  1. Ok, here we go. Vanilla DLC >> ISW >> Webs            Â
  2. Well, either the 1.9 update is not available in UK yet, or STEAM here does not block the game when you disable auto updates. I still have 1.8 installed, have Auto Updates disabled in STEAM and I can still play.
  3. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33718/ Freshly released. I have really crappy monitor at work, but I'm keen on checking how it compares to Intricate Spider Webs that STEP currently suggests. Any thoughts? What is needed from Mod Testers: New comparison shots Comparison of: Webs v0.1 vs Webs v0.2Winner of above compare vs Intricate Spider Webs (ISW)If Webs wins overall, a comparison of the egg sack textures from Webs vs ISWBoth versions completely overwrite ISW with the new optional egg sack textures, so this will be a complete replacement as long as Webs wins in all compares. Denied for STEP v2.2.5 ISW provides more believable webs overall. --Thanks to rootsrat, Neovalen and hylskrik for supplying the screens and analysis.
  4. I love making up stories for my chars with LAL. I have a document with 10 characters with background stories, full characteristics and description of my protagonists, along with a goal they will try to achieve in game - however I don't consider it game over when they die - I want to have some fun, so I allow reloading. Love RP! I always say that role playing games are just as much fun as YOU allow them to be. After all, the original, table top RP games were all happening in player's imagination. To me PC (or a console, even though I despise them!) is just a tool to enhance the RP experience. But I am in my 30s, so maybe a bit oldschool... Sorry for this slight OT.
  5. On my way to work atm, but I'll check it out when I'm back home. Post reserved. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Eh, good old times of ARJ... :)
  7. Yes, but we live on Earth in XXI century where everyone has satnav in their mobile phone - unlike Skyrim's Nord folk ;) I can imagine the signs being more dense in the past? Besides Skyrim's main roads are more an equivalent of todays motorways than a countryside I think - you get LOTS of directions when on the motorway.
  8. Ditto. Not much more to say.
  9. I always wanted a mod that would do that! Can you actually select which effects are going to be shown and which not? With all the mods I use I have quite a lot of active effects on my character at all times, I wouldn't like to get all of them on my screen, but some - effects from potions/poisons etc.
  10. Nearly makes a huge difference when it comes to both installation and load order. Can you confirm you have followed STEP to the letter?
  11. Yes, you should re-run all the SkyProc jar files. Just remember to exclude them from each other's processing by either disabling them or just editing blocked.txt file. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  12. You raise some very good points, mothergoose, that I have not noticed/considered before. I am a lore purist (to a degree), and your arguments make sense.
  13. Puddle overhaulÂ
  14. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33292 Very nice work by InsanitySorrow. Made to a hot file, so most of us probably already seen it
  15. Now, this looks really good! I'm definitely downloading it when I get back home!
  16. MO stores ini files separately for each profile (have a look in ...\Mod Organizer\Profiles folder). When you have a profile loaded up in MO and you run an(y) executable, the changes will affect only this profile. It will not affect neither the files from other profiles, nor the files in original Skyrim\Data folder. I'm not sure about the back ups.
  17. Ha! I've never ever used Steam Workshop for downloading mods... :D
  18. Please kindly refrain from shouting with CAPS...
  19. For more village animals I think the Basic one needs to go first, and Ivarstead and Rorikstead below it in any order, as both change different places and should not interfere with each other.
  20. Just bear in mind that if you're using Mod Organizer, you will need to get appropriate folders from Skyrim Data folder (textures, scripts, meshes etc. - but with contents ONLY for the mod in question) for each mod you download, as MO is using virtual Data folder - it creates a separate folder for each mod in it's own MODS folder and then virtually "merges" them together, kind of simulating Data folder. I think in order to work properly (overwrites etc.) you would need the textures, meshes etc. as well as ESPs/BSAs. Maybe Neo could confirm that, he's our MO expert afaik :)
  21. Nice find, one to keep an eye on! Love little realism mods like that. Just need to find out about compatibility.
  22. I cannot look into this fully, as I'm at work, but - the mods you highlighted in bold are unlikely to cause conflicts - I use STEP and SkyRe and I play with most of the ones you've highlighted. However, briefly looking at your load order, I can see that you have loads of ESPs loading after Reproccer.esp - this is not correct. As they are not recognised, you need to either manually move them up or create User Rules. Run BOSS_GUI.exe instead of BOSS.exe and select User Rules Management to set your own rules. Then save them and run BOSS. Footprints - Ash.esp dD-DG-DB-MonsterMod EBT Patch.esp ORM-Arvak.esp DenserGrass.esp More Salt Please - Dragonborn addon.esp MVABasic.esp MVAIvarstead.esp MVARorikstead.esp manny Lantern Caretakers.esp All these need to go up. Footprints-Ash can go below Footprints.esp, More Salt DB addon below original More Salt, I also have Lantern Caretakers and MVA, but I cannot remember now where I have placed them in my load order. Then, as far as I remember ReProccerDragonborn.esp needs to go BELOW ReProccer.esp Some more questions - do you run ReProcces via MO? Do you use Balbors SkyRe patch? Oh, just noticed - Ars Metallica will 100% conflict with SkyRe! Also, have a look at this thread and this thread, for the latter start reading from the post I linked.
