FCO is nice. However after a while I used the MCM to cut it down to 50% and am thinking of going to 20-30% when I have 2 followers plus Vilja. (I was using v 0.5 and 0.6) -

This mod leaves looted containers open. I was intrigued by this after seeing the commentary on the mod which removes "empty" from activator descriptions. This might go well with it by providing an immersive visual reminder that you have emptied a container already. A good mod for those looking for followers who speak more or more interestingly. Features: Follower Commentary Overhaul does two things: first, it goes through follower commentary as originally added to the game and "unlocks" it for the use of the whole voicetype. My Anska mod already works the same way: it takes lines that, before, were "locked" on to Mjoll's NPC specifically, and made them valid commentary for any follower NPC using the FemaleNord voicetype. Follower Commentary Overhaul blows the doors off by doing the same for most of the existing idles.Secondly, Follower Commentary Overhaul adds new idles to all vanilla follower voicetypes who did not have their own in a fashion similar to my Nazeem mod: I comb through the audio for each voicetype and pick and cut good comments, and then attach them to the voicetype in the game when they have been picked up as followers.In total, over 1,000 lines of dialogue for the 18 vanilla follower voicetypes were added in; some exactly as they are found elsewhere in the game, others with minor edits, cuts or recombinations where this could be done without ruining the audio quality. This is also done in such a fashion that each voicetype in a sense becomes a personality: for example, the FemaleCommander will call out hostile archers and mages as targets in combat; MaleKhajit pines for his homeland of Elsweyr; FemaleEvenToned will notice if you're infected with a disease and exhort you to get treatment. Other idles are conditionally bound to only occur after certain points in your's or your follower's development - they'll only start talking about dragons after Mirmulnir lets the cat out of the bag, or will begin reveling in their growing mastery of the arcane, or marksmanship prowess. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52019 -

Note: If you are using IA with SPO you must open the console and type "set SPO_DisablePerk to 1" to get the crafting perks to work correctly or else your IA gear will be tempered up too much. Thanks to Kryptopyr for pointing this out. -

Has anyone ever used the AOS_CTD_Fix (see "Possibly fixes a CTD issue around the Riverwood area. Load after any AOS related plugins." Does it work? Is it needed? I very occasionally get crashes around the White River Bridges east of Whiterun and in Whiterun itself. But this is very rare and not at all reproducible. -

1. Not sure but I think it determines which AI package they use. These are modified by some combat mods. I really wish I knew the actual effect! Anyone know? 2. I don't think so. This is driven by their "class" which is defined FOR NPCs in the ESP. 3. Not sure. I would suggest poking around I the Dragonborn ESM and looking at Teldryn's AI and seeing if you could copy it over into the NPC you are interested in. -

@Tarikko1 Interesting post about OCing the CPU and FPS. @Neo I altered my MCM settings to match your new HUD settings. Seems like they are a little better. The only thing I want to adjust is how to hot key they Frostfall display bars - I find that I really want to know what the weather and my body temp are long before I get cold. -

Clever idea. But I never use fat travel (or even fast travel!) except in very rare instances to fix bugs. Half the fun of the game is going places and meeting unexpected and unusual things along the way. -

Anything you craft will get you experience based on value now (so iron daggers aren't so useful). Going to Halter Stream Camp, mining all the iron and transmuting it to gold, and then crafting gold jewelry (especially with expensive jewels in it) will really pop up your smithing (and alteration). So will spamming ebony gear if you go to the ebony mine. But the crafting loads of cheap objects to boost skill doesn't bother me because I could never be bothered to use these sorts of exploits. (Though there are other exploits I need to be tempted not to use mid game...) -

The mod does not seem to carry forward fixes from USKP or the Unofficial Dawngaurd Patch, so a compatibility patch will be needed. Brodual has a video up reviewing the mod which seems to give a good taste of what it looks like: Wow - did not know the video would embed like that by just picking up a link! -

What I read from his response was that you don't need to start a new game, but any NPCs you have already met will retain (some of?) their appearance or stats from before. I am 95% sure that named NPCs have their appearance and stats from the ESM/ESP set when they are first loaded. (There ae some weird excpetions like Aela, Hadvara nd Ralof that seem to actually be multiple different NPCs with some version of them being loaded later in the game - but I am much less certain of this and how it works.) -

For Vividian - Extended Weathers, Extended Weathers Optional, do you intend us to select "None" under Diverse Weathers, or should we pick "Diverse Weathers - AOS Compatability"? I assume "None" since it's the default and not mentioned. Given we are using AOS the latter might seem a sensible choice - but I do wonder if I could survive the extra snow and rain with Frostfall. -

Friendly fire with archers is brutal. They seem to think it's good range safety practie to ciom racing from in behind me trying to get into melee with enemies right as I'm about to shoot that paralytic poisioned arrow from my bow of flames - they flop over in front of the Boss and catch on fire while the Boss wails on them - not so much fun to loot an ash pile, see all that cool gear and realzie it's your (former) follower! I wonder what would happen with Concentrate Fire (from EFF or Better Sneak?) - would my other follower turn them into a pin cushion? Not sure this mod adds anything that EFF and Move It does not. Thoughts?
