  1. Just to bear in mind to ensure that all the files are ticked. Or you can just right click the list (the one tha appears when you first open TES5EDIT) and select Enable All - that is provided that you have no mods that should NOT be enabled (an example could be an older version of Winter is Coming mod, that placed 3 esps in your Data folder, but only 1 should ever be enabled). That could indicates couple of different things, for example missing master file (ESM) or critical mod conflict. Please post your load order (just copy and paste BOSS log after you run it - make sure it's in Spoiler tags) - this should help investigating the issue.
  2. You don't need to remove the whole mod - ASIS is a highly customisable mod. You can just turn off the extra spawns. I cannot recall fully, but there may be even a way to turn off the extra spawns for bosses only - but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
  3. I'm currently using 1.7.1, but I did not play much with it installed - maybe 30 minutes, not longer. No issues though.
  4. Reopened the thread at OP's request.
  5. There seems to be an error in carrying on DLC changes to SkyTEST mod I'm unable to find this record.
  6. Hm, maybe there is more to it after all? Probably will need looking into more deeply, but: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/546499-performance-tweaks-for-smooth-gameplay/page-2 (just search for iNumThreads in your browser).
  7. FYI Latest R320beta nVidia driver is buggy (as expected with beta release, and not WHQL one) and causes problems with ENB and possibly other ones too. The last stable WHQL driver that is not causing any problems is 314.22. Hope this will help some of you douse some graphic problems, as it took me 4 days to figure out why my ENB is behaving weirdly and why I'm having performance drop with 2GB VRAM card :ox:
  8. Is there any particular reason STEP recommends: ?
  9. Should Bashed Patch, 0.esp be on blocklists of the patchers or should it be processed? Third option is, it's patcher-dependant... Any advice?
  10. Yes, that's exactly what I did :) I've also left Brevi's description in the patch, but I copied bit about the new spell from SkyRe's description and added it to Brevi's description in patch, so that it's accurate.
  11. OT'ing a little, but I would strongly disagree. MS section is for anybody and the fact that someone is suggesting a mod should not mean they should be forced to test it, because: 1) Some users don't have sufficient knowledge to do proper testing (I certainly didn't have it, when I joined STEP forums and started suggesting mods - I learned a lot because of STEP though :) ) 2) Time constraints - just because someone knows for sure they won't have time to do the testing should not be the reason not to recommend a mod, if it's worth it. For example - nature of my work means that I can spend a lot of time on internet, if I'm not busy. That means I spend a lot of time at work browsing Nexus for mods - but I've got very busy RL (multiple time consuming project involvement), and I really don't have the time to commit to do proper mod testing and comparisons. That doesn't mean I should stop recommending mods, no? Bottom line: everyone should have an opportunity to make a mod recommendation, and they should not feel they are expected to do the testing.
  12. Moonlight Tales has 1 conflict with SkyRe. Found and fixed last night (patch), will post details later on.
  13. That was the reason I'm asking. There is a mod called Known Enchantments or something like that and I was thinknig of using it, but if it's in SkyUI's scope than I'll wait.
  14. Are you aware of anything similar being implemented for known enchantments, Neo?
  15. Ok, I've had a look at it last night (briefly, I'm still finishing my Skyrim install, again) and some textures that are presented in the screens look very nice, but some I don't like. If majority of those items are 4k then it's not worth it I think. But if it's mixed sizes, as SRB stated, we can just place in the predetermined slot in Conflicting Graphinc section. Nevertheless, I still think it's worth making compare session, but it's a LONG session - and I myself am quite limited on time unfortunately being kept busy with RL stuff :/ I may do some compares next week, I'm off work for a few days, so I should have some spare time.
  16. Updated my previous post re Better Vampires / SkyRe conflict.
  17. Tried downloading manually and manually dropping the archive into your mod downloads folder?
  18. I get that sometimes with corrupted downloads. Redownload the file from Nexus and reinstall the mod. It shouldn't have created mod folder in your mods directory, but if it asks - select to REPLACE the mod.
  19. TPC however was a different screnario, as it was an instruction to compile predetermined mods by many different authors. What we have here though is a collection of textures by one author, and as I said in the mod suggestion thread we do recommend other packs, Skyrim HD etc. This Ultra Pack could be installed along with those other big packs and then subsequently overwritten by better separate equivalents. That's a lot of testing and comparisons to do though...
  20. We do however use stuff like Skyrim HD etc. This could be installed along with those big packs and then subsequently overwritten by better separate equivalents. That's a lot of testing and comparisons to do though... P.S. I can't determine if this pack looks good, as I the screens in my office are pretty crap quality :/ Will have a proper look at home.
  21. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35507 This a recently release compilation of all MysteryModder's textures + many more (as per the description). Apparently
  22. In regards to: A compilation of his mods + more textures was recently release under the name of Skyrim Ultra HD Texture Pack. I think we'll have work to do...! I 'll create created a separate mod page in Mod Suggestions thread.
  23. I think Animations sounds about right ;)
  24. PLACEHOLDER I'll edit this when I'm back home in 8 hours - will post what I've done to patch it. ::EDIT:: By all means, I am no modder. I know how to create patches, but I am not familiar with many types of events represented by records in ESP files. Many of them are self explanatory, so I tend to use common sense and exploratory techniques to figure out what yo patch. So: Node 0004DEE7 - Calm Copy SkyRe_Main as an override into a new file (BV-SkyRe Patch) - this ensures that all the functionality from SkyRe is retainedRight click on new Patch column, Conditions row and select ADDDrag Condition "Not equal to 15" from Better Vampires.esp to newly created condition in the patch - all the conditions were copied from SkyRe, but Better Vampires.esp contains additional Condition (Not Equal to 15), which is not in vanilla Skyrim, therefore I'm guessing it was added to BV intentionally. Conclusion: the patch requires all conditions from SkyRe and BV for both mods to work correctly together. Node 0009E0BB - Charm - Master of the Mind Copy SkyRe_Main.esp into the patch created before.Right click the the Patch column, Conditions row and select ADD twiceDrag the two overwritten Conditions from Better Vampires.esp to newly created Conditions in the patchSame reasoning as the previous one. I think the above actions should do the trick, but I would appreciate if someone more experienced could confirm this.
