Yay the suggestion I made many months ago when it was clear that Azirok had disappeared has taken hold even if this happened without anyone reading my suggestion. I will need to look at this as it may well mean finally updating the Requiem guide. Damn a lot of work ahead, will try over Easter holidays.
-
Another suggestion is to follow the Requiem pack guide, it uses 1.73 as it's base but does work fine wit STEP.
-
No need to do that, usually something is missing a master but if TES5Edit loads it then something else is a problem, these things can be a ***** to fix when you don't know what to look for, has happened to all of us here. LOOT is fine, just manually order Requiem and it's dependent mods and patches afterwards.
-
Is your modlist the same as your load order? If so Requiem Resources must load after Requiem.esp. Run your full load order through TES5Edit and see if it loads. It should tell you if you have any game breaking load order issues.

pack Perkus Maximus (PerMa - PaMa) Pack
Smile44 replied to phazer11's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Requiem runs fine even with large mod set ups. It does touch nearly everything in Skyrim and so removes the need for a ton of mods but can be made to work with them trough patches. PerMa would not be compatible in any way though, nor SPERG etc... I have never experienced such difficulty if running Requiem on an otherwise modless install - should work like a charm. If not an install problem then likely an ini or game file issue. -
Yes that would be fine, LOOT is probably great for all the mods in this pack if using with STEP. SR:LE uses BOSS though so you will need to follow BOSS rules where they apply in this pack, that said SR:LE pretty much has all of this anyway.
-
This is not due to Requiem, there is very likely a problem in your ini or prefs folder. I would renew those then activate Requiem and you should have no problems. In fact I would use Steam to check your files are complete, this sort of issue occurs during major mod changes but these assume no installation errors. Many people run Requiem with large mod set ups successfully so check Skyrim's integrity (game files) is fine then ini and prefs file and try again.

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
Smile44 replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I am using these, have not looked at cleaning them yet. I used ASLAL to go to the town in High Rock, can't remember the name. Seems OK so far will test more tonight. -
Missing mods in S.T.E.P. Core...
Smile44 replied to GaemFucious's question in General Skyrim LE Support
These are all in The Ruffled Feather - Mod Collection by Sparrowprince. Download and install the specific mods from the installer. -
Yes its safe to make that assumption.
-
That's what I do place everything in an SR Patches mod. I have a different version for different profiles. Keeps things tidy.
-
Yes replace the esp. If you use MO then just hide the plugin from Dawnguard Crossbow Bolts Visualized and use the requiem one.
-
As Requiem note, very important otherwise you will end up with steel doing more damage than ebony and other such problems.

SKYRIMLE True Wolves Of Skyrim (by KrittaKitty and ShimoOkami)
Smile44 replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
"I'm waiting for the Skyrim Immersive Creatures version" Umm compatibility with SIC is already there since November as well as pretty much every other relevant mod, certainly the important ones SkyTEST and SIC and Automatic Variants. Unless of course you mean something else. -

He means any and all files that begin redoran0 and end in .dds, so * means anything that is between that start and end is to be counted. -
"Immersive Patrols" and unrecognized
Smile44 replied to TheMerryPloughboy's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Copied from SR:LE guide for Immersive Patrols. BOSS Masterlist Update Required: (Updating Guide) Immersive Patrols II.esp AFTER Immersive Patrols.esp Hope it helps, -
Depends, if you are using STEP then you only need the patch that i linked to on previous page. It covers CCF, WAF, HF, DB etc in one patch. So you can use 1.8.2 with STEP. If you use other mods you will need to look out for patches.

