What priority for Cleaned Master Files?
MonoAccipiter replied to Ellegon's question in Mod Organizer Support
Hi, Ellegon! If you've cleaned the plugins and put them in seperate folders you want to put these folders after the unmanaged ones to make MO use the cleaned .esps. -
Optimizing mods - nothing happens
MonoAccipiter replied to alsedexus's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
Hi, alsedexus! Have you ran the game and experienced performance issues? If not, it might not be worth the hassle to perform the optimization. As for the batchfile, it should work as promised; are you sure you haven't skipped a line in the instructions? Perhaps you forgot to give each mod its separate folder within the "Mod Extracted" folder? -

I believe he means to say that the body will look weird if he started shrinking body parts at random. I for one see the value of the aesthetic argument. If you're not too fond of the Readius mod, which frankly, I'm not either; you can opt for the Pip-Boy 2500 which Gopher uses. Lore wise, that's a solid choice as it was (AFAIK) the Pip-Boy model used in the original Fallout games. It should produce the same result as the Readius, leading to no arm-clipping. -
Missing Steam_api.dll and Binkw32.dll, can't start game
MonoAccipiter replied to Dragomir7's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Try copying Steam.exe into the game folder as suggested here. For now I suggest you look at trying to launch the base game from the steam client (without any mods whatsoever) and move onto using the nvse_loader.exe if that works. -

From the Roberts Male Body Nexus page. -
Whenever I draw my hunting revolver I'm greeted by the ghastly sight of its bullet cylinder clipping into the gun cock. This fixes itself after firing a shot, but is still rather annoying. The bug occured after I reinstalled FNV (my harddrive died). Attached an example.

Missing Steam_api.dll and Binkw32.dll, can't start game
MonoAccipiter replied to Dragomir7's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Does the game launch if you only use the nvse_loader.exe? If not, does it launch if you do it through steam (with the launcher)? Did you install FNV somewhere in the Program Files folder by any chance? -
Game simply won't start?
MonoAccipiter replied to azayrahmad's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
These mods shouldn't conflict (I run them in concord myself), are you sure none of the files you downloaded were corrupt? Also, have you ran LOOT and made a bashed patch? Are you sure you added no more mods, or skipped anything else than the ones you listed? -

Don't know if you have done it yet, but it saves you some hassle if you make a backup of the game (+DLC) plugins that you presumeably have cleaned with FNVedit, as Steam will replace the cleaned files. Otherwise check that files haven't ended up in the wrong folder (do a search), if so drag them to the root game folder. If they are there and you still get the same error, try running the game as an admin. -
My game seems to have an issue whenever something is placed in a cell as already dead (rotting brahmin corpses for example), where the corpses are static/immovable at placement. This results in some very disfigured brahmin along the roads of New Vegas, and the already dead securitrons in Old World Blues floating a few meters above the ground. I usually fix this by resurrecting and then killing them, but it would be nice to get to the root of the problem.

SKYRIMLE RGX - The Redguard Expansion - Exotic DLC (by RedRayne)

From the nexus page (1.8.15). Looks cool, but I might have been distracted by the Swedish song in the trailer. =|:) -
pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
MonoAccipiter replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Housing is always very tricky to incorporate because so much of it is up to taste. I personally don't enjoy the housing mods with tons of mannequins, displays and the sort, as it makes me feel like I'm living in a museum. I haven't touched upon REGS in a long time, so I can't say why exactly they've avoided including housing, but I would think that's part of the reason. @Pheanox: Unless you have any experience with the Creation Kit I think it would be a rather daunting task, sadly. I'm not 100% qualified to speak on this, however, so I might be wrong. -

JIP has released a new lightweight UI-mod for the recipe/crafting interface called JIP Improved Recipe Menu, fixing some annoyances such as the amount limit and the window closing every time you made something. Perhaps this is something for F&LNV? -
10 Elder Scrolls Facts
MonoAccipiter replied to rootsrat's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Knew some of these, but not all. IIRC there are several different takes on the creation myth he brings up at the end, but as he pointed out it was a very compressed version. Found it very interesting (and amusing) nonetheless! Thanks for sharing. ^^ -

Solved itself. -
Actors Turning Invisible in Interior Spaces
MonoAccipiter posted a question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Certain interiors seem to have spaces where all actors (including my character) turns invisible, only displaying their shadow. This seem to be defined by some invisible wall, where if I step outside I turn visible, and vice versa. The only mod I have on top of the guide is Dynavision, but disabling that seemed to have no effect. Example from Pearl's Barracks: https://imgur.com/WtL5heF (this was taken in third person) EDIT:I was too hasty, it was indeed Dynavision, but disabling it on interiors wasn't enough. Apologies. -
Broken Interior Cell
MonoAccipiter replied to MonoAccipiter's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
My bad. Should have pointed out I skipped that mod, as I hadn't played the game in a long time and didn't mind the default start. So I doubt that's the culprit. Haven't installed anything on top of the guide though, just skipped a couple of mods. So it has to be from something included. EDIT: The Nellis Med Bay seems to be without any lights at all, any idea on what's causing this? The shack I can just ignore, but this is kinda annoying. Just haven't played with such dark interiors before, forgot that it was part of a quest. -
I stumbled across a building called "Abandon shack" [sic] which has nothing but two doors in its interior cell (which is interesting considering it has only 1 on the outside). By nothing I mean absolutely nothing, no walls, no floor, only the two doors. I keep falling down and reappearing at the entrance, so I haven't been able to reach the second door. Don't know whether this is a mistake of mine, or something inherant in a mod (I would guess NVInteriors Project), hence the support thread. The shack is located in North Vegas: https://imgur.com/x8jiteN

Origin of the Mages Guild (by Giskard)
MonoAccipiter replied to MonoAccipiter's topic in Oblivion Mods
Thank you, Aiyen. I believe at least Better Cities has some compatibility patch for it (mentioning it in the latest patch notes), but IIRC there was a conflict between it and OOO because OMG replaced a cupboard (with a non-respawning version) which OOO used as a quest target. UESP says the following about the matter (the link to the patch is broken): -

GUIDE Mythic Dawn: Gateway to Oblivion WIP
MonoAccipiter replied to hishutup's topic in Oblivion - Mythic Dawn
I'm inclined to agree, the persuasion mini-game seems very tedious and pointless and doesn't really simulate persuasion the way the lockpicking mini-game simulates, well, picking locks. In addition it becomes really easy after a while. The second link you put up looks much more like something I'd like, similar to the way Bioware does persuasion in their games (and Obsidian with F:NV). I choosing between the two offered, I'd definitely opt for the latter, as the first simply seems to cut away the feature, with the Persuasion Overhaul actually making it into something interesting.
