  1. This looks very interesting! If it does work, it would be a godsend for me, as Safety Load doesn't work that well on my system.
  2. Discussion thread: aMidianBorn Solstheim Landscape by CaBaL Wiki Link Dropped in v3.0. Cabal did it again! Texture replacer for Solstheim landscape set , ground rocks moss, NO architecture. :)
  3. I would definitely recommend ThermalTake. I have one myself. I cannot recall the model or wattage now, I bought it few good years ago and yet it's still able to power my rig (see my STEP page for specs) without a problem.
  4. Did you try Aiyen's Skylight ENB at all? It hasn't got the sepia tone (one of the features that put me off UC ENB after a while - it made Skyrim look somewhat tropical on sunny days). 1. YES 2. YES 3. No DoF included, but you could copy one from UC. 4. YES 5. YES (made for those 2 mods specifically!) 6. It's not too vibrant, I like it personally (obviously, since I was testing it extensively during development and it's tuned somewhat according to my suggestions :) ) 7. YES 8. YES 9. YES 10. YES
  5. To answer your question more specifically, no you cannot. If you remove (delete) that entry, it will still overwrite WAF entry (with a blank value). I am not sure what would happen, you may get a CTD on Main Menu load or the armor rating for that item would be 0 in game.
  6. I tried it, but the bleak door texture didn't appeal to me, it didn't fit well IMHO. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  7. BOSS registered dirty edits so I cleaned it. BOSS is 99% right in these cases, but not in this particular one, I did check with mod author on Nexus specifically :)
  8. Thanks for all your suggestions!
  9. I tried Requiem as well for a short while and, aside from the fact that I was getting lots of CTD's (even with vanilla game + Requiem only!), I thought it's more suited for a mage character. For some reason a warrior character that I created just didn't feel right. I had a feeling it's faster paced gameplay than vanilla (or SkyRe for that matter) and somehow it felt right to be a mage... Just my 3c.
  10. I believe you're referring to "install order" and "load order", rather than "mod load order" and "plugin load order" :)
  11. It does not require cleaning. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  12. Moved to a more appropriate section
  13. I also use Clairvoyance for the quests that have not enough description. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  14. I still use this mod - including No Player Marker - and I think it's awesome. Reduce compass transparency to 0% with Immersive HUD and it's even better!
  15. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40731/? Retexture, that looks very nice on the screenies! Not much more to say really. MT Notes Ancient Falmer Armor Overhaul MT Notes:To Do Notes: Need comparisons to HRDLC (current STEP) in different environments.
  16. Can anyone recommend a good skin texture for vanilla models, other than XCE? Kind of bored with that.
  17. Yeah, I would like to see that as well, for both males and females. And some nice skin texture, kind of bored with XCE.
  18. Hi there. Welcome to STEP forums :) This thread will be fine for those details, we can track it here. If you message z929669 on Nexus to confirm your identity, you'll get a nice Mod Author badge here on STEP :)
  19. All that you guys say is not questionable. The tool certainly DOES help. All I'm saying though is that there is a lot of people (myself included) that have problems with this tool. The problems seem to be too severe and also dependant on too many factors to recommend this tool to be used as part of STEP. At the very least it should not be required as part of STEP:Core (frankly, it's not NEEDED with STEP:Core, as there won't be ILS's or CTD's with STEP:Core), and a visible warning should be put up advising that Safety Load can cause problems that are able to damage your save beyond repair and use it at your own risk. We should cover our backs I think as it's not really possible to fully test this tool, reasons stated in my previous posts.
  20. No problem :) Marking as solved.
  21. In my experience it's flaws were revealed only after good few days of heavy game play. But I agree that it's not realistic to test it throughout, as the issues seem to be hardware, system and mod set up dependant. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  22. +1 I agree. Matter of preference I guess. Do you prefer to have your character more rough-looking or clean, after-shower look? Due to the game style I prefer the former.
