Yes, I was using the installer.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled MO completely to see if the issue persists?

Skyrim Tweaks Website
TechAngel85 replied to Deathwing514's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Only by monitoring the game with software like Skyrim Performance Monitor both with and without the tweaks will you be able to see any affect on performance and have evidence to back it up. Then you would need at least one or two more people to do the same to test whether results can be duplicated. -
I'm assuming you're launching SKSE via MO to start the game? I just tested this on my vanilla profile and had no issues with the new version; however, I did have to completely uninstall the old version and reinstall the new one for MO to work properly.
-
Without mesh replacements, it is essentially AOF, but I'll include it if I still have that example.I'm talking about just the mod in it's entirety...even it comes coupled with the mesh improvements in it's install package. Did you just include the texture in the "without fixes" or did you also include any meshes the mods came with?

New update! Now with splash effects! I'll be putting together the final comparison for STEP today and tomorrow between WATER and this mod.

RC 1.0 released today! If you haven't been using the Beta versions (like myself), it's now considered stable enough to upgrade. Go get it now! Actually...you might want to hold off. MO is now crashing every time I install a new mod. I'm going to backup, uninstall and do a fresh install to see if it fixes the issue. Doing a fresh install seemed to have fixed the issue.

This was too touching to not share it: [video=youtube] Giving out of the kindness of your heart without expecting anything in return when you're able is true giving and true kindness... It's sadly a little too rare in today's society.

That's true. I think it'll take running around in-game for a bit with each of these top contenders before I'll be able to decide my favorite. I'll try to be objective because I've used Ewis V1 for a good while and really like it (mainly because it gets away from the boring vanilla grey without going too far into left field...it is still a bit "vanilla-ish")

ACCEPTED Superior Lore-Friendly Hair - HD textures (by skyrimaguas)
TechAngel85 replied to FCqt's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'm also of the opinion that SLFH - Rough is the best option. I've been running around with it installed in-game for some time now in a Core profile and I have to say that it looks really good. Especially combined with the higher detail from Beards and Brows; matches well. Vanilla is simply horrible, IMO. AOF smooths out vanilla slightly; however, also darkens the color of the hair a bit too much. Superior and Superior with optionals are simply to "salon". Superior Rough smooths out the hair so it doesn't look like a clumped mess and while maintaining the vanilla color better than AOF. -
Soooo.... are the USA servers ever going to sync? I'm having to download the SMIM update from London right now...

I am excited to see your ENB release, Aiyen. Even if I can't use it atm. I'm planning a new system build come tax time (February-ish) to get my gaming off this laptop and onto a system that can handle most modern games maxed out. I'll probably be switching laptops with a friend once that happens so that he can better game as well. This Asus G7 has served me well, but it's time to move up.
-
Just... no Aiyen could you please set Zed straight on ENB's please? Z actually has his own ENB preset that he developed from SkyRealism. I think Z is talking about the options that are available in SkyRealism. MTich has created a preset to please nearly anyone. He's not just another preset author though:
-
I've always preferred SkyRealism as well; however, I was impressed with those that I posted. Too much bloom in most all ENBs for my liking but that's an easy fix.

Oh damn!Have you applied the Non-ENB-patch? Hoped I sorted out all moving formations, it seems I've overseen one... Could you please add a pic of your map location so I can reedit it and add it to the patch? :) I have not, I'll do that real quick.... Done. That fixed it! Sorry for the heart attack! Haha! WOW ... Ewis looks like a fantastic alternative. I will add this to the compare as well. Also, SMIM half-sized and ultra-sized variants are only textures, not meshes... and they have very little impact in my experience. I first started using Ewis because I was so sick of the vanilla grey paint and have really grown to love it. Here a quick compare video that someone did for more interest: [video=youtube]https-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QErcyQ_0pA

Just some information for everyone... I've done some performance compares with SMIM Vanilla (SMIM half-sized)Â >>Â Vanilla (SMIM Full-sized)Â >>Â RS&M (SMIM half-sized)Â >>Â RS&M (SMIM full-sized) The performance change isn't noticeable on my system. I also noticed on this run that Terrain Bump makes RS&M look just plain awful! So those conflicting files would need to be removed from TB if RS&M is chosen. One issue popped up during this test and here is a video I put together that shows some "texture slipping" with RS&M: [video=youtube]https-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzRdPeGYc1g The video isn't that high quality because it was just a quick toss together. The second texture in the video is one that I've been using on my personal profile: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27926/