SR:LE and quest mods, many many quest mods
Smile44 replied to Ojack's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Yes it is. SR:LE has 145 active plugins and that can be reduced further by merging equipment mods and similar. Lots of suggestions around on the forum. -
Yep I am aware of that, but he is also needing feedback with key mod authors, so that specific keywords are used that will make the mods compatible with the requifiticator (reproccer). Be great if he pulls it off.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Smile44 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I suggest that you go back and re read the instructions, you should have that file but you get it from one of the other mods I believe it is in the WAF - ICH optional. -
Yes mainly the problem is mods like SIC and HLE that do not have up to date patches, HLE never had one I'm not sure why. 1.8.2 should generally work with SR but there will be little issues with some enemies being to easy or overly slowed by heavy armor. None of this is earth shattering. The current Requiem pack is for 1.73 I will need to completely redo it for 1.8.2. There are far less patches required though but before I attempt to do that I need to get STEP and SR installed on my system again and then get Requiem working with them once I've done that I can re-write the pack. Just do not know when I will get the time. If anyone is using new patches successfully with 1.8.2 they could save us all time by adding them to the wiki using the appropriate form. Then those patches can be added to a table in the guide. Running the Requifiticator and load order instructions would then need to be added, so again anyone who has successfully solved those problems can help out by listing their thoughts. I wrote the first pack on this site not because I am the most skilled or knowledgeable member but because I knew that once packs began to appear others would get involved and make huge improvements. Ultimately one needs to do stuff to make things happen, much more rewarding than waiting around for others to do it. I wish I had the time but I don't, that said I do tinker and will probably get testing done at some stage I am just reluctant to put any timescale on it. P.S. The reproccer is still in development and will eventually reduce the need for many patches. You can keep up with that via the nexus page and related sites linked to from that page.

Nope, I've been away, and also gotten sidetracked looking at some other issues. There is enough information posted on here to get a working Requiem with STEP but do not have enough time or will to get into any major restructuring and problem solving just at present. There is only one patch needed, link is above. SR is not compatible yet as key specialist patches are not available AFAIK.

pack Weather and Lighting (by Smile44)
Smile44 replied to Smile44's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
WAO already has instructions though not as detailed as they might be and there are no merging instructions. It is feasible to get the count quite low for plugins, two is ambitious I think but then again it is possible. I assume you are talking about the base WAO install rather than the full recommendd mod install which would not be practical. Only feasible difficulty down the line is various patches needed for other mods that a user might need. SoS in particular requires a good deal of patching with any mods that affect cells in any way. I'm sure that the mega patch takes care of much of it. I guess I will need to look at it myself so that I know how well it fits in with various modded set ups. Either way you have my blessing to add such instructions to the guide. It might be an idea to have several options as to a lighting and weather set up, and perhaps sound mods need to be a part of it. I may edit what is currently there to give it a more specific feel for my choices, so a specific set of mods and ENB to give it a certain look with perhaps some in game pictures and of course merging instructions and compatibility data. Your set up with the mega patch could then be a different option, but again with similar detail. Others may wish to suggest their set ups, I know Tech is working on a STEP lighting solution it could possibly be added to this so that there is a one stop shop for weather and lighting with sound solution. Mods like ASLAL and Requiem do modify cells and will need patching, so compatibility would be needed for popular mods that might conflict in an unhelpful manner. Only published packs should be referred to for this otherwise it would be an endless chore. There are three overhaul packs on the wiki at present that are being updated and are popular with users. Ultimately there will be some sort of reorganisation for packs once 2.3 becomes imminent AFAIK, so that they becom streamlined and refer to a central database of mods that include more information than currently displayed. This is a way off for now but that does not mean packs cannot be made ready befor then. Anyway I'm rambling now so signing off, Ciao! -
pack Weather and Lighting (by Smile44)
Smile44 replied to Smile44's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Hi , I have no problem if you would like to improve on this pack. It was the first pack created for STEP and involved several of the admin at the time as far as testing the pack creation page. I used mods that I was experimenting with at the time so the pack is quite dated though I have updated from time to time the set up still works. I am currently experimenting with Pure weathers with ELFX and Relighting Skyrim and PureVision ENB, from the pack I am using ESS and SS, may add REF for nice foggy effects. There are so many choices for weather and lighting combinations that it would be hard to cover them all and of course it would not be a good idea to repeat instructions from SR or WSO megapatch. Having some clear alternatives with merging instructions would be useful I am sure. I know that all the weather plugins merge relatively painlessly, so it would be possible to get the pack down to a handful of plugins that could work in any set up. Of course Real Shelter would need to be patched afterwards if they wanted to use it trouble is it would need extra patches depending on set ups so apart from information about compatibility I would be hesitant to use it in the pack. All the best -
Errm! Just went onto the site and in the gameplay / Game Ovwerhauls section we find Per Ma. Not sure what you were looking at.
