Agreed. This becomes quite annoying when combined with Frostfall - it seriously interferes with exploring outside.

SKYRIMLE Supreme and Volumetric Fog by MannyGT
statmonster replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
There's a bunch of fog mods - which one(s) are best? Which ones are compatible with what? The morning fog mod seemed attractive a bit "lighter" than this. -
Good idea. Enemy mages seem to cause lots of crashes in combats.

Bite the bullet and reinstall Steam on your SSD (and not in your programs file). Then put Skyrim and MO inside it. Ideally you will have your OS on one SSD and Steam/Skyrim/MO on another - or so it seems to me. -

+1 It's horrible. Wait for it to get fixed - then wait another few days to make sure it is. Does not like Skyprocs at all and it's installers will fail. Installing SkyUI 4.0 caused a serious corruption issue. aMidian BoS 1.85 failed but also deleted the old 1.7 version. -
Are your freezes just outdoors or indoors too? Any places you get a guaranteed freezes? My suggestions would be: DDSOPT landscape mods (Foundation except for WATER) to 2048 for most textures and 1024 for normals. Probably Automatic Variants too. Do not use the z-Fighting .ini changes. Reduce the various shadow settings in Skyrim Prefs back to 2048 or 1024.

From what I understand, there are some that get hideous when you DDSOpt them - I think WATER (the mod) is not supposed to react well to the process.

I have started using the clear corpses and reset cells random options in MCM (I think it's in SIC) to cut down the length before corpses are cleared and cells reset. I hope this will reduce the load as well as allow me to return tom places sooner. Haven't sued it enough to see how well it works for this. But 10/30 days is way too long.

I have used this mod quite a bit a few months back, but never really did the quests. There weren't too many of them then. There were also lot of comments on broken quests, etc. Of course it's the people who have issues that write comments so there is a bit of selection bias here. I wonder how the quests have evolved in the last few months - there seems to be lots of work on this mod.

SR does have RLO, CoT , etc. If there are issues with RLO suggestions on other mods to include to replace (or perhaps supplement it) are useful.

It could have been a problem with the installer you used. Try switching from integrated FOMOD installer to non-intetegrated (or vice versa). Sometimes one of these will fail to grab a few of the files. Seems to happen with animations a lot.

I would suggest you do SR, then create another profile (copy SR into a new one in MO) for the additional features. This way you can know that SR is installed and functioning, so that you can pinpoint the source of any issues. -

That count sounds about right to me. -
ACCEPTED Superior Lore-Friendly Hair - HD textures (by skyrimaguas)
statmonster replied to FCqt's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
These look pretty nice, at least the screen shots. The general effect seems to be to make the hair look cleaner and better groomed and less dirty and less greasy. Whether you like your Skyrim inhabitants looking clean or dingy will probably drive whether you think this is an improvement. EDIT What's the resolution? 2k Also seems to have download options for less shiny hair. The comment that it is vanilla hair "Apachiified" makes sense. -

On the right side of your MO click on the data column. Then go to: Textures> Actors > Character > Female You can see all the femalebody*.dds files there and see which Mod each of them comes from. Using the Data tab in MO is a great way to see what mods are supplying the textures, meshes, scripts, etc. you are using. If you hover over a red Mod entry it will show you all the overwritten mods (still installed in MO) that were providing data for that file. -

It doesn't need to be manual - either the default or the integrated FOMOD installer does not do the job right but the other one does. So just tick (or untick) the box for that at the top of MO and try to install it again and see if that works. -

Are you sure all the Immserive Animation files are installed? The installer does not install the sword and shield on back option correctly. -

The problem is that sometimes the integrated installer causes this issue. What you need to do is check your map mods and see if the texture files are there. Then see which installer works (non-integrated or integrated). As a last resort you can drag the files from 7z to the proper MO folder. (It's safest to close MO before you do this last one.) -

Apachii makes everyone bald underneath their helmet - hence no clipping (but they look weird if you look around/under the helmet - most noticeable from the front. The wigs help with this. -

This happened when people used the wrong installer on Bergzoe's Animations. I think you need to not use the integrated FOMOD installer (or maybe you need to use it - I forget which). -

@ Solist: 1. Yes, it's intended. No do not delete them. If you look in WB they are marked differently. 2. Nothing else is needed AFAIK unless you had previously altered them.
