  1. Erm Vilja.esp (that is not the name of that plugin but we both know what we mean) should be before Vilja - Solstheim.esp, other wise coeect.
  2. Should be fine they need to load after both Requiem and relevant mods. EDIT: Have added load order instructions.
  3. Yes use them I will need to update the guide with those. I'm not using STEP at the moment so will need to see what's in the guide and make adjustments, that said you have done that for me so thanks. EDIT: I have updated the guide to reflect changes with Patch Central and added some merge instructions.
  4. New SkyRe overhaul is called Perkus Maximus and is a way off yet. Requiem is still going strong, 1.8 due out at the end of the month and Aziroks Requiem Patch Central is a great new development. 38 patches currently two more in the works plus updates. He is also working on packs with combined plugins, so a Requiem patch is a must, puhweese...
  5. All the plugins in that folder should have been merged, if you had more than that then you installed too many. Put every plugin except the new merged one into Optional folder. You can uncheck any mods that have been merged into a plugin only if they have no other content, e.g. textures / scripts etc.. otherwise just move the plugin or uncheck it which ever you prefer. Remember the merged plugin does all of the things that the individual ones did and needs to access the same resources that the original plugin did.
  6. What you need to do is change the name of SRLE_CoTMerge.esp to CoT-WeatherPatch.esp once you have completed the merge. There is no instruction to install any of the night level patches so you should not have any of them in the source mod (In this case CoT Weather Patch). Place this file in the CoT Weather Patch folder (after you have moved all the .esp files into the optional folder - right click mod then select Information then select optional esps then use that to move all the non-merged esp files into optional). This will leave you with your merged esp now called CoT-WeatherPatch.esp and can now be sorted correctly by BOSS. Hope this helps.
  7. Requiem does add a lot to the game, it doesn't just change stats, many quests have been changed to be more challenging. Until patches exist for the quest mods they will be unbalanced - those that use vanilla resources will likely be more compatible, but those adding new characters will likely struggle in the requiem world as they will not have the right stats and could easily be one shotted by you and added items will not be powerful enough to match the intention of the mod author. What REGS does as far as improving the world space and filling it with lots of places and characters is fantastic and is a must for me, but the quests I would fore-go in a Requiem play through. Saves you a few slots as well. Helgen Reborn will be patched soon Undeath already is and I am sure more will follow. So it might be a case of adding in quest mods as you go. As far as the bashed patch goes, you would not lose out because Azirok has already matched the leveled lists to work together and this goes for all the mods that need to be in a bashed patch so it is not needed and can be problematic in a heavily modded Requiem based game. Hopefully this answers your questions - I have not looked at the quest mods in detail, I suppose I would need to to give you a list and perhaps I will look into this soon, but IMHO Requiem adds enough to the game to not need these extra quests - at least for now.
  8. Can be done - I would suggest weather and lighting first, then when you have that right add in REGS. Merge your weather plugins and your ETaC plugins and anything else you can merge. Then when that is all happy and up and running then add Requiem. If planning to add Requiem, follow the notes in the REGS with respect to Requiem then I would also leave out the Quest mods in REGS as without patches the enemies may be too weak. Helgen Reborn should be patched soon though. Good luck,
  9. Requiem Patch Central is now up and running with 33 patches and more on the way. Your one stop shop for all your Requiem patching needs. This is Aziroks patches only though he has offered to host other author's patches for the game. EDIT: I have updated the pack page to reflect this - much shorter mod tables.
  10. It doesn't matter if you load the STEP Extended patch after Requiem and it's patches I only suggested it so that users can use LOOT without too many problems associated with Load order, which LOOT does not get right with respect to Requiem. There will be much more info available soon about this with some current work being done by Azirok which I will relate to in the guide.
  11. 1) Both should be loaded after all the other patches (not counting patches for other mods that need to load after Requiem.esp). 2) Azirok built all the patches to go with Krypto's CCO mods so I would assume it is necessary, it ensures that all helmets have Requiem stats. 3) It is included in the installer for AOS 2 - make sure you are using the latest version 2.1. Hope this helps,
  12. 1) Are you running B.U.M. through MO? If not there's your problem, you will need to go back and set up all the tools to run through MO. 2) have you activated the mods in the left hand pane of MO, if the esp file is not showing in the right hand pane before you run B.U.M. then it wont show up. 3) Not sure about this one but is the esp activated in the right hand pane of MO, again may cause B.U.M. to not see it. If not one of these three then I don't know. Ninja'd.
  13. I have updated the pack page, new OBIS patch from Azirok and new advice for REGS as well as updated load order malarky. Requiem 1.8 should be out fairly soon which will remove the need for certain 'fix' patches. It seems Azirok is bringing his patches together under one roof (mod page) and producing packs and guides. Much of which may make parts of this guide obsolete. I plan to mirror much of his changes on this pack. Ultimately this means the mod tables will get shorter (a lot) as most if not all of the patches will be downloaded from one place. He also plans to merge patches which will shorten load order somewhat. I will be keeping an eye and updating as needed. The latest idea is to not use a bashed patch at all as leveled lists are all sorted in the patches. All fairly interesting.
