The NPC mods need to be loaded after so that you get all the intended look and characteristics the mod author intended, then you load the requiem patch for that character which should add the key Requiem perks and perhaps toughen the character up a little depending on whether it is too weak for Requiem. That said such patches really don't need much as the weapons and armor they use will be already up to requiem stats due to the way Requiem works unless they are unique and not patched.

This always trial and error because everyones set up is different, keep at it until you have it all as you want it.

SKYRIMLE No Dragon LODs (by ShenziSixaxis)
Smile44 replied to swiftfoxmark2's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Or merge all the esps because most users here have all the DLCs kind of a STEP requirement these days though not un - work round - able. Still sems like an interesting idea. -
That is the recommendation of the authors of Requiem, but there are some mods that I would want to win. Strictly speaking any follower mods or combat enhancement mods e.g. DCO need to load after Requiem mods, so do mods that add NPCs so yes as long as you do that alongside these mods Requiem patches then you should be golden. but watch out for clashes with sound and or lighting mods. TES5Edit is your friend.

If this is LOOT sorted then you are probably OK, but if you are using SR then you will need to move the SR CR patch and the ELE -Interior Lighting Merged.esp (if you are using it down to be just above the bashed patch. Also you can't use ELFX Exteriors and Lanterns of Skyrim they clash big time. Lose Lanterns if you don't want to edit the CR patch again. Finally you will need to make your own CR patch to ensure that key mods are winning conflict battles e.g. Requiem. The link at the bottom of the previous page should help with that. P.S. I've only looked very quickly at your list, so apologies if this is not a complete analysis, do not have time tonight unfortunately.

Nope you need all the masters present before you can load the patch to edit it. Once you have made the edits then those files can be hidden again.
-
No you just need to remove the files relating to better Vampires, use the CR build guide to help you find them, there are not many then remove BV from the file header as a master. Here are the file you want to remove from the CR patch - I think (it may be worth checking). Once you've done that, click on File Header for the mod and look in the right panel for the master Better Vampires.esp - right click and remove. Hope this helps.

If you use LOOT then you will have to build a conflict resolution patch in TES5Edit it cannot be avoided. I see that you have not really followed SR:LE perhaps in parts. There is a lot of guides on the internet about building patches and HERE is one to get you started. Good luck.

OK just to clear things up the Requiem pack is designed to be used with STEP or SR:LE both of which require Dragonborn. As the current patch for that is out of date I am waiting for Azirok to update his patches. When he does I will update the guide to 1.8, this should be soon. I recommend Requiem 1.8 whole heartedly and if you are not a Dragonborn user then go right ahead and use it. Even if you have Dragonborn you could still install it but just avoid Solstheim until it is patched. The Requiem guide works well as it is but I wont update it until I can make it fully compatible with STEP and SR:LE and of course REGS. I hope this clears things up.

Hey Neo just redoing the CR without ELFX Exteriors edits (REGS compatibility etc.) and found this; Block 2 > Sub-Block 4 > 00071FFE SolitudeJusticiarsHeadquarters > Temporary > 00015F44Conflict Resolution: Use record from EnhancedLightsandFX.esp then move the XLRL - Location and DATA - Position/Rotation records from Cutting Room Floor.esp. Edit DATA - Flags to "10000101". Problem Resolved: Changes from Cutting Room Floor and Enhanced Lights and FX needed to be merged. There does not appear to be a DATA - Flags entry to edit unlike the previous entry, possible C&P error?

These look great, always thought Daedric looked impractical to use but these scream evil but at the same time look like weapons a warrior would be able to wield effectively, something I think Bethesda missed in their design perhaps.

STEP 2.29 includes both STEP Core and STEP Extended. When STEP 2.3 is released (no ETA) then it will just be STEP Core only. The Extended pack will then become live as a separate pack. So if you want to install STEP Extended then follow the main STEP guide and install all the mods as directed and all will be fine.
-
I am not familiar with that bug. I do know that many Requiem users do use that mod REM. So I guess it is is good, just check the version you use is compatible. I have not used it myself though.
-
It is great as it is so it will be good, just follow the pack guide and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
-
Not a huge difference but there have been some changes, paticularly in the way difficulty is managed and there is now a skyproc patcher to make sure all NPCs are properly Requiemified. A number of other fixes and changes. Ogreboss forgot to do something or other with the scipts which is what is causing the backwards compatibility problem. I personally want to upgrade to 1.8 so will be waiting for those patches which hopefully will not be too long coming now that Azirok is seeing light at the end of the tunnel. 1.73 is great though and works a treat but I can understand anyone holding off. The pack should be updated in a couple of weeks but I am at the mercy of things outside of my control.

