all, wheter it is okay or not like that way? Or this is a little bit more complicated than how I think about that? :) If not, so it is good, it is how should we use I have some other question: 2.) Still needed, good, better to make a Tes5Merged Patch before Mator ones? Or this is absolutely unnecessary? 3.) I guess in this case, I can disable any plugins which was created after Bashed Patch? (ASIS; Dual Sheat Redux) 4.) After the patch is created I can run those Patches the same as before? 5.) Does it matter what title I give this Mator patch .esp? (Mator; MatorSmash, etc...) Sry, as I said I do not really know that tool yet! I'm sure it is must be very useful, and more clever than Wrye Bash and we will use this tool later, ... but do not really found as much infos about it, then the other ones. I use STEP Extended + REGS + SR-LE. I know I guess tools which are mentioned and required by STEP and Skyrim Legendary. At this moment I don't really know why should we use that tool instead of Wrye Bash, but I am sure it has sense, etc, etc, ... Thank you for any support! And sorry! -
I have this issue with: Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp LOOT Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp Contains 3 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit. But also nothing to clean. Strange...
-
Hey, I am not sure wheter I am at the right topic, or not. :/ But found this one suitable. I have some mods with cleanable ITMs, but I am not sure should I clean them, or shouldn't. Tried to ask mod authors, but lots of topic are inactive or mod authors also didn't know the exact answer. (Just, to be safe and make backup, etc...) These mods are: 1.) The Oblivion Realms Serie - Morthal Pain ORS_MorthalPain.esm [Removing "Identical to Master" records done] Processed Records: 13367, Removed Records: 8 2.) Relighting Skyrim-No JIT (Legendary) Ext. + Int. RelightingSkyrim_Legendary.esp [Removing "Identical to Master" records done] Processed Records: 17182, Removed Records: 4 3.) Helgen Reborn Helgen Reborn.esp [Removing "Identical to Master" records done] Processed Records: 27251, Removed Records: 7 4.) Custom Family Home (Optional Additional Familiy Room) Custom Family Home.esp [Removing "Identical to Master" records done] Processed Records: 162, Removed Records: 8 These are which ones LOOT does not sign as "faulty" plugins, but they have ITMs. Other mods, which were signed by LOOT I have cleaned. I need some infos. Thank you! Ps: "The automated cleaning function "Remove Identical To Masters records" take care of everything and is safe to use." I've read that one. :) For instance: Hunterborn also has ITMs, but according to the mod author do not clean those ITM records, because they a quest line. Do not clean them. ITM's are not always dirty. Cleaning them will break the Strange Claw questline.

Hey TechAngel, It looks like Sparrow try to find some kind of solution about that issue, but you are not just simple an Angel, it's rather a half God. :) Really thank you, that you suddenly thought about BDS could be the reason of this issue. Edit: exactly the same time... :) Thank you!