  14. Wrye Bash is merging that plugin into the bashed patch so you dont need to do anything and you have saved a plugin slot.
  15. Well that way works too, and probably how I would do more complex plugins. It is a good solid way to avoid mistakes. Great when you get stuff worked out.
  16. OK my bad, I have come across this before, You will need to load the STEP patch after EBV unless you remove EBV as a master for the STEP Extended patch - an advanced TES5Edit process that involves loading up the STEP Extended patch and EBV and then moving the file or files from the STEP Patch that rely on EBV, this means clicking on each EBV file in the left hand pane until you get a file that has STEP Extended appearing after it in the right hand pane then removing that entry from the STEP Extended patch - right click the file in the left hand pane under STEP Extended and select remove, click 'yes' at the prompt. Then when you have done this remove EBV as a master in the file header of the STEP Extended patch - right click the entry for EBV and select remove and then 'yes'. Save file and you are golden. f you want to try this make sure that you save a copy of the patches and that only the STEP Extended patch is saved when you close TES5Edit - if you go wrong then make sure no files are ticked when you close TES5Edit and then start again I do not have STEP installed at present or I'd do it for you. EBV is a very minor mod.
  17. Doesn't really matter they both patch different things. You may need to start from a clean save or new game or at least wait a number of in-game days for the changes made by ASIS come into effect.
  18. A patch for Paarthurnax dilemma is no longer needed since recent upgrade to that mod - must use latest version and it must be loaded after Requiem.esp ( doesn't have to be directly after it). The load order I posted on the wiki page is for use with BOSS and B.U.M. it is not for LOOT. The STEP Extended Patch ensures that all the mods in STEP Extended work well together it has nothing whatsoever to do with Requiem. This is why I am saying to post Requiem.esp and all relevant patches after this patch. Then bashed patch and ASIS, DSR etc. This way you have Requiem sitting on top of your STEP extended install. I have included many mods patches that you will probably not need in the list and instructions for how to trim your load order. It is important to do this so that all the mods follow each other correctly. So install all the patches you need after you have run LOOT then manually place them in the stated order, if you don't have a certain mod or patch then miss it out and move onto the next one keeping the order as shown. This should work fine though as I have stated several times I am not supporting LOOT as yet. Hope this helps.
  19. "Wonder if the most simple solution would work. Just replacing the original .esp with the Requiem patched one, as they even share the same name..." I believe I suggested you do that a while ago. The Requiem EBV patch is a replacer for the EBV plugin. You don't want both of them just the Requiem plugin - that should solve your problem, hopefully, bit tired so failed to spot that that was your issue in this case. P.S. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
  20. Some tweaking is obviously needed. I can't support LOOT because I don't use it so you will have to use trial and error or look at the master file dependencies and tweak. I don't know why you keep changing the priority in the LH pane as that is only needed for texture / meshes or duplicate esp files overwriting other ones, it has no baring on Load order, and it is load order that is causing you difficulties. I thought you had switched to BOSS - that is so much easier to sort, at least for me. I am in the middle of moving home so will not be up for much support till the end of the week. Hopefully you can find some joy before then.
  21. Ann that's what I must have done, perhaps but I don't remember exactly what, either way it looks solved.
  22. I had these once, don't think its an SR mod but Dawn of Riften, but again not that mod's fault either. Something just isn't loading correctly. I re-installed DoR and they went away. If you don't have DoR then perhaps any mod who'd textures and meshes affect Riften need looking at. That said it's not the main structures of Riften that are bugging out. Hope this points you in the right direction.
  23. I think all users should make use of the STEP guides before posting about issues, of course it doesn't hurt to ask and this is a very helpful site. People put a lot of time and effort into creating these how to guides and it worth the time put in to go through them first to find the answers we need and only ask questions when we can't find or fully comprehend the guide or section thereof. That said when the guides for tools like DDSOpt first came out there was extensive use of jargon which made it difficult to understand the instructions and or information, there was much debate and tweaking that followed. SR came along and with its jargon lite approach helped me and I know many others to both understand and gain confidence using the variety of tools on offer for modding Skyrim - that has been an invaluable contribution to the community. It does not however replace the more in depth learning of going through the more complete and detailed guides, or watching the vids on YouTube. All the key guides and videos are linked to from the SR page in the tools section at the start of he guide and perhaps apart from he odd tweak here and there (which have always been ongoing), the guide is as clear as can be and remains a fantastic resource.
  24. I can see what you mean now, the instructions to Use Folder are in the main DDSOpt guide which is linked to from SR:LE and where you get the settings from. It would probably be useful to have "then click Use Folder" added onto the instructions in the SR guide though as many users learn to use the modding tools from SR rather than the STEP guides.