Good news.

I do not recommend using the latest version, but the one in the guide instead. Until compatibility with Dragonborn is sorted at least. But this is only for compatibility with STEP and or SR:LE. I will upgrade the guide as soon as the requisite patches are made available. I would do them myself as most are not difficult to sort out but I seriously do not have the time to devote to building and testing such patches, and I do not as yet have Azirok's skill when it comes to the major patches he has put together which are practically mods in themselves. Stick to 1.73 for now as detailed in the pack guide and you will be fine. Of course the main problem now is that 1.8 is not compatible with 1.73 so you would need to start a new game when you upgrade. For that reason I am trying out some different approaches for now until the patches are updated at which point I will update the pack.

They are or have been AFAIK maybe not BOYD.

The Author is back and it has been updated, He had further plans to improve compatibility and develop the mod further as time allows. YASH does have limited compatibility, Frostfall is fine as is IA / IW / SIC / HLE / CH etc.. but as in Requiem this mod does touch on most things so was not built with compatibility in mind. Fortunately it is also modular.

Help with weapon clipping with cloaks
Smile44 replied to DefyVelocity's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
ASFAIA there has always been clipping with cloaks, this is because it has proved very difficult to prevent it. There is a mod/s that add a cloak with the correct HDT extensions but so far this has been for one off cloaks. Your options are to not use cloaks or just live with it. I play in first person mainly so not such a big issue I just need the environmental protection they offer. Ninja'd, who'd have thought. -
The WIP tag on the pack has been there from the start, need to get that changed as it works fine as is, but only for Requiem 1.7.3 not the new one. SR:LE is also fine to use, though more mods will be added this may take a really long time so no point waiting, as updates and new additions are fully tested and integrated via the CR patch. The other pack set up will also work but you will need to merge many mods, as both REGS and Morrowloot packs potentially add more plugins than SR:LE does on it's own.
-
A Conflict resolution patch is do-able for both STEP Core and Extended (would probably be largely the same), and also for SR. This would be to carry forward any features from mods and especially Requiem that need to be carried forwards. In theory merging the Requiem patches would be OK just not sure if getting permission is needed for some of the patches, though they do merge well. Azirok is planning to do this very thing - just no longer sure when as he has been missing for a while. The STEP patches merge some mods, I believe permission was sought for those. Requiem already incorporates some of the mods in STEP such as the Lock Retex mod and no NPC greetings etc.. Key stopping point right now is the need for new patches following the release of Requiem 1.8.1.1. They are being made, there is a USKP patch, and a Hearthfires patch but no dragonborn patch as yet. Then there is the question of REGS which many people use now. I did originally have plans for a more specific guide but opted for one that is adaptable. I am happy to take on board any ideas for improving the guide and certainly new changes could be planned as to what mods / patches are needed and seek any permissions that may be required. As is, the guide needs no permissions but when providing a merged patch of other people's work on a public forum then it gets a little trickier. I was planning to provide some updated patches anyway but I am waiting for all the relevant patches first before I attempt this. If you or anyone wants to help build or improve this pack then I am very happy for people to do so. Any ideas or preferences?

Yup as I was implying it is all coming together, they were talking about that over at the Requiem page and site, DSR has become such a must have mod (much kudos). Just need a few more links in the chain. Once that happens I will set up STEP Core again and test it there. SR will probably take a little longer due to more compatibility issues to sort potentially. Still Requiem seems to be edging more firmly towards compatibility, always was more compatible than a full SkyRe install due to the way they changed weapon and armor stats. It all looks rather interesting especially the amount of control you have through the MCM.

Hi, I've tried to keep the instructions on the guide as simple and clear as possible but the instructions do assume a complete working build for either STEP or SR:LE both of which would get you using all the main tools, especially SR:LE. With that knowledge the Requiem Install is more straight forward. That said it will at some point get a revamp as "Requiem for the Indifferent" 1.8.1.1 is out and needs at least a Dragonborn patch before it will be compatible with wither STEP or SR:LE. Some of the existing patches will work but the community is trying to get more done with Azirok temporarily out of the picture due to work RL stuff. But when it is sorted I will update the guide. Requiem now has a skyproc patcher which mainly makes NPCs more compatible, but there are many more possibilities with it so looking forward to that. Good luck with your builds,
