SKYRIMLE Equipping Overhaul by Dragondude 1029
darthbdaman replied to mightyusaid's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
You have to uninstall DSR and then just install the meshes folder from the main DSR file, and then all of the patches for mods you have from the DSR page. Hope that helps. -
SKYRIMLE Equipping Overhaul by Dragondude 1029

No it is real stable. It does flicker a bit when switching weapons or adding more favourites. But in terms of stability I'd trust it more than DSR. -

There is a spell that retrieves the weapons you drop if you happen to lose them. Or you could turn the unequip feature off. I have been testing the new version and it is amazing. Functions as a Dual Sheath Redux, Drop Lit Torches and Auto Unequip Ammo all in one. -

DROPPED Elven Weapons for Silence (by Erlioniel)

Should this mod be taken out of the guide considering it is no longer neccesary, the weapon textures have already be done by cabal -
ACCEPTED aMidianBorn Book of Silence (by CaBaL)

A new plugin has been released that has support for multiple texture variants. I'm not sure how well this fits into the STEP mandate, but it looks pretty cool. -

Most people say that it does. I have not seen anyone actually test it though. -
STEP type guide for Fallout New Vegas
darthbdaman replied to Synixtrix's topic in General Fallout 3 Discussion & Support
After a bit of tweaking a while back I was able to fix the problems with the 4gb patch and ENB. Using the shortcut parameters you can force the exectuable from the fnv4g patch to load in the Fallout New Vegas Folder, which will load the .dll files properly. My shortcut looks like this: ^Your path to the 4gb patcher^\fnv4gb.exe -exe "^Your path to steam^\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas\FalloutNV.exe" -laaexe "^Your path to steam^\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas\FalloutNV4gb.exe" Hopefully this works for others. -
SKYRIMLE Player Size Adjuster (by Imp of the Perverse)

Which is why I think its great for STEP. Small fix that doesn't change anything dramatic. -
SKYRIMLE Player Size Adjuster (by Imp of the Perverse)
darthbdaman replied to darthbdaman's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
My problem with that mod is that it requires a unique installation for each race. Player Size Adjuster only requires one installation. This is especially valuable if all you want is the first person fix. -
Player Size Adjuster This is mod re-positions the first person height of the player to be accurate to their races height. It also includes and MCM menu that lets you change your height, and your height when you are a werewolf or vampire lord I really love this mod, as I always found the default first person height to be to low when playing a taller race. This fixes that problem. It also appears to work perfectly with XP32 Maximum Skeleton.

I think Double Cursor Fix and Borderless Window should be removed. ENB contains options for the Double Cursor Fix and Borderless Window. These work very well and I have had no problems using them. Using Borderless Window and Double Cursor Fix is rather redundant when the options in both are already contained with ENB, even if your only using it for ENBoost. If anyone else uses the ENB options over Borderless window, and has anything to add that would be awesome.

When the update comes out you should be able to drop Auto Unequip Ammo as well, as he stated it would include similar options. -

I'm suggesting Belt-Fastened Quivers - Skeleton Replacer. Fixes some annoying clipping with wet and cold backpacks.

SKYRIMLE Belt-Fastened Quivers - Skeleton Replacer
darthbdaman replied to darthbdaman's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
On further inspection it isn't fixed. I am going to guess that this is just a vanilla issue. If anyone wants to check their crossbows and see if they are clipping in vanilla, it would be greatly appreciated. But all these problems are unrelated to belt fastened quivers, which works great and I think should be added to S.T.E.P -

SKYRIMLE Belt-Fastened Quivers - Skeleton Replacer
darthbdaman replied to darthbdaman's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I tested them. They appear to work fine together. And something interesting i found with dual sheathe redux. The crossbow is clipping through the body while it it is being. The crossbow is stuck halfway into the body. it is definitely dual sheathe redux doing this. -
SKYRIMLE Belt-Fastened Quivers - Skeleton Replacer
darthbdaman replied to darthbdaman's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
From what I saw in the comments section, they are not incompatible so to speak, more redundant together, as they are trying to fix the same issue in different ways. I will test them together to see if they work properly. -
I personally don't think this should be included in STEP. While I have no problem with the mod itself, it changes the balance of dual wielding quite dramatically. The dual wielding was balanced with lack of blocking in mind, and, IMO, giving dual wielding blocking makes it totally superior to single wielding, and sword and board.

Belt-Fastened Quivers - Skeleton Replacer This is a standalone addon for Frostfall, which does not require it. It re-positions the quivers to your belt so that they do not clip with backpacks, like those included in Wet and Cold. This reduces a lot of the clipping on your back, including clipping present in vanilla, like that with bows and two-handed weapons. XP32 Maximum Skeleton now includes a version that supports the Belt-Fastened Quivers - Skeleton Replacer, so I see no reason to not use, as it fixes what I would consider bugs in vanilla.
